» Riley is an only child. Growing up, her parents were always at work. This is mainly why Riley doesn't know how to express her compassion towards others, since she's never really been shown any. She had to learn to cook, get herself ready for school early, and keep her grades up at a young age. She has stayed the top of her class since she was in first grade. Riley thought that, maybe,
if she kept getting good grades and being a good student her parents would stay home, but they never did. As soon as Riley was old enough she ran the idea by her parents, she wanted to move out. This would help her see the real world and have more experiences. Her parents agreed and said they would help oh her rent, and if she needed they would give her extra money in times of need. Now Riley can focus on her studies, and get into a good university. Being a barista isn't too hard, if anything it's fun. Not to mention, the coffee is very nice.
