  1. >Eins zwei polizei
  2. >You flap your wings
  3. >Drei vier grenadier
  4. >Delivering these letters
  5. >Funf sex alte hex
  6. >Sieben acht gute nacht
  7. >Good night indeed, it looks like it will be a very good night as you keep doing your job in the early but not too early hours of the night
  8. >you’re Daylily by the way, of course you know that, who else would you be?
  9. >You look down at the train, a thing you always do while flying over it on your route, seeing ponies working at the train station busy loading and unloading cargo
  10. >But this time you stop as you spot three ponies flying your way
  11. >Three very familiar bat pony stallions, Lockpick, Butterknife and Sneak, all of them sporting the same kind of greaser manestyle for some odd reason
  12. “Night boys, what’s with the mane-do?”
  13. >All three of them strike some kind of ridiculous manly poses while in the air
  14. >”Do you like what you see?”
  15. >That was Sneak, flexing his...you’re sure there’s some kind of muscles there he’s moving around, and combing some of his greasy mane back
  16. >”We wanted to look manly and cool, you dig?”
  17. >That was Butterknife, his sunglasses are crooked and he has not even noticed
  18. >”And look how handsome we ended up being, we’re a real band of swell gentlemen now”
  19. >And Lockpick, trying to impress you the best he can while fixing the collar of his leather jacket
  20. >The switch poses a few times while you do smile a little at their antics
  21. “Some kind of a special occasion? You three aren’t thinking of becoming some kind of a gang that’s up to no good are you?”
  22. >you crack your hooves
  23. >All three shake their heads
  24. >”I just wanted an image change to see if I would get popular with the...I mean just needed an image change, and these two just tagged along”
  25. >Lockpick points at Butterknife and Sneak
  26. >”They had styles for sale and this seemed easy enough to uphold, stick some grease in and you’re good to go”
  27. >Sneak nods as he agrees with Butterknife
  28. >”Not to mention I can finally get to carry my comb around with me, check out how cool it is!”
  29. >Sneak shows you his switchblade-style comb by flicking it open a few times
  30. >...you sort of want one too now
  31. >You must have stared at it a little as the three snicker and poke each other with their elbows while mentioning how she, meaning you, wants it
  32. >You give them an unimpressed look
  33. “If anypony here wants something it’s you guys”
  34. >Now they’re blushing and not looking at you
  35. “Didn’t mean it like that”
  36. >But just then the strap on your mailbag fails and it starts to fall down towards the moving train, in specific a very empty looking cart at the end of the train with just a little bit of coal in it
  37. >You dive towards it to catch it before it gets dirty, but so do the three stallions
  38. >”I got it!”
  39. >”Here let me help you”
  40. >”Whoa careful there or you’ll loose-“
  41. >And the four of you hit heads, hard, hard enough to knock each other unconscious as you all drop into the almost empty little cart
  42. >And as the four of you lie there the train moves on, going from one place to the other without much happening
  43. >but as it is traveling across a suspended railroad bridge between two mountains the cart breaks and falls off, only to start traveling down a slope at high speed, jump over a ravine, somehow bounce around here and there, go up and down and end up in the middle of wilderness
  44. >All with none of the ponies waking up
  45. >If any of you did, you’d know that by going into a specific direction would quickly lead you back to the tracks and home, but as none of you have any recollection of the trip...
  46. >guh...ugh...ug-guh...
  47. >what happened...oh right, you all bumped heads...
  48. >You open your eyes and get up to-
  49. >Wait what? Where the heck are you? And why is this coal cart sideways in the middle of what seems to be some kind of mountainous terrain?
  50. >”Oh man, my head hurts...”
  51. >You look in the direction of the voice and find the three stallions also waking up in a little pile
  52. >Butterknife gets off of the two and as Sneak and Lockpick are about to they suddenly seem to realize something and both of them blush a bit
  53. >”Eww get of me you fag!”
  54. >”Hey stop shoving me!”
  55. >”But I could feel your balls against my ass!”
  56. >”Well maybe your ass should not have invited them over!”
  57. >”Excuse me are you calling my ass a homosexual?!”
  58. >You roll your eyes in annoyance
  59. “Butterknife, Lockpick!”
  60. >You glare at the two and they instantly shut up and get up
  61. >”Yes mam!”
  62. >”Yes mam! Oh wait where are we?”
  63. >You shrug as you answer Sneak while Lockpick dusts his jacket off and Butterknife picks up his broken sunglasses, teary eyed as he looks at them
  64. “I have no idea, let’s take a look”
  65. >You and Sneak both open up your wings but only one of you goes up as the other winces in pain and inspects her wing
  66. >Oh no, you’ve hurt your wing, you can’t fly at all!
  67. >”Are you ok?”
  68. >Sneak comes back down and the two other also come over to you
  69. “I’ve hurt my wing, you go on ahead and look around”
  70. >Sneak nods and goes back up to look around
  71. >”Do you need any help with it?”
  72. >you shake your head
  73. “No I’m fine Lockpick”
  74. >”Maybe he should inspect your wing, he’s good with uhhh...medicine...stuff?”
  75. >You wonder what that weird wink was that Butterknife gave Lockpick
  76. >”Huh? Oh yeah, right, I’m good at this doctor thing yes, I could take a look at it for you...”
  77. >You raise an eyebrow but hand your wing over to him and he gently takes a hold of it and starts to run his hooves up and down along it while examining it
  78. >And you instantly have a harsh time to keep a straight face on, he is being very careful as he does so, even to the point that his touch feels a bit...awkward, for you
  79. >You try your best to not squirm or shiver or let yourself blush but still your cheeks feel a bit warm and your wing ticklish, but in a pleasant way
  80. >Which is why you quickly yank it back from him
  81. “As you can see, it’s just normally hurt. Sneak, how are things looking up there?”
  82. >You turn around with a flick of your tail, mostly to save face from not blushing at how pleasant it actually felt to have hooves tenderly touch your wing like that
  83. >And as you do so you miss seeing Lockpick doing a little cheer for himself and Butterknife smirking at him
  84. >Sneak lands back down before you and shakes his head
  85. >”There’s nothing but mountains after mountains everywhere, can’t see past some of them. No idea where we are. Are you feeling chilly?”
  86. >You tilt your head to the side in confusion as your ear flicks once
  87. “Chilly? No, why?”
  88. >Sneak shrugs
  89. >”Your cheeks look a bit red”
  90. >You sigh while Sneak seems confused
  91. >Your mind was going back to a certain set of memories you have of Lockpick, more importantly of his cock ramming down your hole...
  92. >You can interact with him normally, but being touched by him brought up a few memories...
  93. >You shake your head, what happened happened and you’re not going to be some blushy squeaky mare about it
  94. >Your ear twitches as you catch Butterknife and Lockpick whispering to one another and your eyes narrow
  95. >So that’s what it was all about...Butterknife wanted to aid his buddy in getting to make the mare he slept with blush from the sudden contact...
  96. >You turn around sharply and sternly walk to the two as they stop whispering to one another
  97. >you smile brightly to them and they smile back
  98. “If Midnight Delight would catch you two doing that she’d geld you on the spot. And the next time you try to pull that off I think I’ll steal the pleasure from her”
  99. >Both of them stop smiling and throw themselves into your hooves, apologizing a lot while spilling out random words of regret, panic and justification
  100. >And you kind of get what they are saying, so you sigh and tell them to stop and that you were only upset about them going at it so sneakily
  101. >Sneak just chuckles, annoying Lockpick and making him spill the beans about having a candid picture of you while changing into the Nightmare Moon costume you used during a little thing you did that involved a shower made out of gold
  102. >You facehoof and turn to the now three bickering stallions
  103. “What are all three of you lusting after me?”
  104. >All three of them blush and start avoiding looking at you
  105. >”Well no, of course not...”
  106. >”Y-yeah, that’s be dumb...”
  107. >”...Y-yeah, totally...”
  108. “You three do know that I am in a relationship with another mare right?”
  109. >”Yeah well you weren’t at first!”
  110. >Lockpick nods to Sneaks statement and adds his own opinion
  111. >”And you being in a relationship did not make you any less sexy, actually it just made it hotter, cut us some slack”
  112. >You take a step back, surprised by that while feeling yourself blush
  113. >And Butterknife says what he has to say as well
  114. >”And you slept with one of us! We are trying but we are stallions and you are the only hot mare we know who doesn’t outright refuse to speak to us or spend time with us!”
  115. >You mumble a bit before letting out a sigh
  116. “Let’s all calm down, all of us”
  117. >they agree and after taking a little breather and calming down all of you offer each other some apologies before agreeing that you should find some water to clean up
  118. >Of course after grabbing your bag and fixing the strap by tying the two pieces together with a simple knot before heading off
  119. >And you’re hoofing it since your wing is hurt and the three decide to do that too for now
  120. “But really, you guys feel kind of like brothers to me, yet we’re not related so I do feel something for all of you-deep friendship, don’t get any ideas!”
  121. >One of the three giggles at the word deep like a little colt would
  122. “But I also understand that you can’t help it 100% due to stuff...so I’m not going to hold it against any of you, unless one of you takes it too far then that pony is in trouble”
  123. >Sneak shrugs
  124. >”I doubt any of us can take it far in any way, you’re strong like a bull”
  125. “Any of you two have anything to add to that hmm?”
  126. >you look back over your shoulder to catch Lockpick ogling at your ass, and he then offers you a weak smile as he got caught
  127. >You roll your eyes
  128. “You can watch if you want but you can’t touch”
  129. >Sneak pokes your side
  130. >”Can I join him on that? I mean mountains are nice but I’d rather look at your butt if I can, especially if allowed to”
  131. >You tell him sure but then suddenly stop
  132. “Hey where is Butterknife?”
  133. >The two don’t break their stare contest with your sweet cheeks as they answer you
  134. >”Who cares he’s probably chasing butterflies or something somewhere close”
  135. >Sneak waves his hoof nonchalantly
  136. >but before Lockpick can add anything to that Butterknife suddenly pops out from somewhere
  137. >”Hey you guys I found a river and...am I interrupting or missing out on something?”
  138. >The two stallions who had their eyes glued to your ass suddenly stop staring and seem very excited
  139. >”Wait really? Did you hear that Sneak we finally can wash all this dirt off of ourselves and better yet our sweet manly awesome manes!”
  140. >the three high five and start heading off towards the river, your butt now forgotten
  141. >You shake your head while smiling a little before galloping after them, you too want to get all this coal off of your coat
  142. >As you arrive to the surprisingly clear little river you find all three of them looking at the water cautiously
  143. >You instead run straight into it and-
  144. “Waaaah!”
  145. >Jump right on out, the water is freezing!
  146. >Butterknife keeps poking the water with his hoof, Lockpick shakes his head and Sneak tries to inhale and man up, only to jump out after a few steps into the river, and then try again
  147. >You slap your cheeks, the ones on your face, not the ones where your qt mark is located
  148. >Back when you were on your little quest to get stronger you used to wash yourself in rivers as cold and maybe even colder than this! You refuse to admit you’ve gone a bit soft after staying in Hollow Shades for so long
  149. >So you buckle up and get right back in there
  150. >At first you’re shivering and it feels like your eyes are really opened wide, but after a bit of washing you start to get used to it and manage to clean yourself up
  151. >Which also gets the three other ponies into the water as well, almost like they did not want to loose to a mare
  152. >After a bit of chattering teeth and hurried washing and vigorous shaking to dry yourselves off all four of you were now clean instead of covered in random coal dirt
  153. >But the three of you are looking a bit goofy now, you giggle as their manes now just look goofy and unkempt
  154. >”Not so fast Daylily, I’ve come prepared!”
  155. >Lockpick goes over to his leather jacket hanging off of the branch of a lone tree near the river, pulls out a jar of hair grease from the pocket and the two other stallions look at him like he was some kind of a pony Jesus bringing them salvation
  156. >And quickly enough, at the help of Sneaks comb, they now have their greaser manes back
  157. >You hold out a hoof and Butterknife hands you the comb he was using to fix his mane the last, and you quickly comb some of your mane as well
  158. >You really need to get one of these switchblade combs, it’s so much fun to open and close it repeatedly
  159. >But then a very cold wind blows past all of you, making everypony shiver
  160. “We should find something to make a fire with so we can warm up, Lockpick you see if there’s anything in that direction, Butterknife go upstream, Sneak you’re going left and I am going right, we’ll meet back here”
  161. >And with that each of you sets out in a different direction to find something to aid each other warm up
  162. >You all must be pretty high up for it to feel this chilly, sure it’s not the middle of the summer anymore or anything but it should not be that cold either
  163.
  164.
  165. >Rain, heavy rain, and the sounds it brings with heavy wind
  166. >that is extremely chilly too, you shiver as you stare into the little weak bonfire made of all the letters that were in your bag and a few sad little twigs Sneak managed to find
  167. >It was pretty soon after the four of you set off in different directions when it started to rain a lot, and thanks to the mountainous terrain very desolate of vegetation outside moss and a few shrubs there was not a lot of wood in sight, especially dry wood
  168. >Luckily just as the wind had really picked up into near-storm levels the four of you managed to find a cave to take shelter in
  169. >Sneak shivers as he keeps flicking his comb open and close to pass the time
  170. >”Brrrr...if only it was not so windy, it keeps pushing droplets in”
  171. >You poke the fire with the last stick left before throwing it in as well
  172. “At least we have fire for now, and it protects us well enough”
  173. >It’s absolutely pouring outside, with the wind howling wildly almost like it was a storm out there
  174. >Lockpick looks at his soggy leather jacket, discarded on the floor of the cave
  175. >”If only it was dry and had some kind of a fur lining instead of being one of those light summertime fashion jackets...”
  176. >Your stomach lets out a growl that seems to remind everypony that they have not eaten anything in a while, and their stomachs growl too as if it was infectious like a yawn
  177. >”Wish we had something to eat”
  178. >Butterknife shrugs and rubs his tummy, but you on the other hand appear a bit smug and proud as you reach for your bag and dig out a-
  179. “Ta-da boys!”
  180. >A can
  181. >The three stallions all look at it wide eyed and wiping away their drool
  182. >”That’s food right?”
  183. >”Does it have fruit in it?”
  184. >”Food!”
  185. “I always have an emergency ration on me”
  186. >They clap their hooves at you as you hold the can proudly
  187. >That was a lie, you sometimes have one with you, but usually just at your home, and this one was close to expiration date so you packed it away for lunch
  188. >The three gather up closer to you as you open up the can
  189. >”Could it be tasty mango slices in sweet thick syrup?”
  190. >Butterknife wondered
  191. >”Or maybe nice pear halves in refreshing juice?”
  192. >was what Lockpick thought
  193. >”Or maybe some kind of an ultra super MRE all in one can meal?”
  194. >Said Sneak as he gulped
  195. “No, it’s meat”
  196. >You removed the lid to reveal the mystery meat mass everypony loves and hates
  197. >A unison oh tells you just how excited they are about it
  198. “If you wait for a little while for it to warm near the fire you’ll taste it like you never have tasted it before”
  199. >They shrug and agree and after a little while, just as the fire is on its last breaths, you manage to warm it up adequately and then set it to cool just for a moment
  200. >Not too hot to the touch, but still warm enough to not hold the can in your hooves constantly
  201. >”How are we going to eat it, we don’t have any forks or spoons”
  202. >You turn your head to face the confused Lockpick and wiggle your wing claw before simply digging out some meat and popping it into your mouth and then pushing the can his way
  203. >Lockpick looks a bit squeamish as he dips his claw into the meat and other things and after he’s had some he quickly proceeds to wipe his claw on some moss as he hands the can to the next pony in this little circle
  204. >Butterknife simply does it without any theatrics and seems to greatly enjoy the taste as he gives it to Sneak, who also has no trouble using his claw to eat instead of utensils
  205. >”Oh wow! How is it so good?”
  206. >You once again scoop some before answering as the can gets passed around
  207. “It’s very simple, we’re just so hungry and cold that anything would taste heavenly now. And it is a lot tastier warm than it is cold”
  208. >Lockpick looks at his wing claw he wiped on the moss, and then sighs and uses his other one to scoop out some, this time not wiping it afterwards
  209. >”I have only eaten it cold, could not finish the can”
  210. “I think it’s the best when you put the can into boiling water for some time before opening it”
  211. >”I should try that sometime...here you go Butterknife”
  212. >Butterknife happily scoops out more
  213. >”I still would have chosen fruit over this any night of the week”
  214. >And passes it to Sneak who also takes his share again
  215. >”And that was all of it”
  216. >The can is tossed aside as all four of you let out a sigh, feeling like you could have really gone for more
  217. >The fire has gone out and with your body starting to digest what little it got you are left feeling even chillier, just like the stallions who seem absolutely freezing now
  218. >Sneak tries to strike up a conversation, most likely to distract himself from the cold
  219. >”Anypony else notice how we seem to do things in unison a lot? We’re all acting like a couple who always-”
  220. >He looks at you and you instantly get what he’s aiming at
  221. “Finishes each others sentences”
  222. >There’s a little chuckling to that before Lockpick continues
  223. >”I really wish I’d find myself a mare whom with I’ll work as a couple as well as we do-I mean how well we get together...no along! I mean along, I don’t want to be a couple with you”
  224. >He quickly starts to correct himself again
  225. >”I mean I don’t mean that like you’re a bad mare to be couples with...s-shut up!”
  226. >You, Sneak and Butterknife are all giggling a little at him as he blushes
  227. >”You’re one to laugh you two you’re as lonely as I am when it comes to romance and love!”
  228. >Now there’s one stallion looking triumphant and two looking depressed
  229. >Now all three are depressed
  230. >You let out a sneeze that breaks whatever mood was floating around them
  231. “We’re going to have to share body heat”
  232. >Lockpicks mouth falls open, Butterknife goes as red faced as possible and Sneak suddenly has the biggest shit eating grin on his face you have ever seen on a pony
  233. “Unless any of you have anything against it, which I guess you do no-“
  234. >”N-no!”
  235. >”Of course not! D-don’t want to let you catch a cold after all hehehe...”
  236. >Yes Lockpick that is why you suggested it after all
  237. >”Let’s do this, and do it hard!”
  238. >you raise an eyebrow at Sneak who got up and cheered, and at his choice of word...hard...but as funny as it sounds you do trust these stallions
  239. >At least you think you do
  240. “Snuggle up then”
  241. >You open your wings up and close your eyes because even under your cool front you do feel a bit embarrassed about it, but you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do
  242. >You just hope that your blush is not apparent enough as the first stallion body makes contact with yours, followed by the second and third
  243. “And if any of you gets an embarrassing...thing, please point it away from me”
  244. >that’s right Daylily, use professionalism to not let on that you too are feeling blushy about this situation after all, as a thought it’s no biggie but actually doing it feels more embarrassing than you had thought
  245. >Especially since after opening up your eyes you really don’t know where to look, just like the stallions who keep looking at anything else than you or anypony else
  246. >And after a little bit of this, as comfy and warm it actually feels...you have to try to suggest something to break the odd silence now floating in the cave
  247. “So, anypony know a song we could try to sing, something that fits the situation?”
  248. >Nopony says anything, but then Butterknife looks like he thought of something, the expression on his face brightening for a brief moment
  249. >”I might but it’s a bit embarrassing...”
  250. “It’s still something”
  251. >”But it’s about a three-way...”
  252. “Of course it is.”
  253. >Sneak and Lockpick both chuckle a bit while you sigh
  254. >But then Lockpick suddenly starts talking too
  255. >”Wait that’s wrong, wouldn’t a four-way be the fitting term?”
  256. >Butterknife seems confused
  257. >”Wait but how four would do it, I mean there’s the butt and then there’s the pussy”
  258. >Sneak looks at Butterknife weird
  259. >”The mouth you moron, imagine a spit-roast but there’s somepony underneath using whichever hole is left available”
  260. “Umm...”
  261. >”Oh right the mouth, I forgot about that, I was too focused on one in the pink and another in the stink”
  262. “Guys”
  263. >Your cheeks feel redder now and you’re staring to feel a certain feel in your body, a warm one but not a good one in this situation, oh and Lockpick now adds something as well as well
  264. >”Wait would the pony who was fucking the mouth be the one drawing the shortest stick?”
  265. >you can’t help but to have images appear into your head about this sort of situation that they are talking about
  266. >Sneak shakes his head
  267. >”No, have you ever facefucked a mare before, I mean the pleading teary expression in her eyes, heck the whole look on her face would be so worth seeing when she’s being used at max capacity, besides I think that the buttfucker would be the one drawing the shortest stick, your balls touching the pussyfuckers balls and not being able to see anything because you’re beneath the mare”
  268. >Butterknife interrupts Sneak
  269. >”Wait the pussyfucker could be the lowest one too, but I think that being beneath the mare would feel amazing, imagine how all of her body keeps rubbing against you and stuff”
  270. >”Oh yeah, didn’t think about that”
  271. >You’re sweating now, your face and another part of your body
  272. >And it is not exactly sweat down there, you can’t stop your mind from going places!
  273. >Lockpick adds his thoughts and opinion in as well again
  274. >”Yeah pretty much nopony in that mix gets the short stick, any hole is going to be amazing, though the mare will be the definite winner, so much stimulation in so many pla-wait what is that?”
  275. >You gasp as you feel something sliding away from your crotch area and your heart jumps to your throat when Lockpick stares at his hoof in confusion, your natural lubricant gel on it
  276. >”What is this, it’s on my wing as well”
  277. >Butterknife rubs his back with his hoof as you try to slightly get away from too much bodily contact with anypony
  278. >”And on my back, what is it?”
  279. >Lockpick moves his hoof closer to his face and takes a sniff, just as Sneak does to his wing and Butterknife to his hoof
  280. >Butterknife wipes his hoof onto some moss, Sneak raises an eyebrow and gives it a-Don’t taste it!
  281. >our face goes beet red as he gives it a lick and is now smacking it around in his mouth, deep in thought
  282. >But what Lockpick does makes your mouth fly open and a little screee escape from it
  283. >He turns to look at you with narrowed eyes and shouts
  284. >”Daylily!”
  285. >You feel like sinking into the ground as the other two put two and two together, leaving Butterknife wide eyed and staring at you, and Sneak as well, and you yourself covering your face with your hooves
  286. >”You’re wet, like sexually wet!”
  287. >Sneak swallows as you quickly scoop away of the now three stallion bat pile
  288. >”And after all that talk of us getting a boner you went and got moist!”
  289. >You give him a huffy glare while blushing
  290. “Well I did not think you three would start to talk about a four-way!”
  291. >Sneak does a double take
  292. >”Wait you got aroused of us talking about a four-way?”
  293. “Yes-no-shut up!”
  294. >You scrunch your mouth while now refusing to look at the three smirking, chuckling stallions hoof bumping one another
  295. >but after all that they serious back up and Lockpick starts speaking
  296. >”It’s ok Daylily, we’re sorry”
  297. >You glance back at the three quickly as Sneak continues
  298. >”Yeah lass, we understand you could not help it”
  299. >They open up their wings, beckoning you to get back to the bat pile as Butterknife adds his words
  300. >”Come back here, let’s help each other stay warm”
  301. >Still scrunching and red faced, and with a moist butt, you wipe your butt area against some moss as stealthily as you can...which was a bad move, it’s soft and pleasant and did not help at all outside getting any immediate juices off of you, you get up and slowly walk over to the bat pile
  302. >Just as you get back into it Sneak continues
  303. >”And if you get your thing in an embarrassing state, please point it away from us”
  304. >And the three snicker once again and instead of saying anything you just let out a groan and close your eyes while lying down, waiting for sleep to take you away
  305. >And the three seem to do the same, as the sounds of the rain and howling wind are the only ones heard
  306. >And the warm and comfy of the pile soon does its work and you fall asleep despite what happened earlier, and that you are snuggled up close against three stallions
  307.
  308.
  309. >Mmmhhh~ so warm and comfy...
  310. >And then you remember exactly why and stop feeling too comfy about it due to embarrassing reasons
  311. >Wait there’s something on your face, you remove the object so you can open up your eyes and see
  312. >That they were testicles. Butterknife’s testicles to be exact
  313. >You quickly swat them away which makes Butterknife wake up with a yelp, waking up Sneak and Lockpick as well
  314. >The bat-pile comes apart very groggily and son enough you’re all stretching your hooves and wings
  315. >”Ugh...what time is it?”
  316. >You walk over to the entrance of the cave and look outside so you can answer Sneak while Lockpick yawns and Butterknife stares at his crotch while looking confused
  317. “It looks like mid-day-ish”
  318. >The rain has stopped and the world looks moist, luckily the sun is not shining since it’s pretty cloudy and grey
  319. >”Ughh so early...”
  320. >Lockpick falls to the ground and sighs, then gets up again and goes over to inspect his leather jacket
  321. >”Aww man it’s ruined...”
  322. >You walk over to him, picking up your bag in the process and take his jacket
  323. “It might come in handy, let me keep it”
  324. >Butterknife’s stomach grumbles
  325. >”I’m hungry, so you have any more cans Daylily?”
  326. >Sneak chuckles briefly and mutters something about your cans
  327. “No I only had that one can”
  328. >You shake your bag for emphasis
  329. >Butterknife also slumps down and sighs
  330. >”I’m more thirsty than hungry, at least for now”
  331. >Sneak walks up next to you as you make yoru way to the opening of the cave again, and the other two agree with his action and join the two of you as you look around, searching for-there!
  332. “Here’s some water”
  333. >You walk over to a fresh little rainwater pond in one of the cliffs and start drinking straight from the nature
  334. >It’s smooth, refreshing and you can taste the minerals that it has in it from being in a naturally formed stone tray
  335. >You stop after having your fill and wipe your mouth, and notice that your three companions are looking a bit squeamish
  336. >”I don’t know, it’s unfiltered and stuff”
  337. >You grab Lockpick’s head and just put it near the water forcefully
  338. “Just drink unless you want to feel really sick”
  339. >Lockpick does as he’s told and you turn your attention to Sneak next
  340. >”But what if it has all kinds of bugs that will make us sick?”
  341. “I’ve been drinking from natural sources of water a lot, trust me on this”
  342. >You point at the water with your hoof and he sighs and warily leans over and starts drinking
  343. >”I just realized I’m not thirsty at all, I uhh...woke up when you were all sleeping and stood in the rain with my mouth open?”
  344. >Butterknife gives you a very bad poker face and you just shake your head and point at the pond
  345. >”Aww man...”
  346. >And he too joins in drinking, and now that you got the three to drink they don’t seem to want to stop
  347. >Sneak is the first one to lift his head up
  348. >”Well that’s done...I guess it wasn’t so bad...”
  349. >He hangs his head in defeat while walking over to you as Lockpick comes up next
  350. >”If I get sick I am going to complain about it to you so much”
  351. >Butterknife drinks a bit more and after a little while stops and comes to join the three of you
  352. >”Oh wow that was so tasty!”
  353. >You smile smugly at the other two who’s ears flop as they grumble something inaudible
  354. “Let’s start hoofing it, and keep an eye out for stuff to eat”
  355. >And with that this group of four sets off towards somewhere
  356. >You’re walking and the other three are flying close by, your wing is still not feeling up to flight yet
  357. >This kind of reminds you of the time with Anon, wow that was a long time ago...so much has happened since then
  358. >You find yourself reminiscing your adventure with that human creature while looking at the various shrubs dancing in the wind
  359. >After a while of good memories, and those three stallions joining you in walking instead of flying, mostly in silence and grumbling stomachs, Sneak who’s walking in front of you is about to walk past a big rock when a mountain lion suddenly walks out from behind it
  360. >Now dear readers, when you hear the word mountain lion you instantly think of a certain kind of a feline creature, but this is a whole different kind of a being that is found in Equestria
  361. >It’s a regular lion, who just happens to live in the mountains, hence mountain lion
  362. >”Help!”
  363. >Sneak quickly flies to you and the others while the lion takes a few steps forward
  364. >You grab a big enough rock from the ground as the three stallions grab one another adn start to scree loudly as the lion opens up its maw and roars
  365. >”SCREEEEE-”
  366. >”SCREEEE-“
  367. >”SCREEEEEE-“
  368. >You on the other hand feel too tired and hungry for this and throw the rock in your hoof as hard as you can, hitting the lion on the head with a crack and making it instantly keel over
  369. >”-EEeeeee...”
  370. >”-EEEEeee...”
  371. >”-Eeeee...”
  372. >They keep hugging one another and staring at the lion wide eyed as you simply walk over the ex-lion
  373. >Soon enough they let go of one another and quickly fly back to you, this time walking behind you in a neat formation for some reason
  374. >After a while you come across a veil of mist and after walking through it, holding on to one another’s tails in your mouths to not get lost with you walking in the lead, you come across a valley
  375. >It’s a huge moor, surrounded by mist!
  376. >You feel your tail falling out from Butterknife’s mouth, who after a little game of rock paper scissors won the, quote, position with the best view
  377. >All of you have gasped at the wet natural beauty of it all
  378. >but the best part about it is
  379. “Food!”
  380. >You sprint into a gallop, quickly followed by your other companions as you near the closest little river and set aside your bag and lean down
  381. >You reach into the river, turning over rocks and whatnot while Sneak, Lockpick and Butterknife all seem confused as Lockpick takes a guess
  382. >”Are we going to fish?”
  383. “In a way, look”
  384. >You hold up a brown little river shrimp to him and the other two, almost translucent in color, wiggling its tiny legs around
  385. “Look for them under rocks, catch as many as you can”
  386. >While muttering how they really would have wanted fruit instead, they get to work and after some time you’ve all gathered up a bunch that are in a neat pile on Lockpick’s ruined leather jacket that’s on the ground
  387. >All other times, a jar of mane grease and one switchblade comb are neatly tucked away into the bag, the boys decided to stop worrying about looking like greasers until back to civilization
  388. >”So, how are we going to cook them?”
  389. >You look at Lockpick, grinning since you know he’s a bit squeamish about stuff like this
  390. “Who says we’re going to cook them?”
  391. >You grab a hoof-full of live shrimps and throw them in your mouth like they were popcorn, making Lockpick look horrified
  392. >Butterknife instantly follows your example and eats some too, his expression showing just how bad he thinks they taste like
  393. >It’s not a treat, but it’s sustenance
  394. >Sneak manages to surprise you when he does not complain at all and does as Butterknife did, you’d have thought he’d complain about it just a little
  395. >Lockpick is starting to drool and his stomach lets out more sounds so he too mans up and eats some
  396. >And then you all sit there in silence around the ruined leather jacket, eating live shrimps, too focused on filling your stomachs to think about anything else
  397. >Though after a few more hoof-full’s you start to think about Midnight Delight and Tulip
  398. >Were they worried when you did not come home as usual? And how worried must they feel now, hopefully they at least went to bed instead of waiting for you
  399. >You think warmly how they both give you a big hug once you come back home, your daughter nuzzling her head against your chest and your marefriend pressing her body against yours
  400. >But then you start to think how it must be for these three friends of yours
  401. >They all live in their own apartments now, Butterknife having moved out from his moms house once he got his bakery business up and running and the other two already living by themselves
  402. >And it feels...lonely, but you break the silence, feeling confident that things are not as bad as they appear
  403. “So boys...any mare happy to see you back when we manage to get to Hollow Shades?”
  404. >Sneak lets out a chuckle that does not sound happy at all, almost depressed
  405. >”No, none at all, but I do have a bag of apple chips spiced with cinnamons on my table so I am going to eat that when back”
  406. >Butterknife shrugs
  407. >”I guess my mom would be happy, not that she knows I was even away, other than that nope”
  408. >Lockick is staring at the pile of shrimps in an unfocused manner and forces a smile
  409. >”When would I have managed to get one of those anyway”
  410. >You cringe at yourself for managing to bring the mood down so you try changing the subject
  411. “Well...umm, at least the business is doing good?”
  412. >You’re a bit taken back by the unison sigh
  413. >”It went bankrupt”
  414. >Your mouth falls open as you turn your head to look at Butterknife
  415. “Wait your business went down?”
  416. >”Yeah”
  417. >Lockpick joins in while giving Butterknife a pat on the back
  418. >”As it turns out, the business will not bloom if you can only make one or two recipes while failing to make anything else”
  419. “I’m sorry to hear that”
  420. >Sneak shrugs
  421. >”it’s not that bad, I mean we sold the recipes to the bigger bakery at Hollow shades and managed to pay off all of Butterknife’s loans and getting a little for ourselves as well so we’re not completely out of money, yet”
  422. >”I am”
  423. >Lockpick raises his hoof
  424. >”Been selling some of my stuff away to keep myself afloat, guess collecting all those hand blown oil lamps was not a bad idea”
  425. >Butterknife shrugs
  426. >”it’s been ok, my mom buys me stuff a lot even without me asking so I’m saving up ok, but I need to find some source of money soon”
  427. >They lift up their heads and look at you, and speak out the same thing simultaneously
  428. >”Don’t worry we’re not thinking of doing something illegal”
  429. >You smile a little and open up your hooves, making them puzzled
  430. “Group hug?”
  431. >”Yeah sure”
  432. >”Aww yiss”
  433. >”I’ll take it”
  434. >As the hug goes on there’s suddenly a weird thud near to where you are all sitting and all heads turn into its direction
  435. >Timber wolves. Rising out of the nearby bog and looking extra ghastly due to their wooden bodies made of bog-wood
  436. >Suddenly even more start to rise up and struggle out of the bog, snarling in your direction and glaring with their glowing eyes
  437. >Butterknife gulps, Lockpick tightens his grip on your back and Sneak lets out a meek eeee
  438. >”Run away?”
  439. “Yes, run!”
  440. >All of you let go of one another and start running away, well, you’re running and they are flying because they can
  441. >You glance behind yourself and find that there’s 8 timber wolves in pursuit
  442. >But in front of you is the dense fog, you ponies could run there and loose the wolves, but you’d risk getting lost yourselves
  443. >You come to a halt and so do the stallions once they notice you’re no longer running with them
  444. >”Daylily what are you doing?”
  445. >Lockpick signals for you to get over to where they are
  446. “We’re going to have to fight!”
  447. >Their mouths fall open and Sneak throws his hooves up into the air
  448. >”What no!”
  449. “Yes!”
  450. >You stomp your hoof down and after looking uncertain for a brief moment they let out various sounds of giving up but not being 100% ok with this and join your sides as the wolves rush towards you and your little group
