  1. Bugs:
  2. - The screen sort of flashes weird in the beginning, though this might be part of the animation that normally happens when the secret items drop in Dracula's castle.

  7. - Hardlock TIME to 999
  8. - Get rid of BLOCK X-# completely, replace with BOSS (BOSSNAME) *Problem - Not much space to work with
  9. - Possibly get rid of lives altogether (P = ##) and replace with something cool
  10. - SCORE could be replaced with actual real-time? Not sure how possible this is given how unrelated it may be to your general work.

Music - If the boss transition ideas can work, letting the boss music play-out without stopping (besides when it switches at 1-4, 6-A, Slogra-Death, Dracula) would be ideal, since every screen is fading out after boss defeat without interuption. Having the boss music constantly going really adds to the 'rush' feel too.

  14. 1st Screen - I like your way of having Dracula's secret drops as the way of farming, and keeping heart count uneffected the whole run.
  15. I do think the whip upgrades + cross shouldn't be dropped, and instead having a line of candles with each subweapon available to choose from. Make the next candle(s) fixed to be the (double and) triple shot. The stopwatch is useless to the bosses, but we could drop it anyway to be funny.

  18. Transitions into Bosses - Transitions into Medusa(2), Vipers(3), Koranot(5), Dancers(6), and Zapf Bat(9) are good as-is.
  19. Use the whole platform before Puwexil(4) for some candles that'll drop big hearts and meat. 99 hearts still isn't enough for all bosses.
  20. Transition into Grakul(7) should be same as vanilla, except keep room empty of enemies, and replace with some big hearts and meat drops.
  21. Transition into Mummy(A) should be same as vanilla, except keep room empty of enemies, and replace with some big hearts and meat drops.
  22. Transitions from Slogra entrance to Dracula should be same as vanilla, except replace candles with big hearts and meat drops.

  24. Transitions After Bosses - Get rid of orbs, countdowns, and stage level cutscenes completely (besides Dracula.)
  25. Replace Rowdain(1), Vipers(3), Koranot(5), Dancers(6), and Frankenstein(8) with a simple fade-out.
  26. Keeping Medusa(2), Puwexil(4), Grakul(7), Zapf Bat(9), Mummy(A), and the final-4 vanilla would be awesome
  27. since they're very unique. And it sounds possibly very difficult to work with and change them.
