QUESTION (From Prince T.)

1. “If God never wishes anyone to go into a supposed HELL FIRE, He would not have created it in in the first place, Can’t He deal with the Devil alone now? Why didn’t He deal with the Devil once and for all when thE Devil rebelled? Why is God waiting for so many people to fall into the trap of the Devil so that they will be condemned with the Devil?”

2. “On the idea of Free Will, why did God give men Free Will knowing vividly that they will either choose between good and evil? Why didn’t He present us with a single option of “Good” only without a choice of Evil? For instance if you have a baby, as a mother when your daughter is about 10 years old, will you present her with these two options:

(i) Sweet Milk (Good)

(ii) Sweet Milk with DDT (Evil)

And then ask her to choose one to drink since she is of age and has a Free Will? You will never do that! So, why do we think that a Good God gave man the options of Good and Evil, for man to choose one and suffer punishment after a certain Judgement Day?”

ANSWER:

Prince thanks for your question. But as humans who are very limited in everything and who live in spiritual poverty, we must be very cautious in our speech which goes against the Almighty God. This is because no one can question the intelligence of the Divine Creator whose “counsel of old are FAITHFULNESS and TRUTH (Isaiah 25:1).

If we don’t understand something, it is good to ASK in a polite way so that the Spirit of the One whom we cannot fathom will lead us to the TRUTH. There is no way for any human to be WISER than God. Do you think that God doesn’t know what He did? The Scripture says this about God: “With whom did He take COUNSEL, and who INSTRUCTED Him, and taught Him in the path of JUSTICE? Who taught Him KNOWLEDGE and showed Him the way of UNDERSTANDING?” (Isaiah 40:14).

Therefore whatever the thoughts of man might be, and whether humans think it was WRONG for God to give us a FREE WILL, His Words are there to shut up the mouth of those who question Him and stand against Him. It says, “Because the FOOLISHNESS of God is WISER than men, and the WEAKNESS of God is STRONGER than men” (Romans 1:25). So this is the reality regarding God’s POWER of reasoning which transcends or is far greater in scope than humans standards and intuition which is limited, weak and powerless.

That’s why Apostle Paul, a bondservant of JESUS CHRIST declared, “But indeed, O man, who are you to reply AGAINST God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “WHY have you MADE me like this?” Does not the POTTER have power over the CLAY, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? (Romans 9:20-21).

If a man who is under the dominion of Satanic influence, and who cannot even overcome the Devil by himself, thinks that it was WRONG and UNWISE for God to give man an option of “good and evil,” then he must know that “the FOOLISHNESS of God is WISER” than “his,” and the “WEAKNESS” of God is “STRONGER” than “his.” For this reason, all men must know their limitations and be SUBMISSIVE to the Almighty God, else they will surely burn in the eternal flames where they cannot even open their mouth to utter evil speech.

God said that, “For My THOUGHTS are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My WAYS, says the LORD. For as the Heavens are HIGHER than the Earth, so are My WAYS higher than your ways, and My THOUGHTS higher than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9). This passages teaches us that our “thoughts” about God as humans is very limited. Due to this, we must HUMBLE ourselves when it comes to how we try to perceive the doings of the Almighty Creator.

JESUS tells us clearly that “HELL” was not created initially for humans, but for Satan and his host of angels who rebelled against God in attempt to overthrow Him and usurp Him from His throne in Heaven (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:14-17). That’s why concerning the JUDGMENT DAY, the Lord JESUS said, “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting FIRE prepared for the Devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41).

We can therefore understand from the above passage that God didn’t create the “everlasting FIRE” for humans. However because humans themselves also follow and obey the Devil more than the Creator, it is based on His “JUSTICE” that when He throws Satan into the “FIRE,” then all those who also stood against Him by joining Satan and walking in his footsteps will also be thrown into the “FIRE” which is prepared for their master who is the forerunner of stubborn people like them.

God created human beings in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26). He didn’t create them as robots or automatons which must be controlled in a mechanical way. That’s why He gave them a FREE WILL. That’s why He said, “I call heaven and earth as witness today against you, that I have set before you LIFE and DEATH, BLESSING and CURSING; therefore CHOOSE life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19). In other words, God gave man the power of volition which is the conscious capability of choice, decision and intention. God tells us that He saw everything He has made, and “indeed it was VERY GOOD” (Genesis 1:31).

When God created man and place him in the garden of Eden, He revealed to them this power of volition which they have. God told hem, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17).

So is it WRONG for God to show you what is “good” an what is “bad?” And is it WRONG if He tells you to “CHOOSE” what is “good” which is “The Tree of LIFE?” (Genesis 2:9). Adam and Eve who are our first ancestors, did not even utter a single word against God regarding this FREE WILL which was given to them. But it is so unfortunate that some of his descendants such as atheist and infidels are questioning the foreknowledge of God and His divine JUDGMENT which is based on His holy JUSTICE.

That’s why the Apostle Paul said, “But indeed, O man, who are you to REPLY against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you MADE me like this? Does not the POTTER have power over the CLAY, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor” (Romans 9:19-20).

Prophet Isaiah also said, “Surely you have things turned around! Shall the POTTER be esteemed as the CLAY; For shall the thing made say of him who made it, “He did not MAKE me”? Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has NO understanding”? (Isaiah 29:16). This passage is asking whether human beings who are creatures have the right to tell the Creator that He did not “MAKE” them well. Can they say that God has “NO understanding” when He positioned the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden?

As a humans who were created by God with the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7), we have no bases and we have no right to QUESTION the deeds and integrity of the divine Almighty Creator. If God gives man an option of good and evil, does it mean “He has NO understanding”? Do you think like that? If this is your reaction, then you must turn around because those who respond this way will surely burn in hell FIRE.

Also when you read Isaiah 49:9, the Holy Word of God says, “Woe to him who strives with his MAKER! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the CLAY say to him who forms it, “What are you making?” Or shall your HANDIWORK say, “He has no hands?” The word, “Woe” is a curse. Therefore anybody who continues in his atheistic assertion by speaking against God will receive the eternal PUNISHMENT that is due. When that person dies and his soul goes to hades, he will see where power lies.

When God revealed His omnipotence and power to Job, he answered the LORD in HUMILITY by saying, “Behold, I am VILE; What shall I answer You? I LAY my hand over my mouth. Once I have spoken, but I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further” (Job 40:4-5). Therefore just like Job, every atheist and infidel must also “LAY” his hand “over” his “mouth” and keep silence just like how how a child does before his father in fear. Those who speak against the intelligence of God Almighty must know that they are “VILE” and should “proceed no further,” else God will destroy them.

Let me also clarified this indispensable point: That is, unless you receive the “REMISSION OF SINS” by believing in the WATER baptism of JESUS through which He took away all your SINS upon Himself from John the Baptist, and you believe in the BLOOD that He shed on the Cross, and in His RESURRECTION, you will never know that God is “LOVE,” and that His “LOVE” is AGAPE and unconditional.

Therefore unless you including the whole of mankind receive this GREATEST BLESSING from God which He gives to everyone free of charge, Satan will plant in you the heart of BITTERNESS towards God which will only send you to the everlasting torment “which burns with FIRE and brimstone is the second DEATH”

I admonish you to know that, “It is a FEARFUL thing to FALL into the hands of the Living God” (Hebrews 10:30).
