- >Luna wasn't really a big Black Sabbath fan.
- >But after being hounded to give them another try, she sat in her room with her vinyl on full blast as she let her mind wander.
- >Mainly thinking about the devil.
- >Her parents would have a field day with that one.
- >But so would Lucy.
- >"Hey Lucy, how do you actually, y'know, make a deal with the devil?"
- >Lucy looked at Luna with a face that shone with excitement and ecstasy.
- >That night, the backyard was set up with candles and a chalk ring.
- >Weird characters from a language unknown to any man filled the ring, and Lucy chanted a song of summoning.
- >"Hey, Lucy, are you sure this will work?"
- >Lucy gave no response, only pausing to stare at the ring.
- >The chalk glimmered momentarily, then stopped.
- >Both summoners stared at the chalk ring with expectant eyes.
- >"Boo! Hahahaha!"
- >Luna turned around to see Luan.
- >"Luan, what are you doing. Can't you see we're summoning the devil, love?"
- >"But I AM the devil!"
- >Luan pointed to the horned headband she wore.
- >"And I'm going to give you what your heart desires in exchange for your soul!"
- >Lucy and Luna both frowned.
- >"No thank you. We quite need our souls, Luan."
- >"Aw, come on, you don't need those as much as the big guy says you do I'll give you a fiddle made out of gold and diamonds and platinum! Whaddaya say?"
- >"Go finish your homework love."
- >"Oh, alright. I'm going back to hell then. Say hi to Haiku for me, Lucy."
- >With that, Luan walked back inside the house.
- >A pie whistled its way past Lucy's face and plopped on the ground.
- >"Shoot, I missed!"
- >"Luan, don't throw stuff at me after wasting our time!"
- >"Huh? What do you mean?"
- >"Weren't you just down here a second ago?"
- >"Lucy, you can ask literally everyone here. I haven't left my room. I promise."
- >Luna sighed.
- >"Well love, I don't think this devil summoning thing is quite for me."
- >Lucy seemed unhappy, but understanding.
- >"Let's go get some dinner, shall we, love?"
- >The two headed back inside, unaware that the candles had blown themselves out and the chalk ring had faded into nothing.
