  4. Part 1: Disabling Real Time Protection

  6. 1. Head to the settings
  7. 2. Press on "Update & Security"
  8. 3. Go to "Windows Security"
  9. 4. Open the "Windows Security" by pressing "Open Windows Security"
  10. 5. Press on the "Virus & threat protection" on the left side
  11. 6. Press on "Manage settings" right below "Virus & threat protection settings"
  12. 7. Turn "Real-time protection" off and allow the action in the pop up, if asked to do so

  15. Part 2: Download the Mod Menu

  17. Chromium based browsers:

  19. 1. Go to the wanted menu's download page and download it.
  20. 2. If/when your Chromium browser blocks the download, press CTRL + J and press "Keep anyway"

  22. Firefox Browser:

  24. 1. Go to the wanted menu's download page and download it.
  25. 2. Select "Save File"
  26. 3. If/when your Firefox Browser blocks the download, press CTRL + J
  27. 4. Right click the downloaded file and press "Allow Download" and confirm by pressing "Allow download" again
  28. 5. Extract the files to your preferred location and make sure all included files are in a folder together

  31. Part 3: Saving the Menu and adding an Exception/Exclusion (Windows Defender):

  33. 1. Follow the steps from Part 1 Step 1 - 6
  34. 2. When you are on the "Virus & threat protection settings" page, scroll down to "Exclusions" and press "Add or remove exclusions"
  35. 3. Press "add an exclusion" and select "Folder" in the dropdown
  36. 4. Locate the folder you downloaded in Part 2
  37. 5. Press "Select Folder" after pressing the folder and allow the action in the pop up, if asked to do so

  40. Now you have added the menu to the exclusions so Windows Defender will leave it alone.
