I gotta tell ya, 2023 was quite the journey for me, doods. I got a new job. I got new aspirations. I got to thinking how I wanted to do the streams going forward and tried a few new things. When it came to implementing the changes I was considering, I started thinking...

and thinking...

and thinking...

and thinking...

and thinking...

I took a break so I could have more time to carry out the changes, but I've just kept thinking about to rearrange my stream. I've kept thinking about how to present the speedrun tournaments.

I haven't really done much.

It's time to start putting the ideas down and get into the editing booth. Videos, images, sounds, every idea I have for the presentation of the stream needs to be put into action. The script for the tutorial series needs to be finalized so I know which B-roll I need to record and pull. I need to get in there and start doing shit.

2024 is the year of doing. This year, I'm going to do whatever I can think of to make the stream better for you, doods. I'm going to

JUST!

DO IT!

Dood, I just used that bit. Maybe this is why I should stop thinking for so long...

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals (actual priority is in constant flux):

Goal #5: make a universal LPS broadcast layout that can be quickly adapted to multiple games. There's a Super Puzzle Fighter tournament soon that this needs to be ready for.
Goal #6: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts left to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. This is the big thing I hope to get done before the next tournament.
Goal #7: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.
Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.

Streams are on hold until I accomplish these goals (or February 2). Anything I decide to do will be of the guerilla variety and have very little notice. There would probably have to be community races of some sort in order to get this to happen.
