Chapter 2: A Heroes Welcome?





Hmmm... somethings odd, While the Knight and sage are speaking a red glowing dot is appearing on my screen , also I can sense the feeling of loneliness as they speak,

escorting us back with Armed knights and a master sage, something doesn't add up, this almost looks like an execution...A Sacrifice!

I can feel it! I'm 100% sure about this! I sneaked up as I approached Chiaki and I whispered

" All of us Let's form a Party! ,don't let the Cavalry and the sage know "

Chiaki faced towards me looking confused

"Huh?! a party? is that even possible here? how do you do that? What are you up to?! "

"Hurry up! I'll explain it to you later after we form the party, I'll send you a request .. click this...There ! all set! Now ,I'll try something, Don't get startled"

words pop up on Chiaki's screen...

"Can you read this? act normal as you are, respond back to me by just thinking of an imaginary keyboard and type using your mind ..."

"Woah! this is unbelievable!!!"

"no one can see this aside from the party members included here, I'll send the party request to everyone..."

everyone joined the party...

Kuroda ( sharpshooter) "woah! just like in the video games!"

Kaya (priestess ) "hey don't make wierd faces Kuroda!"

"Everyone listen, somethings wrong... I have a feeling that we won't be welcome as we would like to imagine"

Chouji(Magician) "Huh? what are you event talking about Ruki?!"

"We won't be gettings a heroes welcome is what I'm saying"

Chiaki (Knight) "Then...what are you Implying?! "

"We will be...S-A-C-R-I-F-I-C-E-D"

the whole party chat was shocked an oustanded...

"That's preposterous!"
"You're Insane! stoo being paranoid!"
Chiaki (Knight) : "What the?! they all looked sincere Ruki! Can you tell us what's going on ,why did you think of that?!"

"Trust me, Lets just say its a Gamblers Intuition"

"You're freakin insane dude!"
"Yeah you are!"

"Okay try me, tell me something that some of you know and I'll guess if its the truth or if its a lie"

*After all a couple of minutes*

"Woah!!! how did you do that?!"
" You guessed it all correctly"

"Are you all now ready to listen? I have a plan, before I finalize everything please list all you active skills that you have"

* after a few minutes of discussion *

as the whole group continues to walk,
Kaya stopped and told one of the knights " I need to pee! " , the knight not knowing what to do hurriedly approached his superior and Melthus nods, the Knight went back to Kaya and said the Captain approves let me escort you, Kaya angrily replied "hell no! you pervert!!!" the Knight becomes flustered and replied  "but we need to protect you just incase a monster appears!" "No way! Izuna will be the one escorting me, she's very strong because she came from a family of samurai who practices Kenjutsu!" But Milady the Knight got cuts off by Melthus "Let them be, we'll just wait and stop here for a moment" Thank you sir "Izuna replied as she and Kaya heads towards the back of a very huge tree "

after ten minutes a scream was heard which sounds like Kaya's voice, "Help us!!!" the cavalry soldiers together with their captain Melthus got into their battle position and hurriedly approached the tree... "They're gone!" Melthus looking confused while searching the area ,Master Krau together with the elite knight guards also approached the area where Melthus and the rest of the Soldiers are searching, as the knights are busy searching for the area confused, Chouji hurriedly chants and used the skill "Sink hole" Melthus & Krau together with the rest of the cavalry fell off and then Chiaki grabs a sword lying on the ground and cuts down the tree using her skill "Grand Slash!!", the tree fell of at the top of the sink hole trapping the soldiers together with Melthus and Master Krau, however Krau laughs..." You darn brats, you think you're so clever? you wont get away easily..." Krau chants a spell and suddenly Melthus and the rest of the soldiers transformed, Painful groans echoed through sink hole...Their skin turned purple with dark tattoo like markings all over their body ,their body became more muscular, and Horns grew into their heads, their teeth now became fangs and Suddenly growls and groans can now be heard on the pit hole , the tree flew off as the now transformed and much more Bigger in size compared to his kins Melthus jumped off ,off the pit hole looking angry as ever with his eyes glowing red and saliva dripping on his mouth like a savage beast, "Ohhhh no! he's so scary" as Kaya hugs chiaki, Kuroda summons a Large bow out of thin air and aims at the sky "Steel rain"! countless arrows fell off from the sky piercing the demons from the pit hole but only grazing Melthus, "tch!!" His skin is thick like an armor Kuroda mumbles looking frustrated on not fatally injuring Melthus...Melthus lets out a loud roar and charges at Kaya, with just a hairs breath Chiaki,Chouji and Ruki blocks off the Charging Melthus using the shields they picked up on the ground left by the soldiers, however the Large demon's strength is overwhelming and the three cannot hold on any longer ,Ruki shouts "Kaya try to use your Divine Light skill now!..." Ehhh?! alright here goes nothing as the trembling Kaya shouts the words "Divine Light!" ,A Blinding flash of light appeared dazing the Demon ,Ruki shouts "now! Izuna!" Izuna appears from her stealth camouflage and jumps on a stance holding a sword ready to cut off the Demons head at the same time Chiaki is also preparing her self to cut of the demons torso " grabbing the sword on her waist at the same time both used their skill "Guilottine!" "Grand slash!", cutting the demon into 3 pieces "I might not been able to graze your earlier but this one will surely put a hole in you demon! " Kuroda  unleashes his skill, "Ever piercer" piercing the demons head mid air, the group successfully annahilated Melthus as his body parts crumbled Into ashes...

"You insolent brats! How dare you! You're all supposed to follow obediently and die painlessly by being sacrificed to the great demon lord! " Krau shouts..." I guess i have to do everything myself, Let me reintroduce myself to you brats....I'am The Demon Lord of the West , Radir! " The Demon Lord Lets out a loud Howl and tranforms Like all the previous soldiers however his body grew thrice larger than Melthus and the markings all over his body glows bright red ,the horn on his headare much larger which curls down towards the end also a pair of Very large wings sprouts on his back..Radir Shoots off on the sky and disappears, Huh?! where did he went of to? Chiaki looking confused, Ruki tells Kuroda, "Use your Greater Sight, Hurry! we need to know his location, he must be hiding somewhere preparing to attack" ...Sure! "Greater Sight" Kuroda's already almost perfect vision increased tremendously as he looks around trying to find the location where Krau disappeared into, he looks above... "Above us!!! He is charging towards us with an insane amount of speed! He's gonna crush us! even if we run we wont make it! the impact will be miles wide, we'll still get caught on it" ... How long do you think it will take before he lands? Ruki asks Kuroda... "I'm not quite sure ,Judging from the distance and his speed, as we speak maybe we have around 20 seconds" ...Alright lets run and hide towards that great big tree...Chiaki angrily shouts at Ruki "Are you insane? didn't you hear what Kuroda just said,l?! the impact will devastate the whole area and it will be miles wide!do you even think that tree will save us? do you want us to just stay over there and die?! "...

" I dont have any time to explain! just do it! Trust me! we wont die! I don't plan on dying anytime soon, I would never let anyone of us die specially you Chiaki... " Ruki looks at Chiaki with conviction... Chiaki getting flustered and blushes "Wha?! What are you saying you idiot! Okay you bettter not let us die or i'll kill you even in death! " ..."Yeah...I promise" Ruki says, Chouji and Kuroda it will all be on you... Chouji as we hide on the tree wait for Kurodas signal and Cast the deepest Sink hole you ever can "Chouji nods and started to recite an incantation" , Kuroda continue using your "Greater sight" give Chouji the signal to use his Sink hole 3 seconds before the demon crashes into the ground, Chiaki kindly cast Shield "/fortress to buff our defense stats and ohhh Kaya, enchant us using your skill "Almighty prayer" to buff our stats more temporarily and "Holy protection" so the flying debris wont hit us, dont forget to cast it on the tree too... Kaya answers "Aye!"...

Now the speeding Demon Lord is fast approaching the place where the heroes are...

As Radir image charging towards the ground now appears on sight, with his very intent to kill everyone in one go, Continuously Lets out a laughter and mocks the heroes ..."Hahahah you think hiding will save your life?! I might not know where you are but you wont be able to escape this even if you run, you darn brats! you will die here, in the name of The Great Demon Lord Vartas!"

Chouji uses all of his mana to cast the deepest "Sink hole!"  he can... just right in time as Radir is about to land an impact on the ground

 Radir almost lands but a very huge sink hole appeared in front of him, "No! what is this! I can't stop anymore!!!!" as Krau tries to stop himself with all his might its already too late...Krau lands on the sink hole and crashes on it, minimizing the devastation of the Impact and trapping himself inside the huge rubbles that fell on the Sinkhole...
