Futures, Pasts,
Presents and Moments,
From the next yesterday to the last tomorrow,
from twilight of sleep to dawn of morrow,
from memories forgotten and faces lost in the crowd,
from ages past and what will or might have been,
from the dawn of time to the eclipse of eternity,
from sights unseen to stories untold,
from the innumerable wonders of the universe to the man on the street with no home,
from friendships lost to hearts broken,
from all things possible and impossible to Man's present technological limitations,
from the things we have and what we can accomplish to those objects' actual capacities,
from love felt and taken away to those things we could never have,
from how things are to how they should or could be,
from all the glories I have felt and battles I've waged to conflicts, won or lost,
from all that is said to all that must be as yet explained,
from what is accomplished to what needs to be done,
from all these things, and those I've missed,
I've never been so alone.
For I do not belong. I should not be here. For I have arrived before my time.
And yet love, or at least friendship must be found or reclaimed.
So what am I to do in this world?
