  1. [07:46:59] A squad was selected to exact this little act of terrorism. Perhaps not the strongest one, but one that would definitely have to do. The goal was simple: Infiltrate the Sanctuary, reunite Nashandra with her Greyrot hive, and maybe flood the place, considering the side of the island, the coean was close by. Nothing too crazy, but a first strike against Nostvale.
  2.
  3. Harkon would be instrumental here. As a rift mage, he would likely get a few nasty glares from the Eternal Flame. However, his ability did have its perks, and they'd be invaluable to the underdogs. It would be through his portal that they would all find themselves stepping into the bowels of the Sanctuary.
  4.
  5. The Greyrot wasn't gone. While it seemed like the place was quarantined and the numbers were reduced to limit spread, it didn't change much of anything. Unless an extreme initiative was taken, which would render most research on it far less valuable, they would preserve it. It did serve as a natural self defense mechanism after all, even if feral.
  6.
  7. Unfortunately, Nashandra was born atuned to the Greyrot, to be their hive queen. Her power was of course not like her Progenitor's, and could not truly control them, but they wouldn't be threatened either. No, she needed to assimilate their essence first.
  8.
  9. "We're doing this quickly. There's likely some powerful security keeping the Greyrot at bay, and they will hear us. I need you all to cover me, before we actually start damaging the complex."
  10.
  11. She'd order, voice neutral and posed, as screaming was going to get unnecessary attention far too quickly.
  12. (Nashandra)
  13. [07:53:48] Yorrick would arrive at the location with the rest of them through rifting, he wore his best threads for this terrorist attack, a fine red Jacket pulled on over his noblemans top, he grinned widely and would tip his wide brimmed hat as they entered the location. He heard the order to cover her and he'd nod.
  14.
  15. "Right." He'd say in a somewhat hushed voice, "Cover you, got it. For future reference, what is greyrot?" He wasn't very well informed as to why they were actually here, but honestly that didn't really bother him, he was up for it regardless, he was bored.
  16.
  17. He'd unsheath his Katana in one hand and with the other he'd focus for a moment a fireball would appear in his palm, he was ready for whatever they might encounter, this was gonna be fun.
  18. (Yorrick)
  19. [07:57:13] Oh, boy. Being dragged along into an attempt on terrorism. The idea wasn't quite what Rhaziel wanted, seeing as if his name and appearance was known, then he'd easily be forbidden from going to Nostvale.
  20.
  21. But, of course, duty prevailed. So the aging occultist followed Nashandra, entirely silent as he returned to Sanctuary after quite a long amount of years; but this place was rather unfamiliar. He remembered the upper levels of it, as that was where he met Charlie. He had never been this far into it. But needless to say, he remained vigilant; watching silently as he waited for Nashandra to do whatever it was she was planning.
  22.
  23. Yorrick's presence was rather irritable to him. The young man seemed ignorant, uneducated. But Rhaziel was quick to push that bias aside. Yorrick was a useful tool in this scenario, meaning Nashandra could accomplish whatever she wanted and he could provide ample cannon fodder.
  24.
  25. what a pleasant friend.
  26. (Rhaziel Vydres)
  27. [07:57:13] The Rune Idea was abandoned.
  28.
  29. Faces Harkon hadn't seen before awaited on his part in this ordeal. The hovering Fey, his wings painted various bright colours and his face hidden behind a leafy mask with pink locks dripping down his neck, recalls Sanctuary as it was. Attempting to hide his identity was likely a rather poor thing to try. After all, how many Fey would work against Nostvale at all?
  30.
  31. Harkon doubted many at all. Even still, it was best to not give as many details as possible.
  32.
  33. The Rift forms, a tear linking the group to Sanctuary. It was difficult to take them into a specific room required - The connection to this place had too long to degrade. But it leads them somewhere near enough, but resistance is no doubt going to be met. They step through, a splash of cold air assaulting them right away. It felt strange being back.
  34.
  35. "Yes, I'm aware of that. Let's just be quick." The Rift snaps shut.
  36.
  37. (Harkon)
  38. {NARRATION} Sanctuary.. Oh my has it changed- cargo, crates, so many things piled in the basement. The place was being renovated after all, turned into a 'temple' of some kind. Stone slabs, workings wandering about.. However the group had rifted into what appeared to be a temporary makeshift 'kitchen'. Slabs of beef, fish, so on and so fourth hung from hooks. However most peculiar about the kitchen was the giant translucent barrels.. Filled to the brim with greyrot. The slouching twisting masses of 'flesh' writhing together, splashing against the sides yet bottled up through impeccable means. A massive hulking figure with naught but a matching butchers knife wheezing whilst he worked on preparing 'meals'. There may have been guards, there may have been soldiers.. But they were elsewhere, and... And none matched Fierie's strength upon Sanctuary. The hulking behemoth visibly showing signs of both Chimera, and the grey rot. Blackened oily veins mixed with odd, mold-like growth... It was soon shown as to why he was like that. A meaty hand reaching into one of the translucent barrels and grasping at a handful of the notably toxic material.. And chewing on it like some kind of 'snack'. Perhaps he was the one they had bought in to clean the place of Greyrot. A painfully slow and methodical movement considering the place still had notable signs of it- but it was as if that defensive mechanism was buying its time as of late, striking only when this bloated abomination wasn't waddling about. A soft hum was rasping from his lips, bulking hands carefully tending to tiny dishes until something familiar jarred him from his work. Licking at his fat fingers, the obese and massive figure shifted, dragging his hands slowly across his apron. The massively oversized apron having the words '#1 Grandpa' stitched into it with a crude little smiling face. Drooping sags of rollish flesh bubbling whilst he snorted and wheezed, staring at the group. "Intruders, huh?" The butchers knife is slammed into the nearby table where its left to rest. A bit of drool dribbling down his jaw- yet he seemed.. Surprisingly at peace for some reason. His waddling steps rattling the earth whilst he looked towards the group. "I've got food to prepare, so I'll give you all a warning. It's the right thing to do." "I may not like this work, but we'll cleanse the land and fix it right up again... I've had many disagreeances with how the queen does business.. But that doesn't mean I won't do my job." The elderly 'grandfather' adjusted his slacks with a grunt. Smacking his fat jowels together and causing the rolls of fat to jiggle and shake insistantly. They'd been given their warning.. The question is would they choose to leave, or continue with their endevors. What a polite old man!
  39. [08:03:12] Oh yeah, they were distributed masks. Let's avoid easy mode bounties, have this be a fun chase. Anyway, they would all be ready, and it seemed like they had some sort of company.
  40.
  41. "The Greyrot is a substance made of fungi native from Nerebia's digestive system, the plague's essence, and my progenit- ... Tsk."
  42.
  43. And here came the fatso. The god awful sensations coming from that obese monstrosity. And the amount of greyrot in him, and how it distorted his being. Nashandra was sickened by it, though it'd only be expressed by her eyes narrowing at the eyesore before her.
  44.
  45. "Disgusting ... Be careful, he seems capable of surviving despite the Greyrot infesting the area."
  46.
  47. Wielding Wolfsbane, the homunculus' silver being was ready to assault the beast with all her might. Nothing was going to stop her from regaining her 'little ones'.
  48.
  49. "We will not turn back. No. That is absolutely not an option."
  50. (Nashandra)
  51. [08:07:28] He would wear the mask with his hat atop it, beard sticking out the bottom.
  52.
  53. "So its mushrooms from the dead gods stomach? Damn, neat. Alright, thats a good enough description for me, we live in a magical world, I'm willing to believe quite a bit."
  54.
  55. "So should be burn him? I'm a master of fire magic and I'm nearly a master of Shadowflame, I could light that sucker up and be done with it. Though I assume we'll probably need to fight him first, regardless, I could burn him."
  56.
  57. When he heard that they would not be turning back he would simply shrug and nod, activating his shadowflame aura and readying himself for combat if it would come.
  58. (Yorrick)
  59. [08:10:52] There were many things that often shocked or confused the Fey.
  60.
  61. A Chimera infested old man consuming Greyrot was certainly one of them.
  62.
  63. Harkon blinks, observing his surroundings outside of the narrow field of view the Rift afforded. They were facing a wall, though there was something them. As the Rift closes behind them, the old man is revealed. Harkon turns around, his eyes lingering on the barrels where the Greyrot writhes in discomfort. Why any creature would see fit to consume something so toxic was beyond him.
  64.
  65. Humans...
  66.
  67. "... Like I said; Let's be quick." There appeared to be no Guards around them for the moment. This might have been a good opportunity, short of something being present that seemed far more dangerous than an Initiate with a metallic sword. He'll have to be dealt with. Quickly, as Harkon suggest.
  68. (Harkon)
  69. [08:11:44] Rhaziel simply glared at the fat man. Underneath his mask, there was a small grin forming. In the apathetic, monotone voice he normally used; he began to speak. "I find myself at a dilema, Dr. Charlie. We could slaughter this abomination, and incinerate him, or.. We could maim him, and use him as a test subject. Interesting.." He surrounded himself with shadowflames, just as Yorrick did.
  70.
  71. His gaze remained fixed upon Fierie, lost in though. How useful they could be as a test subject, and yet.. How dangerous they could be. It was quick the issue. At this point, his mind was racing over countless possibilities; the threats bringing them away from Sanctuary could cause, the aid he could have upon an attempt to uncover a cure for the Chimera Virus.
  72.
  73. Then an idea came to him, making him wonder. They seemed to show signs of both Greyrot and the Chimera Virus, so perhaps it could be possible to crate some form of anti-Chimera strain of Greyrot? His mine was focused upon that, and that alone.
  74. (Rhaziel Vydres)
  75. {NARRATION} That old man certainly had a massive fight in him. For his lumbering size he was.. Frightful. The affliction of both Greyrot and Chimera seemed to shift and mold his body whilst flames of sour fire scorched the downstairs kitchen- all accompanied by variations of occultic magic. Ranging from shadowflame, to Umbretarn, and even Hellstorm. This was completely and utterly unnatural. Even as his heavy crunching step mashed Yorrik into the ground, even when Rhaziel was gripped by waves of dark twisting water and tossed about like a yoyo, the man still managed to keep himself upright.. Until however the blade scraped against his knees... Yet there was no bloodflow- perhaps that was something to be grateful for. Instead pustulant oozing grey-moss dribbled from the wounds, slowly mending and patching it up before he jerks upright and rubs at his jaw in annoyance. "They always pick the hard way.. I'm too old for this." A rasped wheezing breath before his bulky meaty hand was shoved down his throat- There was a series of wretching. Volatile gagging noises before vomit dribbled and lurched from his open mouth. Blackened and grey orbs of slime.. It was.. As if the Chimera and Greyrot had an abominable baby of mossy ooze. The orbs of shallow darkness warbling and wailing in utter agony at their mere existance. He cracks his neck, the flames fade and electricity erupts from his body. Sparking spikes of darkness which rattle the foundation of the temple they'd been making. "Stay. Down."
  76. [08:29:39] Oh boy, this guy was certainly something. Borderline unstoppable as they attacked, as his adipose deposits in his body seemed to tan most of them. Nonetheless, Nashandra soldiered on. Quickly, two of her allies would be pushed back by the monster. But they were certainly not down for the count!
  77.
  78. "Keep focusing on him, he seems to be overexerting himself ... Wait .."
  79.
  80. What a strange thing to witness. The greyrot and whatever this man had in his body mixed to make something completely out of this world. Monsters far different from the drones that lurked these walls. It seemed like they were far from being out of the woods.
  81.
  82. Wolfsbane clutched even moreso, the homunculus silver eyes fixated the repulsive, obese man. Ready to bifurcate him at a moment's notice.
  83.
  84. "If we are capable of crippling him, we should be able to end this in one fell swoop. The legs."
  85. (Nashandra)
  86. [08:31:21] Okay. OKAY. This was a challange.
  87.
  88. The sizable makeshift kitchen afforded plenty of space for the Fairy to zoop around trying to avoid the lashings of various occult elements. But for his human counterparts? It made it difficult for them to avoid much of the abominations attacks, much as they tried. The man appeared to be largely oblivious of Harkon's presence until the end.
  89.
  90. Suppose he noticed a bug was playing tricks on his mind.
  91.
  92. "Uh-- Hey we should PROBABLY not antagonize him or-- Oh who am I kidding." This was only ending in two ways. They are captured, or this man dies. Antagonizing him was the only option the Fey could see. Speaking of seeing things - His body appeared to be utterly infested by the Greyrot. It's moving about his form, reparing damaged tissue.
  93.
  94. Why do these humans only have eyes that can see the offensive or defensive possibilities of the Fungus.
  95.
  96. Is Harkon the only one who can see it's Empathetic properties? Bagh.
  97.
  98. Round two.
  99. (Harkon)
  100. [08:32:12] Yorrick fought hard and he fought well, casting fire spell after fire spell on the large chef monster guy, but in the end he was knocked down, he felt the creature step on him and mash him into the ground. He could possibly be heard muttering, "This is not how I saw my day going."
  101.
  102. When it came time for the next round he would pull himself up and look to the others.
  103.
  104. "Hey guys, I know we're in a building and whatnot, so I'm gonna suggest it before I do it, if this creature is what we can expect to run into in this place, maybe Fullshifting would be a good idea? I mean, not gonna do it right now cause, well, that could go badly, I mean I don't really know if I'd be able to move around."
  105.
  106. "Just a suggestion." He'd then look back to the monsterous chef and lift his sword high in hand, ready for battle.
  107. (Yorrick)
  108. [08:33:04] Rhaziel's eyes were wide open as that gigantic abomination moved.. Relatively quickly. Interesting, indeed, but allowing that interest to dominate his mind would be a fast route to the grave. So, the Occultist got up, surrounded himself with a shroud of Shadowflames again, and glared.
  109.
  110. The blonde-haired Occultist remained silent, simply standing there as mana poured into his arms. It was clear enough that the ferocious lard they were facing was actually ferocious. He redoubled his focus upon them,
  111.
  112. Finally, he started muttering to himself countless hypothesises and theories, as though that was how he calmed himself. What a nerd.
  113. (Rhaziel Vydres)
  114. {NARRATION} The swell of the obese monstrosity bellowed and screeched- for once he was fighting a bit more violently- albeit it seems his attempts at batting at that damned fairy was.. Not going as well as planned. In fact it left him far more open to the strikes from the others- leaving them.. Relatively safe from the mass's heavy handed rage. Soon enough through the flame, blade strikes and occultism he was forced to his knees with a clatter. This time his bulbous body began to spazzm, piles of fatty, chunky flesh falling from his body and splattering against the ground. More sickly molded yet sludge like abominations began to shift and writhe, bubbling upwards to shape around him.. And in the center was an old man- for a moment he is engulfed, but mere seconds later he was free. Vivid black marks streaked across his skin- and his outfit.. He was wearing a smaller variation of it. Adjusting the straps and hat with a small snap of his fingers whilst tendrils of water oozed from his figure. "Making me.. A bit worried.." He'd murmur, saying nothing more.. Although calm, peaceful and not enraged as many Chimera victims, he still lacked that trigger.. That need to 'fear'.
  115. [08:45:52] The swell of the obese monstrosity bellowed and screeched- for once he was fighting a bit more violently- albeit it seems his attempts at batting at that damned fairy was.. Not going as well as planned.
  116.
  117. In fact it left him far more open to the strikes from the others- leaving them.. Relatively safe from the mass's heavy handed rage. Soon enough through the flame, blade strikes and occultism he was forced to his knees with a clatter.
  118.
  119. This time his bulbous body began to spazzm, piles of fatty, chunky flesh falling from his body and splattering against the ground. More sickly molded yet sludge like abominations began to shift and writhe, bubbling upwards to shape around him..
  120.
  121. And in the center was an old man- for a moment he is engulfed, but mere seconds later he was free. Vivid black marks streaked across his skin- and his outfit.. 122.
  123. "Making me.. A bit worried.." He'd murmur, saying nothing more.. Although calm, peaceful and not enraged as many Chimera victims, he still lacked that trigger.. That need to 'fear'.
  124. (Fierie)
  125. [08:48:25] They had to keep on pushing forward. More. More. More. They were doing better, and the beast was losing ground. They had hit a point where they could very much distinguish a shift in the fat man's being. As if he were melting, he would have pieces of himself all over. And in turn, he would have monstrous lackeys to utilize en mass.
  126.
  127. But he was small now, and clearly vulnerable. This was their last push. They could do it. The homunculus would not let her stance falter. Wolfsbane clenched, she was ready to assault the old man, and take what was his once and for all.
  128.
  129. "You will not survive this. The Greyrot is not yours. And as such this place will fall to ruin."
  130.
  131. Cracking her neck, no one could notice the ardent scowl on her visage. Nashandra's patience was warring thin. She wanted her greyrot back, and sabotage the Alliance.
  132. (Nashandra)
  133. [08:48:25] He fought well once more, his main form of attack seemed to be casting area of effect spells that would make the ground around them damaging to the foe, despite not falling this time however the victory would not be his to gain, though he was perfectly happy to simply still be standing this time around.
  134.
  135. The start of this new round was an... interesting one to say the least. He seemingly fell apart, body falling to chunks on the ground.... which then became blob monsters, and the old chef was now standing normally on the ground with his aura on, his former flesh surrounding him as monsters.... this was an interesting day all things considered.
  136.
  137. He'd keep his shadowflame aura activated, ready for the next round, "Alright, this round looks like it might be a bit more difficult, what with the nightmare fuel blob monsters being large in number. Lets just try to hold them off and focus on our main target, and try not to die I guess?"
  138.
  139. "Alright, lets do this."
  140. (Yorrick)
  141. [08:51:50] Oh, he definitely noticed the Bug.
  142.
  143. Whether it was from Harkon's attacks or simply because he spoke out; The Fairy is notably the only one clawing at the walls trying to to avoid Fierie's wrath. Now, Harkon wasn't the strongest Fairy out there, let alone Mage in general. But his skills came clear this day. Harkon was a trickster, Harkon was sassy and snide. But above all else Harkon was quick.
  144.
  145. And incredibly annoying to catch.
  146.
  147. Dancing around the kitchen, landing on whatever surface he could, the utensils and equipment in the room get utterly SMASHED by the hulking beast as it tries to pin him down. All the while Harkon's jumping from surface to surface, screaming each time the Beast goes in for a strike. All in all, it was like trying to use a fly swatter on a fly that just WOULDN'T stay still.
  148.
  149. Multiplied by several thousand.
  150.
  151. "AGH! GO for someone ELSE YOU LUMBERING BAFOON!" He screams with an ear-cutting voice, shrouding himself in as potent a veil as possible. It was someone else's turn to be squished, Harkon's paid his dues.
  152. (Harkon)
  153. [08:51:50] Rhaziel's glare remained fixed upon the old man. He wanted them to die, simple enough. He kept on muttering- soul transference, immortality, the paradoxical nature of morality. It was clear enough that the sudden appearance of more of those monstrous blobs was rather.. Stressful.
  154.
  155. He took a few steps away from Yorrick and Harkon. He was worried, yes, but he was also eager. To incinerate that troublesome thorn. To watch his supple flesh turn to ash. Perhaps it was rather wrathful? Indeed..
  156.
  157. With some effort, he pushed that hatred away from his direct focus. Such thoughts were tasteless, and only served to make him weaker. There was no purpose for such thoughts.
  158.
  159. "Indeed. 'Let's do this.'"
  160. (Rhaziel Vydres)
  161. {NARRATION} The final battle ensued! The weird.. Chimera moldling hybrids warbling against the ground- grotesque pounds of flesh that shifted and trembled with delight. During the battle the mass of undulating flesh- whilst Yorrick was focused upon fighitng the man himself, immediately began to warp and twist around him- allured by his occultism they'd soon crawl and climb, little disjointed limbs- tongues which raked across the flesh and armored clothing. Chewing- nawing, licking. It was filthy, it was disgusting. It'd feel as if his very essence as a magi was being violated and twisted. The little mudlings screeching insistantly in his ear- One would take upon a familiar face, grasping at the side of his head. Did Yorrick know someone? Was he close to anyone? Regardless the shape that the main mudling took was of someone he knew- trusted, and cherished.. Its hand grasping at the corners of his eyes before the seeping ichorish liquid began to ooze around his skull. It threatened to break and snap before- Before Rhaziel accidentally played hero, because let's face it Rhaz would never be a true hero. The scorching flames ripping away the dark disgusting hybrid abominations. Yet the damage would be done... For the next five years, Yorrick feels the ache of his leylines. His magic is not as strong as it once was.. ((-5 Mdamage nerf for the next 5 years.)) However, it seems that burning away chubby mc-chubbersteins lard lumps enraged the now slender and elderly man- whilst he was trying to hold both Nashandra and Harkon at Bay, his attention turned to focus on Rhaziel. Whips of water, blood began to seep through his vision- boiling him to the core before- Before he was promptly crucified by jagged spikes of occultic and greyish tainted blood, jerking him against the wall and dragging him along it- leaving a bloodied smear before tossing him into one of the tables with a loud crash! His energy had been siphoned, giving the chef a bit more time to focus... ((-5 Perm mdamage nerf to Rhaziel. Srry. Can be deved and fixed tho.)) Or so he thought! He whipped around only to meet the gaze of the doppleganger, eyes widening in surprise.. Yet once 'killed' however she did it, his body seemed to melt and seep into the floor, hand outstretched gasping for air... His last words being: "Four days.. From retirement..."
  162. {NARRATION} The group is free to.. Trudge about- it seems that they were so deep below the temple work that the sound of the major construction above meant they were left alone, for now.. Though who knows when a Guard might get hungry and start seeking out a snack! There is plenty of Fluffy food to grab. Or samples of both Chimera, and Greyrot if one desires. However any notes that once resided in Sanctuary is.. unavailable. It seems that someone took them ages ago.
  163. [09:17:26] Her allies were definitely fighting tooth and nail to end this. And for that, Nashandra was grateful. And she would fight back accordingly, providing the support needed. It seemed like Rhaziel had the worst time, while Yorrick and Harkon held their own. Nonetheless, she had to do something.
  164.
  165. Once an opening was made, and the beast focused onto Rhaizel, he'd fail to notice just how close Nashandra had gotten. Before he could react in his already pitiful state, he would find his chest and abdomen all pierced and impaled by four large appendages, scaley and grey, lifting him up and sapping the remaining life out of the monstrous being.
  166.
  167. As he melted, Nashandra inhaled deeply, feeling the essence of the greyrot that had seeded itself into him magnetized by the tentacles she had given the coup the grace with. Said limbs would then suddenly aim downwards, and all of them would drill into the stone ground before planting themselves completely.
  168.
  169. "We are not done. The Greyrot will not attack, but there will be soldiers with us soon. The eastern wall is the closest to the ocean. Compromising it will enable a massive scale flood that will surely sabotage the operations going on here."
  170.
  171. As she gave this command, it seemed like she as pinned in place. A good observe could notice small throbbing on ther appendages, as if something was travelling through them. Nashandra was siphoning the remaining essence of the greyrot's accumulated power, completing her fragmented own.
  172.
  173. A silver-like aura was becoming more and more distinguishable around the homunculus, and the foul influence emanating from it would be quite the sinister sight to behold.
  174. (Nashandra)
  175. [09:25:07] During the fight he'd be struck with a rather unnerving experiance. He felt the blobs begin to twist and crawl upon him, holding him in place, to say it was uncomfortable would be an understatement to say the least.
  176.
  177. He struggled to the best of his ability to fend the creatures off but they persisted and he could feel his very essence as a magi being violated and twisted about, he felt and heard them screeching into his ears and then he saw the one in front of his face.
  178.
  179. It took on a form of someone he knew, someone he was quite close too with a hand on the side of his face. But that was impossible, she was long dead. Yet despite that fact, he still found himself going to speak. "Mo-"
  180.
  181. Quickly Followed by a screech of his own as the liquid spread around his head and he could feel pressure building around his skull, threatening to break and snap at it. Though thankfully Rhaziel was here, ah, what a true hero.
  182.
  183. He felt the creature burn away and he would stumble back gasping, his leylines ached and he felt magically weaker, it wasn't pleasant. He'd look to the others after the fight was over, "This shit is crazy." Is all he would say to sum up what just happen to him.
  184.
  185. "Uh, yeah. Lets go break that wall or whatever, then get the fuck out of here. This place is.... Kraus that was horrible." He'd shake his head and sigh, simply wanting to get this over with.
  186. (Yorrick)
  187. [09:28:32] Harkon was more trouble than he was worth.
  188.
  189. The Cook, now more monster than man, changes his target. The jumping Fairy left sitting on a random pan on the shelf, staring at what he thought to be the next assault. Only, it wasn't him being attacked this time; It was one of the humans. "Thank Nature..." He mutters to himself as he flings himself off the surface and back into the air. The resulting battle was harder than the last.
  190.
  191. But Harkon wasn't the object of it's ire, this time.
  192.
  193. Nashandra takes it into her hands as the monstrosity is beaten. Harkon watches with only a minor grimace as the act is done, leaving nothing more than limbs on the floor. The Aura that begins to form over the Doppelganger can be seen. But so few could feel such an influence, akin to those of the Neries themselves. What good could come from unleashing something tainted by the Dreamers Influence?
  194.
  195. Eh, a problem for a later date.
  196.
  197. "Do what you will. Just ensure nothing of note is recoverable." Everything of value in this place has likely been long since pilfered. All that remains is a Husk of the Inquisitions memory.
  198. (Harkon)
  199. [09:30:14] Rhaziel just kind of.. Laid on the ground. He could feel that he was weaker. Having been rather brutalized by the abomination left him laying on that broken table, staring at the ceiling. It finally dawned upon him that he didn't really stand a chance.
  200.
  201. He heard Nashandra's words, but didn't respond for a few moments. When he did, he simply stood up- walking towards the western wall. "I will attempt to destroy it, although I doubt I can do it." His tone of voice was.. Different from that apathy from before. It was more contemplative.
  202.
  203. With that, he stood next to the wall, thinking. A Shadow Cannon could perhaps damage it. Or, perhaps an explosive Shadowflame spell? He could try both once Nashandra was done with whatever she was doing.
  204. (Rhaziel Vydres)
  205. [09:37:55] The majority of the Greyrot's hive-like essence was assimilated by Nashandra. While she still didn't actually control it as Charlie did, she was re-united with it, and cemented herself as the queen. Tentacles would unroot themselves, and slowly retreat into the lass' lower back. Her eyes were closed as her body stiffened, with slow inhales being more noticeable than usual.
  206.
  207. "Simply ... Crack the foundation. The pressure will do the rest."
  208.
  209. An easy task to do, something a couple of shadow cannons could achieve, and if really in need, they had a fullshifter!
  210.
  211. "We're done here. Mister Harkon, the rift, please."
  212.
  213. When the foundation would be compromised, they could indeed leave. She certainly was ready too. Once her eyes opened, her pupils hadn't truly changed, though one could see it deep down. There was something quite awful lucking behind them.
  214.
  215. "Mister Yorrick. Mister Rhaziel. I apologize for your afflictions. However, do know that this is going to definitely pay off."
  216. (Nashandra)
  217. [09:42:11] Yorrick would look to the wall and in order to help crack it he would let out a might stream of fire, blasting into the wall with much force. He'd then simply look back to the others as Nashandra ordered a rift and he'd ready himself to leave.
  218.
  219. Though he was a bit worried, this would mean they had just breached the peace treaty with Nostvale.... ah fuck, did Yorrick just help screw over Cinderfall? He would visibly facepalm and shake his head with a sigh.
  220.
  221. When he was told that things would payoff he'd simply shrug and wait to see what happened next, if they'd simply be returning to Cinderfall.
  222. (Yorrick)
  223. [09:49:00] This was a place Ailyth claimed as her own, once upon a time.
  224.
  225. Harkon felt no pity for the building, it has long since lost the secrets that drew his Eyrean counterpart towards it. But part of Harkon felt a kinship to this place, it didn't make much sense to him on the surface. But this was a place where Ailyth kepts secrets she only dared share to those she trusted. As with all Humans, her trust was violated in the end.
  226.
  227. Sanctuary stood as the largest beacon of Ailyth's failures.
  228.
  229. "Coming up." Several seconds of silence are supersceeded by the discharge of purple lightning within the air. A tear forms before them, linking the group towards their destination. "This will be up to you lot to finish. I'll keep the Rift open." Harkon moves forward and passes through the threshold. He watches from the other side, staring at the Group as they do what must be done.
  230.
  231. "... All things wither and die." And memories fade to dust.
  232. (Harkon)
  233. [09:49:52] Rhaziel gave an idle shadowcannon into the wall, followed by an array of fire magics hitting the same spot. It managed to create a crack; which would eventually break the wall. It seems his doubt was purposeless.
  234.
  235. Once that was done, he moved next to Nashandra, staring at the ground. He was still thinking about how weak he truly was. It was infuriating. Perhaps he would have to force himself to seek out further power?
  236.
  237. Nevermind that, at the moment. He walked through Harkon's rift, still rather silent. He was lost in his thoughts for the most part, after all.
  238. (Rhaziel Vydres)
  239. {NARRATION} A group of guards were on their way to lunch! Feire was a pretty good cook, even if he was gross- however once they had arrived the place was an utter.. Mess. With no signs of their beloved 'Number One Grandpa' chef at the helm either! Panic ensues and whilst they were rushing they're met with the slow cracking of the wall- and the pulsating power of the rift. Of course, the masked individuals were seen- and the Fairy. Did the Fairy wear a mask? Who knows! Either way a sidelong seen before they vanished into thin air... And with it the wall began to rumble. Cracks forming thinly along it, streams of water filtering through it. Although a few tried to rush towards the rift, others were however shouting. "Get the earthen magi- get the earthen magi quick qui-" The last sight the terrorists would see was the wall buckling and cracking beneath the weight whilst a few guards retreated, the rush of water soon bursting through the seams like a broken down dam. It wouldn't halt work upon Sanctuary, but it would certainly hinder it- the collapsing of the basements foundations and inner workings no easy task to fix- even for magi...
