  1. Hi Jon,
  2.
  3. Glad to hear you've locked in your locations. Seems like everything's working out so far. Interesting choice to use a motorcycle as the physical prop for the actors to sit on, I was expecting something more like ripping an actual car's passenger seat out and putting it against a green screen, but whatever does the job right?

  5. On a less brighter note, I've been needing to tell you that unfortunately I do not think I will be able to help you out on this any longer. I've reached a fork in my life quite recently and I'm not sure what exactly I'm doing or where I'm headed anymore. The stress has been taking a rather big toll on me lately as I'm trying to figure everything that's going on in my life out again. I figure we're at an early enough state that if I drop out now you still have sufficient of time to get things up and going again, I do not wish to waste your time any further.

  7. Regardless, for the future it would have been very helpful to have better concept art to work from. I generally like to figure out the main shape of things before I work on any detail, and from the concept art you gave me I found it fairly difficult to figure things out in 3D space. (i.e. the side where the armrest/stepping platform goes, I'm still confused about that.) Ortho's definitely would have been nice too. While it's fine to go without, it really does takes a lot more time to figure out the concept in 3d. Usually it's helpful to figure everything out in 2d prior to moving it to 3d, it's easier to redraw something than to remodel and retopologize assuming the 3d model is expected to be optimized and have good topology (and no unnecessarily huge poly counts). For curiosity's sake, I did take modeling last semester with Derek.

  9. It's not usually me to say I'll do something for someone and then walk out halfway through, but I don't think I can continue in much of a timely manner with all that's going on right now--already I've been stalling a bit too much than what I'm comfortable with. I truly apologize about this, however life has a crazy way of throwing unexpected things your way when you least expect them, doesn't it? I hope everything works out fine for you. Attached is what I have made so far, feel free to use this as a base for the real thing in any way you see fit.

  11. Thanks for the opportunity, it's unfortunate that things had to end up this way.
  12. Doug
