Thank you for the honesty. I hear and understand what's been said, but my own feelings on this situation with Alec are not so easily explained. Some of what you said is true, but it's not the complete story, and unfortunately I've no words to explain them. I can say things that I mean in the moment, but when I look back on it, I regret saying it. Therefore I don't believe it's in my best interest to respond further, nor ask for advice any longer. I've a bad habit of wanting validation when I'm feeling bad, even if I don't listen to it, and sadly the "I can't give you the same advice over and over and over again if you aren't going to listen to me," line has been said to me before, via Mai. I'll no longer seek it, seeing as I now realize how many problems that causes.
Thank you for being a good friend and dealing with my burdens for as long as you have. I'm happy that you have found someone as nice as Ron, and I wish you both the best in your future relationship. If you need me, you know where to find me.
