  7. STORY
  8. On a far-flung planet, a highly-advanced alien race is locked in a bitter dispute - both the Rubic and Sapphion families claim the right to the crown. In order to prevent civil war, these aliens have created the Inter-Universal Champion Colosseum, an anual event that pits two teams of fighters from different worlds against each other in battles and other challenges. Each team is managed by an important figure in the Rubic or Sapphion monarchy, and the family who wins is granted the throne for a year. But this year, there is more to the tournament than meets the eye, as the Champions unwillingly dragged into this conflict are to discover...

  10. GAMEPLAY
  11. - Up to 4 players.
  12. - Objective is to defeat other players either by knocking them out of the arena or using a super.
  13. - Movement on 2D plane. Characters can run and perform double jumps.
  14. - Four attack buttons: Light, Medium, Heavy and Special. Medium and Heavy attacks can be aimed up and down.
  15. - Combo system akin to Darkstalkers/MvC3. Infinite Avoidance System to prevent infinites.
  16. - Special Attacks - these use the Special Attack button.
  17. - Three-tiered Super Bar.
  18. - Level 1: Enhanced Attack. A more powerful version of a Special Attack with unique properties.
  19. - Level 2: Super Attack. A powerful attack that targets a single opponent.
  20. - Level 3: Final Smash. Multiple opponents can be killed by this.

  42. - NANCY-MI847J (Tekken): A siege robot manufactured by the Mishima Zaibatsu. Loaded to the teeth with weapons, this machine is not to be trifled with.
  43. - Fierce Deity/Evil Cole (Legend of Zelda/InFamous): These characters were forced to transform into their destructive forms by the aliens controlling them.

  46. - Capsule (Super Smash Bros.): Holds one random item, released when broken.
  47. - Nanotech Crate (Rachet and Clank): Contains random items, which are released upon breaking.
  48. - Cape Feather (Super Mario Bros.): Holding up allows character to float down.
  49. - Boots of Hermes (God of War): Major speed boost to character wearing them, but loss of traction.
  50. - Pokeball (Pokemon): Releases a random Pokemon when thrown.
  51. - Plasmids (Bioshock): Random effect.
  52. - Lighting: Increased attack range and speed.
  53. - Fire: Increased attack power, but slows movement.
  54. - Ice: Random chance of freezing opponent.
  55. - Bees: Player is followed by a swarm of bees that attack nearby opponents.
  56. - Warp Star (Kirby): Character flies up and slams down onto stage, damaging anyone caught in the blast radius.
  57. - Hedgehog Grenade (Resistance): Timed bomb that explodes in a shower of spikes, disabling use of supers.
  58. - Heart Container (Legend of Zelda): Restores large portion of health.
  59. - Food (Bioshock): Restores small portion of health.
  60. - Super Scope (Nintendo): Rapidly tap to fire, hold to charge a large shot.
  61. - RPG-7 (Uncharted): Powerful cannon with limited ammo.
  62. - Fire Flower (Super Mario Bros.): Releases a burning flame that hits multiple times.
  63. - Freeze Missile (Twisted Metal): A powerful weapon that freezes enemies, leaving them open.
  64. - Home-Run Bat (Earthbound): Increaes attack power, chance of Instant K.O. from Heavy Strike.
  65. - Beam Claws (Rachet and Clank): Fast melee weapons that allow for multiple strikes.
  66. - COMBOT (Tekken): COMBOT follows the player a short distance, attacking nearby enemies and collecting items.
  67. - Three Sacred Treasures (Kid Icarus): Collect all three of these for a major boost! But beware - others will try and gather them as well!

  69. STAGES
  70. - Champion Colosseum (Original): Large stadium featuring cameos between both sides. Audience throws items into the ring.
  71. - Mushroom Festival (Super Mario Bros./Doko Demo Issyo): A battle set outside Peach's castle. Fighters jump between floats based on both francises.
  72. - Hyrule Under Siege (Legend of Zelda/InFamous): Hyrule Castle under siege by rampaging Conduits. The Beast throws fireballs at the stage, and Zelda makes an appearance.
  73. - Party at Yoshi's (Yoshi/PaRappa the Rapper): Multiple islands, various characters partying on central island. Changing weather affects stage layout.
  74. - The War in Space (Metroid/Killzone): The Helgahst and the Galactic Federation duke it out! Samus' ship drops items from time to time.
  75. - Demolition Derby (F-Zero/Twisted Metal): Giant racing stadium featuring cameos from F-Zero and Twisted Metal. Cars can leap over the stage or attack with missiles.
  76. - Underworld Civil War (Kid Icarus/God of War): Clash between the Underworld Armies and Hades' undead minions. Either Hades or Medusa will appear and attack the stage.
  77. - The Galaxy (Original): Final stage, where the final boss is fought.

  80. - Single Player Modes:
  81. - Story: Follow the story that brought these two sides into conflict!
  82. - Classic: Fight your way through opponents until you reach the final boss!
  83. - Event Match: Complete specific objectives to clear the stage!
  84. - Multi-Man Melee: Defeat the Combots!
  85. - Break the Targets: Destroy all the targets in the stage!
  86. - Boss Rush: How many bosses can you stand against? (Unlocked by beating Story Mode)
