You don't understand how much I dread the day 9/11

I was a wee kid when it happened.
Got a new Game Boy Advanced the day before.
Went into kindergarten the day after it happened and brought my GBA.
All I wanted to do is show my classmates my GBA but everyone decided to shun me and tell me I was being inappropriate and heartless.

All I wanted to do was have fun... I didn't understand what was going on...
Why wasn't anyone impressed...

It should have never happened.
