  4. Alpha Patch 3.8.0b has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.8.0-PTU.3715251.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU.

  17. Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus". Features and content shown in Citizencon, including Microtech and the Pisces, are currently in a partial state as we are working on moving those into the 3.8 build. WIth that in mind, we are focusing solely on stability and will collect feature feedback in a later build.

  22. General gameplay and traversal.
  23. Known Issues
  24. Due to the below spawning logic issue, all players will temporarily spawn only at Port Olisar.
  25. Spawning logic is currently not functioning correctly and as such logging out at locations that should persist the player, including the bed, are temporarily not working.
  26. Personal transport beacons do not broadcast.
  27. There's a chance the elevators at Area18 and Lorville will not function as intended.
  28. Rest stops still have lingering texture issues.
  29. Clovus may be missing.
  30. The Fortifier helmet has a fully opaque texture while in first person.
  31. The elevators at Port Tressler are non-functional and will trap the player.
  32. The Pisces spawns without its landing gear lowered.
  33. Patrol mission objectives do not updated after the player reaches the patrol area.
  34. Commodities can not be purchased at outposts.
  35. Hostile turrets will not fire on the player.
  36. Shopping kiosks are blank at all rest stops.
  37. Rest stop shops have no purchasable display items.
  38. Melee takedowns are not registered as kills vs AI targets.
  39. If a player has their ship despawned from the landing pad by ATC and retrieves another, they will sometimes be no longer able to retrieve the original ship.
  40. There is a large impact/smoke effect covering the screen when mining a ship deposit.
  41. Recovery ship data recorder mission does not update on arrival.
  42. Body and room temperature elements appear on the HUD, but will not be part of the 3.8 release.
  43. Replaceme elements may appear on planetary surfaces.
  44. Players can spawn with blood loss that can't be healed and get stuck in a death loop.
  45. There is no logout prompt for some 890 Jump beds.
  46. Ships can end up oriented sideways when quantum linking.

  86. Fixed missing collision issue in the rest stop bars that allowed players to fall through the floor.
  87. Orbital Defense turrets for the Resecure Controlled Territory Mercinary mission should no longer break apart on spawn.
  88. Unarmed takedowns when the target is prone should no longer cause damage.
  89. The Player's hands should no longer move off of the controls when using free look or head tracking.
  90. The new elevator room in GrimHex should now have gravity and atmosphere.
  91. The pickup animation should properly play if activated while the player is walking.
  92. Fixed an issue where the player can get stuck in a zoomed in view if they spam F4 and selfie cam.
