both!!!!! any wonhui all wonhui is the best to write...seriously whenever i drift away from writing wonhui for too long i get so sad...and i struggle so hard to get through whatever it is i'm working on if it's not them lol.

i think...it's hard for me to write them as a side-pairing, but not because i don't enjoy it. more because i like them and care about them so much i end up focusing on them too much - so when i finished over a long road i thought to myself wow a soonhoon reader is gonna hate this bc they're practically secondary to wonhui...i actually find it MORE fun to explore wonhui from a side-ship perspective because i get to adopt the eyes of someone else? i think wonhui are sort of mysterious all the time but in the sense that sometimes we think about them or see them some way but actually it's more unexpected...like...how do i put this...i've mentioned this before but like in 2017 when we saw so much of jun bothering wonwoo and like only under a close microscope you notice those incidents were actually instigated by wonwoo? it's just that he was more subtle so they went under the radar? so i think in general if you're not scrutinizing them your sense of them might be skewed, or they might suddenly hit you and you're like whoa where did that come from...and i think with a non wonwoo or jun main character i can capture that sense more...like the way soonhoon saw wonhui vs. the way wonhui saw wonhui was very very different...and it's so much fun...maybe because i haven't spent as much time with them like that? but i would do it again and again if only i could care enough about another ship to write them as the side pairing!!!!! lol

but the thing is i also really enjoy writing them as main...bc i enjoy slipping into wonwoo's pov and jun's pov SO much...i love writing them both and being able to see from both their eyes in different situations??? getting into the wonwoo's headspace mode is not only easy it's like really hard to shake myself out of it lol. one of the reasons it's so much fun tho is bc i think, despite wonwoo being introspective and thoughtful, he's actually incredibly myopic when it comes to himself? so writing the actions and words of other characters and making things obvious to a reader without wonwoo's realization is so much fun for me...and jun too i love sort of taking on these slightly obtuse characters and crafting a story so a reader can see their surroundings better than they themselves can...but also presenting their thoughts and stuff so you can understand why they're the way they are? and navigating all of that, challenging myself to cleverly piece things together, that's like the problem solving type of thing i love...i find it so much fun...god...wonhui is so great...i wanna write wonhui so bad...i wanna write all the wonhuis...
