Željko Kerum shared his opinion about the media, and it was quite unexpected!

Not only has Željko Kerum decided to publicly share his opinion about the journalists and the media in general, he also had an unexplained and unacceptable outburst of anger. Born on September 25, 1960, he is known as a Croatian politician and an entrepreneur. Željko Kerum was also a mayor of Split (2009 - 2013), after which he was unsuccessful in qualifying for the second round of elections. Some of you might have even heard about his supermarket chain ‘Kerum’ which folded in 2012.
Even though he is quite famous now, he was born in a small village in the Dalmatian hinterland, called Orgorje. He always loved school, and he graduated from a high school in Slipt Croatia, called the Technical High School in 1978. Željko Kerum also spent a year in Iraq working on military bases, in 1981, when he got his first job with the construction company Melioracija. Željko Kerum was able to start his business career by founding a company in 1989 named Kerum, as he also opened his fist convenience store a year later. In 1996, Željko Kerum opened his first supermarket in the neighborhood of Split.
In 2003, he bought the industrial facilities of Diokim, and in 2007 Željko Kerum opened the Joker Shopping Mall, which is currently the largest shopping mall in Dalmatia. However, while from a different perspective Željko Kerum would seem as a person with dignity and a person of stance, he can be quite difficult to talk to. When the media stops him for questioning he usually stops with a smile and replies to all of the questions. But, a recent incident tells a different story.
As a number of journalists stopped him to discuss the recent topics of the reelection of the mayor, he stopped with them and began to answer the questions. When one of the younger journalists asked him about the money he owes to other people, Željko Kerum became very defensive and rude to her; “I do not owe money to anybody, how can you state something without proof?” he yelled, after which the girl showed him some valid proof. Outraged, Željko Kerum began to yell at the young journalist even more: “You might not pray and kneel before God but I do! He sees everything that you are saying and all the lies that you are making people believe. Who even gave you that microphone!?”
While Željko Kerum might not be in debt, he does owe money, so that little outburst was a bit surprising. However, does he intend to apologize once he has calmed down or not? Since, no matter from which perspective you look at it, the journalist had nothing to do with the facts, especially since he was the one who accepted to be questioned. Knowing the previous actions of Željko Kerum, we highly doubt that he will ever speak of this incident, and if he is asked about the subject, he is bound to ignore it.
