  1. Alexithymiaa: -Jade stood in front of a rack of comics, her hand propped up underneath her chin as she studied the selection carefully.-
  2. Covet: -Eli was standing at the counter with his phone out, organizing his pokemon on his screen before he gave up and closed out the app. Seeing Jade still staring at the comic rack, he walked over and double checked to make sure she didn't need anything.- Finding anything you can't live without? -he asked her with a chuckle, straightening a few of the comics.-
  3. Alexithymiaa: -She tore her gaze from the rack when Eli walked over, pursing her lips a moment before starting in. "I can't make up my mind. Between Midnighter and Monstress."-
  4. Tsaaq: Bliss rolled from the bathroom with the cleaning supplies. She saw Jade and Eli, pursed her lips and kept rolling towards the counter to put the bucket underneath.
  5. Covet: Well if you're asking me, I'd go with Monstress, because it's not DC. However, Midnighter is on sale this month because it DC. I like the art in Monstress it's different from your normal comic book style. -He told her then suggested- Why not get them both? -He looked over and saw Bliss, giving her a wave.-
  6. Covet: *it is
  7. Alexithymiaa: "I'm trying to limit the comics I've been buying lately. I have... a lot." She sighed, reaching forward to pick up Monstress from the rack. "I'm not really all that concerned with what's on sale."-
  8. Tsaaq: She looked up at Eli and gave an apprehensive because ew Jade. She unknowingly kept her disgusted expression as she lingered at the counter, going on her iPad and doing event things.
  9. Covet: -Eli chuckled and shook his head- There's no such thing as too many comics. It's like owning books, but they take up less space so you can have more. I'd say go with Monstress, if you are looking to only get one. But...speaking of DC... I know you are a cosplayer...we're having a DC cosplay night, next tuesday. You should come. -He said- Let me go to the counter and get you a flyer real quick. -Eli walked across the shop over to Bliss who was by the counter.- Can you hand me a flyer for the cosplay event. I was letting Jade know about it and was going to give her one. What's with the face? -He said seeing her disgusted look, raising an eyebrow-
  10. Alexithymiaa: "Oh, yeah I saw on squawks..." She mumbled as he walked away, dropping her eyes down to stare at the cover of the comic in her hands as she waited patiently for him to return.-
  11. Tsaaq: Bliss frowned widely and picked up one of the flyers, hurriedly placing it on the counter and sliding it over to him. "Sorry, I get sickened whenever she's around." She whispered with a shake of her head. "You're inviting her so we can make some capital right? Not because you geniunely enjoy her company?" Bliss asked quietly.
  12. Covet: Oh, I'm sorry. -He said then looked back over at her- I barely know her enough to know whether or not I genuinely enjoy her company. -He said with a shrug taking the paper- But, it's for any and all sales and business that I can garner of course. -He said to her, walking around to press a kiss to the top of her head, then pulled his phone out of his pocket, sending off a text to his Dad.-
  13. Alexithymiaa: -She studied the comic in her hand before looking back over at the rack and grabbing Midnighter as well, giving in to purchasing them both before turning around and heading toward the counter. "I changed my mind."-
  14. Tsaaq: "Uh huh." Bliss grumbled, sounding unconvinced then lowered her gaze to the iPad. She looked up when hearing Jade's voice and rolled from behind the counter, pretending to be busy.
  15. Covet: -Eli gave Bliss a quizical look, then turned his attention, as Jade walked over with both comics in hand- I knew it was too good of a deal to pass it up. -He walked over to the register to get her rang up for both comics, giving her, her total- He slid the flyer across the counter to her.- Here's that too... -He looked back down at his phone and sent another message off-
  16. Alexithymiaa: -She pulled her credit card from her purse, sliding it across the counter toward him and taking the flyer to examine it. "Yeah... I'll probably be there, I guess. I'll have to figure out a cosplay."-
  17. Tsaaq: "Just make sure you RSVP online or we won't let you in." Bliss called out in a monotone but kept her eyes on her iPad.
  18. Covet: Yeah, there is that. There's going to be some door prizes and a best cosplay prize -He added then groaned- Yeah I still need to do that too. I don't know who I want to dress up as. I've been procrastinating... -he said trying to make general conversation with the girls, then felt his phone go off again-
  19. Alexithymiaa: "Oh... I didn't know you needed to RSVP..." She said in a small voice, collecting her bag of comics. "Do you know what anyone else is cosplaying yet?"-
  20. Tsaaq: She pursed her lips. "You'd know if you went to event page and actually read it." Bliss said curtly. "And you've been to these events before, almost everyone will be cosplaying." She explained, sounding unamused.
  21. Covet: Uh... To be fair.. I kind of forgot to put that info on the flyer. -Eli said sheepishly, internally groaning to himself for messing up- But yeah, it helps us with the numbers if you RSVP on the event page. I'm not sure who anyone is going as, but you can probably assume there will be a few batmans, Jokers, Harleys, and Supermans there. -He gave a faint smile, trying to counter act Bliss's cold tone.-
  22. Tsaaq: ((She didn't say the flyer she said the event page online!))
  23. Alexithymiaa: "I would never cosplay any of those characters anyway so..." She trailed off, pushing her hair over her shoulder and glancing to Bliss. "Okay... what's with the attitude? I was just asking..."-
  24. Covet: [Yeah...but he didn't say anything about the event page on the flyer...and having to RSVP on the flyer.. XD]
  25. Tsaaq: "It aids in proficiency. That's what happens when you have a job and you desire to better yourself." Bliss scoffed a little. "Really think about it, unless you're actually as shallow and self centered as I presumed that can not see why I wouldn't enjoy your company." She replied in a monotone.
  26. Tsaaq: ((It's 2016 Eli you don't have to put it on a flyer smfh.))
  27. Covet: [XD But really it should be there. ]
  28. Covet: [Flyers really shouldn't need to exist anymore... but yeah. He still writes everything down in notebooks... and then loses the pages. ]
  29. Covet: I bet you'll find something good. -Eli looked at the girls and furrowed his brow as they spoke to eachother. He opened and closed his mouth, not sure what to say at this point, before turning back to the register.-
  30. Alexithymiaa: "Wow, okay what is your problem? I thought we were friends. I've never even done anything to you." She crossed her arms over her chest, scowling deeply.-
  31. Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head slowly. "We were never friends, Jade. I was just being polite. I'm really starting to think that people continously miscontrue my decency for actual friendship." She said, scrunching up her fact. "You mistreat one of my closest friends and expect no consequence for your actions. You so childishly out somebody on social media. You're despicable. I would never be friends with someone like you. Ever. You have no redeemable qualities and further more you expect the world to treat you right when you're part of the problem. You make me want to throw up." Bliss scoffed.
  32. Covet: -Eli was doing his best to ignore the situation at hand, because he didn't really know much of the situation that'd caused this rift between them. He cleared his throat, thankful that the shop was fairly empty for the night.-
  33. Alexithymiaa: "I..." She started to speak, and quickly closed her mouth. She dropped her eyes down to look at the bag in her hands, saying nothing as she turned away from the counter abruptly and moved as fast as she could through the shop to the front door. Stepping outside, she exhaled the breath she'd been unknowingly holding, pulling out her phone to call for a cab as she struggled not to cry.-
  34. Tsaaq: Bliss watched Jade leave the store and went to put the iPad under the counter in her bag then rolled away so she could wipe down the counters. "I can't believe you." She scolded Eli as she rolled past the counter.
  35. Covet: -He sighed as he watched Jade leave the building, then turned his head to Bliss- Me? What did I do? -He said totally baffled-
  36. Tsaaq: "You didn't take my side back there. You made me look like a bitch and I'm not being a bitch. is it so horrible to want to surround yourself with good people? The last time I checked the answer was no." Bliss ranted as she angrily wiped the tables.
  37. Covet: I didn't know there was a side to take. I don't know her... or the situation between you guys really. I wasn't trying to make you look like that at all. What was I supposed to say? -He asked her, giving a sigh as he rubbed his hand over his face-
  38. Tsaaq: "You mean to tell me you didn't see that atrocity on squawks?" She asked him with her eyebrows furrowed. "And it doesn't matter. You take my side. I don't care if you don't know her. You don't have any intution? You can't tell that I'm usually uneasy around her?" Bliss interrogated.
  39. Covet: Oh I did see it. But I didn't just see she was the only one at fault in all of that. And I'm surprised you, as a feminist aren't equally as angry with Ozzie. -He said trying to explain himself, then grumbled- I know that you don't like her, believe me, you have made that very clear on many occasions. But whatever is between the two of you, needs to be worked out between the two of you. You know I support you, I just don't know enough to be effective as another pawn on your side. -Eli started to count down the till, getting the closing started.-
  40. Tsaaq: Bliss scoffed and held her hand up at him. "Stop right there." She said. "Yes he was wrong, yes that was also awful. But do you know that two wrongs DON'T make a right?" She said sternly. "Futhermore just like I said. I don't care how ANGRY you are at somebody you don't out their sexuality on social media he can never take that back if he is gay. She robbed him of that. And that is disgusting." She shook her head, getting a little red in the face. "There is nothing to be worked out. I don't like her. I don't want her around me so I don't feel the need to fix anything. You are not supporting me where it counts. And sorry to say that's when it matters." She said, rolling towards the door.
  41. Covet: Are you as equally mad at Cadence then too? Because I'm baffled by what the scale of attrocity is when Misogyny is overlooked because someone was outed for their sexuality. Both of them suck and it's because of that, that I back out because like you, I don't want to be around people like that. I'm going to put on my employee face and give my best business service, like I would to anyone else. -He looked at her, seeing how angry she was- I'm sorry this girl infuriates you so much that she's got you worked up like this. How could I have been more supportive in that situation? Chimed in and said the occasional "Yeah" behind your back? -He asked trying to think of what else he could have done.-
  42. Tsaaq: "I am. But I don't actively see Cadence but of course I am. I'm livid." Bliss replied loudly. "It is not overlooked but look at how much worse being outed in a horrible environment. You don't understand because you're a straight cisgendered male. You don't HAVE to come out to anyone. You don't understand how hard that can be for a person. That's why you think him calling her a bitch and her outing him on social media is somehow the same. It isn't. She can ignore him. She can be the bigger person. He can't ignore something like that." She argued. "You're just ignorant. Educate yourself." Bliss scoffed before furrowing her eyebrows at him. "You know what?" She shook her head slowly. "I'm just going to call Drew, and he'll drive me home. And I'll stay there. And I can keep my outrage to myself. Because apparently nobody wants to listen to the voice of reason or objectivity ever. So I'm just wasting my breath." She said softly taking out her cellphone and turning away.
  43. Covet: You're very right, and there is no amount of yelling and hate that is going to help me learn that. However I do know that some people can be pretty naive about their own actions, so I'm sorry that I'm choosing to back down and let them be ignorant, because the consequences of that are bad enough, from everyone else without my help. -He sighed and closed the till -If you feel like that's what you need then I won't stop you. As I've somehow become the source of your irritation, to the point where you need to point out to me my own straight male fate, thus further reminding me that I am forever inadequate, and uneducated. That all aside, I love you...and I hope your night isn't plagued with all of this. -He said looking at her, basically giving in at this point, because he knew there wasn't anything he could say that would change her mind, otherwise, without him straight up lying to her.-
  44. Tsaaq: She slowly shook her head and sighed loudly. "She isn't naive she's a stifle on human behavorial progession." Blis murmured angrily. "It's not what I feel I need. It's what I know I need. Everything is always better when I'm alone.
  45. Tsaaq: ((Fuckkkk enter.))
  46. Tsaaq: She slowly shook her head and sighed loudly. "She isn't naive she's a stifle on human behavorial progession." Bliss murmured angrily. "It's not what I feel I need. It's what I know I need. Everything is always better when I'm alone. I know you love me, but it really has nothing to do what we're talking about right now." She held her phone to her ear and rolled out of the comic book shop, saying nothing else to him as she went to wait for Drew to pick her up so she could head to her dad's house.
  47. Covet: -Eli nodded his head and pursed his lips, while his brain worked on what was going to need to change for him to swing tomorrow- Okay. Goodnight... -he said as she walked out of the shop and he continued to get the rest of the closing done, making sure she got off safely before he went upstairs to put his plans together.-
