[14:04] Taking a seat at the table, Revan would be tap, tap, tapping away with a single finger against the wood's surface. Fenes had done a wonderful job remodeling the guildhall after Thryne's outburst, though there were still a few scars that remained.

Ezekiel is dead.. Danica and Deimos are getting married.. And there is a comet falling soon.

So many mixed events, both good and bad, reasons to rejoice, and reasons to take up arms. It was a brewing conflict within the teen Task.. How was he supposed to feel.. What could he do?

"I.. Think we should.. Assume the worst.. In the case of Fingar.."

[14:08] Fenes would stare at the wooden table in front of her with Dull green eyes. The sight of a corpse of someone close, friendly, had brought back bad memories. She'd get taken out of her dae for a second when the tapping on the wood began. her ears twitched, and the eyes slightly shifted towards Revan.

Fingar… hasn't been around in a long while, and he usually hangs around here a lot. The Ookami's body would shake a bit, and a nervous laugh would come from her- tears filling her eyes. Assume the worst. Fingar was also dead, then? By the lack of body, it surely had to be a demon. That ate him. Ate him.

The dull eyes came back as she stared towards the wooden table again, shaking her head.

"Fingar too, then..."

Kakusei leaned forth against the table, resting his elbows on it as he stared down at the wooden surface. His eyes were vacant, lacking any emotion as he pondered about the previous events.

It did seem like life likes to roughen it all up from every possible direction at the same time. How ironic.

*sigh*


Kakusei pinched the bridge of his nose using his thumb and index finger as he took a moment to cope with the stream of events, sure; everything seemed bad.

But, what good would it do if they acted defeated and allowed themselves to be weakened? Surely they'll be struck harder then.

He lifted his head up, looking at Revan before he shifted his gaze towards Fenes, a warm smile took over his features. What a weird fellow....

"Brighten up. Don't get too gloomy now."

Kakusei tried to force an even bigger on his face now, perhaps it'll INFECT them as well, "Those who departed, they sure are in a better place. No need to act defeated, just move along for their sake. We need to find out the real story behind it all, and prevent another loss while we're at it."

"Cheer up."

[14:25] Lilith would enter the guild hall, surprised to see both Revan and Fenes inside. Since they usually are out doing something important like training and such. Sitting down on one of the cushions she would give a nod to Kakusei, and listen in on what was going on, trying to figure out what topic they're talking about.

Hearing about loss, pain, and seeing the dull eyes that Fenes wore were disheartening. She would follow Kakusei's example of smiling, not saying anything because she didn't know who died or what happened. Hopefully she could get a drink from Ezekiel again...

[14:26] Hearing that nervous laughter was something that would bother the bandaged Task. It was the laugh of someone's who's spirit was breaking, losing control. He didn't know how to react, how to help her. It was then Lilith would come in, likely unaware of everything going on.

He would take her by the hand, giving her a firm squeeze and a sorrowful look, then tilt his hand towards Fenes. He wanted the blue haired founder to comfort him, to feel her embrace, but he knew that Fenes needed it much more.

"Kakusei is right.. We achieve nothing by moping.. We've lost some outstanding souls at the hands of those who are truly wicked. This changes nothing, we still draw breath, and blood still pumps through out veins."

Assuming Lilly would comfort Fenes, Revan too would join the hug. We have to stay together. We have to remain strong.. We can't lose anyone else.

"We will continue training.. Continue growing stronger.. I believe.. We should focus our objectives to gathering rare materials.. So Lilith can craft us better equipment.. And.."

He would hold his breath for a moment, was he really going to tell them? He promised them he wouldn't keep secrets any longer. "There.. Is a comet coming.. Cosmic magi are growing weaker.. And we believe it is the work of Witches.. There is.. A force coming together to fight at whatever emerges from the comet.. And I will be.. Joining them.."

[14:34] Fenes says, "8 Id rather not join an event with the child DR still active u.u"
[14:40] The eyes would stay dull, fixated on the table in front of her for a moment. She wouldn't even notice Lilith joining the table and sit on one of the cushions. The head turned towards Kakusei, seeing him smile at her, she'd turn her head away for the moment. Brighten up. it was a bit complicated to brighten up when seeing the corpse of Ezekiel, then hearing Fingar might also be dead.

"...Move along... I'll try..."

She took a deep breath, closing her eyes, Cheer up. Again, not as easy as it sounded. Her head would now turn towards Revan as he spoke up this time.
Yes- not everyone was dead, they were all still alive. All that were around this table... OH.. Lilith was there too.. She finally noticed her, getting out of her haze. Even then, that small laugh came back, for but a second.

With a shaky voice, she shook her head, and gave a nod.
"Y-yes. We will grow. train. get stronger. S-so.. this doesn't happen again. This won't happen again."

Whatever hug came her way, she'd happily accept it, hugging tightly before actually letting go.... Although. .Revan's next words would make Worry appear almost immediately on her face.

"You… You're going to.. join that? But. .We're still growing.. physically.. and in training.. You could.. die.. out there. We are still training.. we are still training! We can't go against something coming from a whole.. comet!"

She'd grit her teeth, before just shakenly slumping onto the cushion. an arm on the table in front of her. "Don't...die..."

[14:48] Thryne walked in and .. removed? his helmet. What was happening.

[14:52] Kakusei quirked an eyebrow. Fenes' usual cheerful presence was no longer around, putting some concern in the lad's mind. It seemed like his words didn't have too much effect on her as it did to Revan.

"Comet, huh?"

The young lad reached a hand towards his own chin, tapping the tip of his index finger against it as he contemplated. He didn't have any idea regarding 'Cosmic Magic' or an incoming comet. So he didn't have enough information to delve deeper into thought.

"...I see."

Kakusei turned his glances to Revan, nodding once before he added up. "Well, you can go there and help out. Just be careful with whatever you do, i'll tag along as well if I could; more numbers means you'll have more people to hold each other's backs. So just tell me when that comet is coming down and we'll sort it out."

[15:03] As Fenes would voice her worries to Revan, Lilith herself would start to question his safety. After all, he always had a tendency to go off and do things that would injure and hurt him.

"D-Do you know who's coming? If it's the work of witches, then you might meet demons... And I don't want you to get hurt"

She would look him straight in the eyes, looking for reassurance of any kind. She didn't know much about cosmic magi, but if a comet was able to affect them all then it must be something dangerous right? What power would be needed in order to call such a comet, to call a celestial body to do as your will. She was afraid, for Revan and for Esshar.

She would shake her head, clearing her thoughts once more. Holding Revan's hand tight, squeezing it.

"You... Know what you're getting into right? I-I trust you..."

[15:12] Golden hues would drift down, but he would keep his head high. He felt ashamed to cause them to worry again, but he wanted to be honest with them, with his intentions. He knew it was a dangerous situation, one that was likely over his head.

"I know we're still training.. But I have to see it for myself.. I have to know what we are facing.. I will never know if I am ready until I experience their power for myself.. To see how high the bar is truly set."

His hand would grip around Lilith's, returning the squeeze as he tried to remain strong, steadfast. He would shake his head to Kakusei, "You are.. Still being trained by us.. I.. Couldn't let you come along in good Conscious.."

He couldn't answer many of Lilith's questions, he had just heard how this was going about from Bay, he was the only one that Revan knew for sure would be there.. Though it was likely that his family would make an appearance too.

"I can't promise I won't get hurt.. I.. Won't truly know what I can accomplish without experiencing.. Some pain.. However.. I swear.. I will not die.. And if things get too bleak? I will.. Make a tactical retreat.. I will not risk my neck for another.." It was why he didn't want Kakusei to attend, he would feel responsible for his protection.

[15:19] Her attention shifted back to the conversation, the little assortment of Ingredients given by Thryne having been a nice enough distraction for... a few seconds.

Her attention shifted towards Revan of Course, as he was planning to go to that comet, or whatever it was. her breathing was slow, dull green eyes still looking down at the table for a moment, it would take her a while to even say anything after everything was talked about around her.

"Stay alive... at least... stay alive.", she'd mutter under her breath, she closed her eyes, falling silent for a moment- the breathing was still slow, and she barely even moved anymore.

He'd live. he'd escape. it'll be fine. He made a promise. It will be fine.

Right?

[15:33] "You say that, but I think even with what strength I have on me i'll be able to at least make a difference. Every ounce matters, you'll never know."

Kakusei replied. He knew he wasn't exactly as skilled or as powerful most warriors in Esshar, but he was confident in the potential of numbers. And even then, he's escaped the merciful grasp of death countless times, so he wasn't exactly as worried.

"I'll make use of what I have. If you can't risk having me get hurt- then I may as well say the same about you, so just don't test how stubborn I can get."

And with that, he's decided to tag along. Whether Revan likes it or not, Kakusei might attempt to attend the fall of the comet and lend a hand in...!(assuming timezones ain't a bitch.)

[15:41] Lilith would sigh, walking over to Fenes' side and wrapping her arms around her. Trying to make her more comfortable and calmer. Rubbing her back and just hearing her breathing. She didn't know who died, but she had to comfort her sister the only way she knew how.

"I trust Revan... He's not stupid enough to die..."

Demons were strong, she's never fought one before, nor seen one, but she trusted in Revan's ability to handle whatever was thrown at him. She would just continue to hug Fenes, trying to reduce her stress and anxiety, trying to calm her down.

Revan is strong... And he wouldn't leave me all alone right?

[15:50] His hues would drift to Kakusei, insisting that he would attend with Revan. Maybe he had a point, there were strength in numbers. "Very well.. I will do my best to watch your back.. if you watch mine.. But.." There would be a click of his tongue, his eyes looking to Fenes and Lilith.

Fenes just didn't want to see him hurt, and Lilly gave him her trust.. But was it truly in his control?

"I'm.. Looking out for myself.. First.. Just know that."

[15:53] her arms would go around her 'sister', to hug her close, trying to be comforted for a bit. her head was on her shoulder for a while, before shivers were going down her spine. What should she be thinking here? Revan would probably be alright, but Kakusei will be hurt or die if Revan doesn't look out for him.. Why did Kakusei want to go to?

The Ookami didnt' say anything. Ears only flat on her head as she hugged Lilith tight.

[16:00] Kakusei nods once, "Fine by me." He stretched out his arms, then rested his arms down on the table, burying his face onto his arms as he rested and relaxed down for now.

He wasn't exactly one to run away from danger, rather; throw himself at it and suffer the consequences, the good and the bad of them. Whatever the comet may bring tonight, he held no fears.

[16:07] Lilith would just continue to hug her sister, nuzzling her and making her comfortable, while also trying to distract herself from the event that the two boys will attend. Just hoping that when they do see the comet that nothing too bad will happen to them.

She also started to think about what she could do instead. Trying to learn holy magic, talking to more people to understand. Regardless, she just hopes the two will stay safe.

"Don't... Just don't die"
