Masked Rider Kick Hopper II: Marco Diaz 4!

>It was a few days after the Ponyhead incident and Marco was feeling pretty good. even with his secret identity revealed things mostly stayed the same.
>Except for Hope. Hope now hated him.
>It made sense, he had gotten her father thrown in prison. Even if her father was a scumbag Marco could understand that it would be difficult to adapt to that.
>"This is getting ridiculous" Star moaned as she opened her locker. "Hope's been trying to prank you all dayyyyy" she continued as Marco opened up his locker.
>Stepping out of the way just in time to avoid all his books shooting out of his locker, unfortunately for Sabrina, who was pummeled by the flying lexicons of knowledge.
>"I'm okay" she groaned from under Marco's books.
>Collecting Marco's books (and helping a concussed Sabrina to the Nurse's office) caused both Star and Marco to be late, and the annoyed look on Hope's face upon seeing that Marco was without a scratch more than proved who was behind the flying book fiasco.
>All throughout class Marco could feel Hope's eyes drilling holes in the back of his head, her hateful gaze was soon followed by the dull thuds of folded paper against the back of Marco's hoodie.
>Marco ignored this, to respond would only make it worse, and he hoped Star would understand that. But based on the furious expression she had as she gnawed on her wand, Marco highly doubted it.
>After the last class of the day an obviously annoyed Star pulled Marco aside. "You can't let her keep doing this" Star said in an frustrated voice "and if you don't do something about it, I will!" she declared
>"Star, no." Marco groused, Star's "Help" was the last thing he needed in this situation. this required a delicate hand, something Star couldn't make up for with her boundless enthusiasm.
>"Star, Yes!" she replied matter of factly before running off, Marco tried to give chase, but Star seemed to disappear as soon as she turned the corner. meaning Marco could only hope that things didn't go nuclear in the meantime.
>halfway through his walk home Marco noticed that he was being tailed by a man in a trench coat wearing a wide brimmed hat that kept his face hidden.
>Slipping his hands into his hoodie's pockets, Marco grasped the Hopper Zecter as he turned down a path he knew was a dead end.
>The Mysterious person followed him, only to discover that the path was empty.
>"Change: Kick Hopper" The Hopper Zecter cried from behind the mysterious person causing them to turn on a heel to see the armored Marco blocking the only exit.
>"Who are you, and why are you following me?" Marco demanded, not yet falling into a combat stance.
>The last thing Marco expected was for the man to rip off his coat to reveal what looked like a skeleton themed wrestling outfit.
>With a shrill "EEE!" the Skeleton man lunged at him, throwing a strong punch that Marco easily avoided.
>the followup punch was even quicker than the first, and when Marco blocked it felt like his arm had been hit by a truck!
>'is this guy even human!?' Marco wondered frantically as he continued to dodge the skeleton man's insanely strong attacks.
>Flicking the Hopper Zecter's legs forward Marco shot into the air with a call of "Rider Jump" but in midair he repeated the process, causing his leg to glow with power
>"RIDER KICK!" Marco roared as his foot made contact with the Man's chest and sent him flying into a wall.
>landing gracefully, Marco reassumed his combat stance, unsure if his fierce opponents would be able to continue fighting.
>So it came as a huge shock when the man exploded! Marco was in shock as the smoke cleared, there wasn't even a body left! had he done that!?
>but before his mind could linger on it his cellphone started to ring
>"Y-yes" Marco answered shakily.
>"MARCO! IWASFOLLOWINGHOPEHOMEAND" Star was talking so quickly that Marco could barely understand her.
>"Star, Breath and try to tell me more slowly" Marco said as a sinking feeling began to form in his gut.
>Several deep breaths later Star started to speak again "I was following Hope home and a bunch of weird guys were hanging out around her house!" She explained, still frantic "and one of them knocked her out and dragged her inside!" Star sounded as worried as Marco felt, could this be connected to his attacker?
>Marco was off like a shot, running at full tilt towards Hope's house.
>"Twilight Dragon Inferno!" Star roared as she Blasted one of the Skeleton men with a blazing spell, causing him to explode.
>"RIDER KICK!" Marco roared as he kicked one that had been sneaking up on Star.
>"MARCO!" Star cheered. "What took you so long!" she chided
>"Had to run halfway across town to get here" Marco groaned as he Panted "Where's Hope"
>"She's inside" Star said "I've got these weirdos, you get Hope!" and with that Star blasted another of the men.
>"Right, Marco replied as he ran towards Hope's house, ducking and weaving through the Skeleton men in his path before kicking Hope's door down.
>"Well well well" a gruff masculine voice that made Marco's heart drop to the bottom of his stomach slurred "Looks like I won't have to hunt you down Myself after all" Hope's Father said with a drunken laugh
>"Marco?" a terrified Hope uttered as she cowered next to her unconscious Mother
>"Shaddup!" her Father roared "I'll get to you when I'm done with him" he hissed venomously.
>Turning back to Marco he sneered "To think, I spent three years in the slammer because of some kid!" He said with false humor "But thanks to my new friends, none of that matters" the slur in his speech was gone, replaced with a dark malevolence. "No one's ever going to push me around AGAIN!" He roared as his body began to twist and warp until what stood before him was no longer Hope's Father.
>The Creature stood two heads taller than the man he once was, his spider-like body towering over Marco ominously, it's eight bulbous eyes glowing red.
>"GRAAAAAAAAAH!" it screamed Rushing Marco at speeds he couldn't ever track. Grabbing Marco by the neck and throwing him backwards through the sliding glass door that lead to Hope's back yard.
>Marco groaned as he stood up, his entire body aching. only to be forced to nearly fold in half as the Monster landed a brutal blow to his stomach and knocked the wind out of him.
>The Brutal backhand that followed sent Marco spinning until his back slammed into the fence of Hope's back yard.
>"Dad, No!" Hope screamed as she ran in front of the abomination that had been her father.
>"I SAID SHADDUP!" The Monster roared as it reared back to strike Hope down
>Marco's body moved on it's own, tapping the metal plate on the side of his belt, the words cutting through the fog of pain clouding his mind.
>"Clock. Up." he uttered.
>Hope had closed her eyes, knowing that defending herself would be useless, but when she heard the smack and felt no pain she opened her eyes.
>Light shining off his armor, Marco stood in front of her, her Father's fist caught in his hand.
>"Why don't you pick on someone your own size" Marco said darkly before they both seemed to disappear.
>Time seemed to slow to a crawl for Marco and he and the Monster exchanged blows, but something was different, his opponent's attacks seemed weaker.
>"HOW!?" Hope's Father roared "HOW'RE YOU SO FAST!" it roared as it overextended a punch and left itself open.
>"RIDER JUMP" was the reply it was given, unable to dodge as Marco's feet made contact, Slamming him into the Ground.
>Using him as a footstool Marco jumped even higher before flicking the legs of the Hopper Zecter forward for the second time.
>"RIDER KICK!" he screamed as he descended on the Monster, slamming it even deeper into the ground.
>"Clock over" the Zecter announced as time seemed to return to it's normal pace. as soon as it did, Marco almost crumpled to the ground, but he just barely managed to keep standing.
>"MARCO!" Hope cried as she ran towards him, Catching him in a hug that made him silently seethe in pain.
>"IT'S NOT OVER YET!" the Monster's voice roared causing Hope to release Marco as he turned around.
>The monster was sparking "I'M NOT LOSING TO SOME SNOT NOSED BRAT!" it roared as it's body sparked and twitched "I'M GONNA-" it tried to continue, only to fall to the ground and be consumed in flame.
>Letting out a breath that he didn't realize that he was holding in Marco removed the Hopper Zecter, allowing his armor to recede.
>"Marco!" Hope gasped "You're really hurt!" she cried as she rushed to his side, letting him lean on her for support.
>"This's nothing" Marco lied "Are you okay?" he inquired to the now frantic girl.
>"Why're you being so nice to me!?" She questioned "even though I've been so horrible." she continued
>"because it's the right thing to do" Marco replied with conviction, unaware of the blush that'd formed on Hope's face.
>"MARCO! HOPE! YOU TWO OKAY?" Star yelled as she ran in with her wand raised.
>"We're fine, Star" Marco said, trying to not sound like he was in pain.
>a call to the police later and Star was helping Marco walk home.
CHAPTER 4, COMPLETE!
>"So you say you were attacked by a monster?" the policeman asked
>"Yes Sir" Hope replied honestly
>"And that the Masked Rider saved you?" he asked as a followup as her mother was carted into an ambulance.
>"yeah, he's a real hero, y'know" she said with a light blush appeared on her face
