  1. Name: Verita
  2. Gender:F
  3. Age:18
  4. Race: Griffin
  5. Class: Lordblade (Rogue-Paladin)
  6. Racial Skills: Griffon Flight: Griffons can fly, and have a +1 bonus to dive bomb attacks from high altitude (making such an attack ends Flight). This is about as taxing as running at full speed.
  7.
  8. Falcon Burst: passive; Natural reflexes give you the advantage when faced with immediate danger. Your first action in combat is Instant in addition to its other properties.
  9.
  10. Skills:Brotherhood: locked, unique, passive, You have a partner who fights by your side through thick and thin. This classifies as a minion, but can be of any class with 5 skill points to spend, has 5 Hits, 5 Wounds, and standard racials. However, if your Brotherhood partner dies, you cannot get a new one (unless you revive your original one).
  11.
  12. Word of Power: Use a mix of authority and your own personal methods to extract information from a target that you would not normally get from basic means. In combat you can force an enemy to miss their next attack. On Crit you render the target helpless.
  13.
  14. Retaliate: automatic, recharge 3 after effect triggers; Brace your body to unleash vengeance on one target. After three turns, you deal out damage to them equal to all damage you took during those three turns, with wounds counting as 5 hits. Going Helpless before the end of the three turns causes the effect to release instantly. Crit Fails don’t add to this effect.
  15.
  16. Spellbreaker: recharge 2, ranged; Purge a target, nullifying a spell they are casting or removing a magic effect on them. On Crit you may purge their body of magic, removing all magic effects on them and preventing them from casting any spells next turn.
  17.
  18. Rupture: recharge 1, weapon; Rip into a target to inflict a grievous wound. Deals damage and causes them to bleed, losing 1 hit a turn for 2 turns. If you hit a target with this while they still bleed, the duration is set back to 2 turns. On Crit you rip your target open, increasing the bleeding damage by 1 hit and extending the duration by 2 turns.

  28. Race: Umbrum
  29. Class: Warlord (Bard-Paladin)
  30. Racial Skills: Shadow Essence: instant automatic, recharge 4 after effect ends; Shed your disguise and return to your true form of shadows for three turns. While in this umbral form you are immune to all stuns, bindings, and status effects; and you purge all effects on you when entering this form. You are treated as being made of smoke in this form, allowing you to pass through any gap, space, or opening, no matter how small. If you roll a Critical Fail while in Shadow Essence, instead of being rendered helpless you instead suffer a stacking -1 penalty to all your rolls for the remainder of Shadow Essence. Using this form out of combat can instigate fear and/or hostility.
  31.
  32. Curved Horn: passive; You possess a horn similar to a unicorn’s, but with a distinct curve. This acts as a basic catalyst for casting spells.
  33.
  34. Torment: recharge 3; Amplify a target’s negative emotions, fueling their strength with hate and rage. They suffer a -2 penalty to their next non-automatic action, but that action will have either double the duration, if it has one, or will deal double damage. If it does not have a duration effect or deals damage, then it has double the effect of what it does normally. If the skill is made automatic, rerolled, or has its result changed by any means, Torment’s effect is cancelled.
  35. Skills: Command: On success, Convince a sentient creature to become your permanent minion. Unyielding: Will require a higher DC.
  36.
  37. Cheap Shot: recharge 1, weapon; Outside of combat this skill is automatic and renders the target helpless. In Combat deals damage and on 9+ it renders the target helpless.
  38.
  39. Improvise: automatic instant, self, recharge 3; Tossing a solution together can be better than stopping to make a plan. Your next roll succeeds on DC-3 but cannot crit.
  40.
  41. Lay on Hands: instant, recharge 3, spell; Fully restore a target’s hits. This may be used while helpless. On Crit you shield your target with holy magic, causing them to take half damage next turn.

  49. Aimed Shot: weapon; Take aim on an unexpecting target. If this is your first attack on your target this combat or if you have not dealt damage to them in the past 3 turns, then this skill becomes Automatic and deals 3 damage.)
