How well do you know the source material? (obviously not relevant if it's a transformation): I haven't watch Rurouni Kenshin but I understand the basic concepts of it. It is a style of kenjutsu that utilizes the practitioner's speed and agility to outspeed and react to their opponent deftly. A hidden ability lays a secret as well; extrasensory perception granted by the utilization of the fighting style and its tutelage.
Reasoning: There are a few reasons, I wanted my character to be a minor obstacle in the way of the faction of the Sun. In an ironic sense, I wanted my fighting style's name and my character's nature to clash so he could impact the war with his abrasive outlook which he gained from the Moon faction. Fafnir is a ruthless character but still, a slight side of cowardice is shown if he is outmatched, he is simply a wolf who whimpers when he is challenged by a stronger adversary. In the beginning, Fanfir uses his fighting style as a reason to call himself an adroit fighter due to his natural talent. He will be defeated one day, but because of his placement in the Moon faction, he has gained immense confidence and arrogance within his own actions. Fafnir was trained by his father, learning that power and influence is the only thing that will stop this war; allowing minuscule thoughts of the war ending in his mind — A trait that isn't owned by the rest of his peers. He is homogenous to a Saiyan Warrior, learning that he has attained true power until he is promptly defeated; a true coward.
