She shrugged and stood up, strolling over to him with a curious expression.

"Neo?" The diminutive girl paused before him, tilting her head to the side as she seemed to inspect him up and down. It took him a second to realise she wasn't the only one in a new outfit. He was wearing the same thing he'd worn on his date with Glynda.

To his embarrassment she leaned in to sniff him.

To his horror, that seemed to be enough. The girl lifted two fingers to her mouth, made a V shape, and then started to poke her tongue out between them.

For a moment her expression seemed to waver, and he wondered what he was about to witness – then she froze, eyes glancing down to his arm, before she sniffed again. A second later she was flinching back, wringing her hands as though she'd touched something desperately unclean. Jaune's face twitched.

"You know, I did have a shower."
