Handed towards her was what appeared to be a normal 12 inch by 12 inch box. Wrapped in a bright pink paper with crisp edges. There was no bow, ribbons or card attached towards it. However, where the edges were taped it was not held together by the normal house hold scotch tape. Instead, it was taped by thick duct tape. Leaving no edges without coverage and a real treat to try to open. Within that box, was another slightly smaller box. This time it was wrapped in a glittery yellow. No bows or frills - just the same thick ductape. As that was opened, you can image what came next. A third smaller dictator mess of a box but the wrapping paper was a Dora the Explorer themed paper. Six boxes within one another, the smaller they got the harder they were to open. All the way down to the final small handheld sized box that had no paper at all. It was simply a box covered with several layers of the duct tape as before. However when that one opened was a small folded over paper with her name written in capitalized letters across the top of it.

I’m sure you have said that several times trying to get through my handy work of wrapping. Well my relationship with you is much like that. Annoying, hard to handle and frustrating. These would all typically be phrases directed towards a toxic relationship but it’s the exact opposite. Annoying because of how badly I want to just squeeze you until your eyes pop out of sockets. Hard to handle because for once, I have somebody who can keep up with my wit and I actually want to try to impress rather than coast on. Frusteratif because there will never be a way for me to express just how much you mean to me.
Next up - find the one person you would describe those words to growing up. The one person you had to choice but know the longest.
