- By now you would have been listening many rumors that syllabus of MCAT has been changed and the merit criteria is also changed. None of these is true. The syllabus and merit criteria would be announced near fsc exams.
- Most probably the syllabus and merit criteria would be the same as that of last year. Yes, there can be a minor changes in the syllabus but not much. So below are the topics which you need to cover for MCAT. The syllabus as posted by uhs on their site is not clear to all so we posted it an easier manner.
- Note: This is according to the books of FSC.
- Physics Part One

- Dimensions are very very important, at least one of them is asked in almost every test including mcat!
- Plus you have to prepare the quantities and their units from here.

- Do learn the biological names, from animalia and plantae kingdom mostly biological names are asked or it is given and you’r asked the common name, ONLY from the MENTIONED topics

- From start to coelomates and then,
- Porifera: only thing to remember is the name of organisms in this phylum. A question might come asking what is the characteristic of this animal (belonging to porifera) just keep in mind its regeneration capability is maximum, it can grow even from a single cell!!
- Cnidaria: again names and coral reefs
- Platyhelminthes: names *_* that is examples Dugesia, Fasciola, Taenia and infestations and disinfestations
- Aschelminthes: names of given examples + importance(parasitic diseases)
- Arthropoda: Economic importance
- Don’t learn the examples or anything about any other phylum! Just behave as if dey don’t even exist :D

- Complete
- Mainly questions are like how many moles of ATP are produced in glycolysis or this,
- how many are utilized, what is the net result, bla blain ETC, final electron acceptor is?

- Digestion in man, though diseases are not mentioned yet I did them last year :D choice is yours!
