- Rules for playing Flux Poker
- Written by Fatman X. Jones
- -------
- Players: 3-6
- Requirements: One deck of playing cards, one set of poker chips, two counters of some sort, one colored differently
- -------
- Flux Poker is played like a traditional game of no-limit Texas Hold-Em, with deuces (the '2' cards) wild, no jokers, with one exception:
- If a player decides to go 'all-in' on a bet and wagers their entire holdings, and then loses, they are not ejected from the game.
- In this case, they are given the Flux Counter, a counter opposite to the Dealer counter, marking them "in Flux".
- The Player in Flux can only do one thing: Ante up using his Flux counter, which acts as an automatic check/call. They are not allowed to fold their hand while in Flux. If they lose the Flux counter on this hand, they are then ejected from the game; If they win the bet, they return to play as a normal player, with the current pot as their holdings. Otherwise, play continues as normal. When two players remain, the Flux counter is removed from the game and the game plays as normal.
- Additional rules are as follows:
- - Only one player may be in Flux at a time. If more than one player goes all-in and loses, than the person who wagered the most amount of money in their all-in bet gets the Flux counter; the person who wagered the least is ejected from the Game.
