- If an opponent has a taunt lead, don't lead smeargle, since it doesn't have magic coat. This is because I would rather prevent setup than cause a 50/50 for getting up hazards. Instead, when the opponent has a taunt lead, lead M-Lopunny. Smeargle can come in later on a tangrowth or defensive lando. But it is important to note that this team doesn't rely on webs, so it isn't a huge deal. The webs make these two pokes easier to handle: magearna and marshadow. If you don't have webs up and the opponent brings in shift gear magearna, the answer is to switch directly into Marshadow, as it will eat any non-fairy hit and steal the shift gear boosts. Mimikyu's z-move will always kill opposing marshadow, even before a boost, so save the disguise if you lose webs. If webs are up, however, neither of these will be as much of an issue. Have fun!
