  1. EURYALE GORGON:
  2.
  3. The first ally Jade recruits into the House of Glass. A Gorgon from the Monomyth Action game series (with minor RPG elements), which has a variety of games set in different world mythologies, but all within the same shared world. She was the second born daughter to the sea gods Keto and Phorcys, who existed in the Wild Sea separate from the domain of any of the Olympian Gods, and grew up alongside her sister in the caves of a far off island, sheltered from interactions with humans, other than hearing her father's stories of their endless desire for land, wealth, and satisfied desires, as well as their barbarity towards each other and tendency to go to war, leading Euryale to see them as frightening monsters, the same way humans saw monsters like the Gorgons. Her life was simple as her parents, being Gods, provided her and her sister all they needed, and her mother even gave her and Stheno two magic rings which would grant them immortality as the Gods have, so long as they remained on the island. Eventually their parents had a third daughter, named Medusa, who was an even brighter spirit than Euryale herself, and spent more time on the shores of the island than on the caves. However, one day, a group of human explorers from Athens arrived on the island, and found Medusa, and when they looked upon her face, they turned to stone, frozen like statues. This horrified the young medusa... but concerned their parents even more, for they knew that soon, more humans would come in search of the lost part. And so more humans did... and with each group that came, it was revealed the face of each sister had an adverse effect on humans - Medusa petrified those who looked upon hers, Stheno instantly killed those who looked upon hers, and Euryale gave nightmarish visions to those who looked upon hers, and potentially permanent madness if looked upon for too long.

  5. Eventually, a scout managed to escape looking upon the Gorgons' faces and fled back to land, spreading the legend of the three Gorgon sisters, and how only one of them was mortal. Several decades later, a warrior came to the island they lived upon. He was called Perseus, but the inhabitants of the island saw him only as an intruder wearing savage Greek plate... and, sure enough, using a foul trick, he beheaded Medusa, strapping her decapitated visage to his shield, before leaving with barely a care. The whole family that dwelled within the island was struck with grief and mourning, especially as while the parents wanted to do something, they knew that gaining the scorn of the Olympians would mean certain doom, and so the family was left to its grieving. However... Euryale wanted revenge, she was full of a hate deeper than any other hate, and so, one evening, on the suggestion of a black haired woman with golden eyes who visited her on the beach one day, threw her ring into the ocean, before salvaging one of the boats of prior visitors to the island, and set off... Once she had arrived at the mainland, she immediately began training as an assassin, specializing in hunting humans, in hopes that he could one day find the dmei-god Perseus... and strike him down.

  7. Euryale's personality is not excessively focused on her desire for revenge, despite it being her central motivator. While it's a core part of her personality, her overall personality is more mellow and relaxed, and even a little fun/cute, owing to how she starts as an enemy in the source before becoming an ally in most routes. Her deep cynicism regarding humans however is a core element, and she sees most humans as bastards who not only reject everything other than themselves, but viciously infight with each other rather than peacefully cooperating. In general, since her opinion of humans mostly springs from being nearby ancient Greece, she overall sees humans as excessively chauvinistic and misogynistic as well, though she isn't exceptionally preachy about it, and is a rare heterosexual character of mine. Despite her dislike of humans, she allies with characters like Florence and Jade because she sees them as "humans as monsters" rather than pure humans, due to how they were outcast or betrayed by other humans. She is often surprised when a human who she does not see as a "human monster" acts kind or fair, being used to the idea humans are bastards who hate each other as much as they hate the unknown. This is not enough to shake her of her mission however, though she does admit that her vendetta MIGHT be just limited to evil humans... don't count on it though, punk! Her attitude is the most boyish of her sisters, though she does have a somewhat feminine side to her at times, and can't really be called truly masculine. She feels bad about how most people cannot see her face, due to the visions and madness it inflicts.
  8.
  9. Her relationship with the other House of Glass members varies a bit. She has utmost respect for Jade as a leader, due to both her intelligence and how she sympathizes with her belief humans will betray each other at the drop of a hat, but finds others like Smokemirror and Florence to be rather annoying, and is outright terrified of Meme. Her best relationship is with Solai, who she becomes the sort of partner to, often working together. Her annoyance with Smokemirror's antics is especially troublesome as she needs his amplification Deltaforce in order to control the visions her power creates, rather than having no control over them. Her relationship with the Protagonists is complex, seeing them as a bunch of humans (and indeed, often ridiculing them for their lack of non-human members during the pre-citadel arcs), but also doesn't treat them as harshly as some of the other HOG members do. In particular, her relationship with Akira is complex, being dreadfully annoyed and often outright infuriated by his more chauvinistic or ego-filled side, but also having somewhat of a crush on him for how genuinely he wants to help people and how horrible he feels for not being able to do it well. The one member of the protagonists she truly dislikes is Aine, due to how he hates all Vampires and similar beings, regardless of circumstance. She sees herself as a represenative for monsters not just in her world, but all worlds in general, and as such is extremely disheartened when faced with the truly inhuman enemies that are the Crossbones for the first time, especially Krys, one of the two human members alongside Amelia who she sees as the worst type of traitor imaginable. She has a little bit of an overconfident slant to her personality, especially regarding her skill as an assassin, and likes to sarcastically mock her enemies in battle, though not as much as Florence does.
  10.
  11. Euryale mostly relies on her skill with her sickles and her acrobatics, as she's an insanely agile fighter and even better with movement, capable of advanced sneaking, parkour, long running and battlefield acrobatics, making her insanely slippery and hard to deal with, notably without relying too much on advanced speed, though she is rather fast. In addition to her sickles, which are sharp enough to cut through bronze armor, she wields fire bombs, smoke grenades, and a poison blowdart launcher. The snakes in her hair are also poisonous, but just inflict a mild paralytic effect rather than anything life threatening. Her most useful power is the curse attached to her face, which induces nightmarish and surreal visions in people and can even drive people permanently mad if active for too long. However, they are indiscriminate, and thus are a threat to her allies as well as her enemies. When her hood is down, she can also use her hair for 360 degree sight. When amplified by Smokemirror, she gains stronger and more encompassing visions, and can also consciously control how they manifest.
  12.
  13. Euryale wears a simple white top which completely exposes her waist and midsection, with a red scarf around her neck and red lining on her top, which is made of prominent, visible strips of fabric, with small indents of greek lettering in these strips, seemingly telling the story of Perseus murdering Medusa in a tone that portrays him as the villain. She has a white hood attached to this top, with golden scales on the edges, and a red snake symbol woven into the back of the top. She wears a white rag over her face with red paint in the shape of a vertical, slit eye on the front, which she can take off at will when she wants to expose her face. Her snake hair pokes from the sides of this cloth, allowing her to see even when her face is hidden. She wears bronze shoulder plates that are rather simple in appearance, and has wraps of red and white cloth around her arms, held together by iron chains, with hooks at the side containing smoke grenades, 3 on each arm. She wears simple white pants a red belt made of several leather strips neatly tied together like coiling snakes, with a golden buckle. Below this belt is a simple skirt made from linked golden scales. She wears brown leather boots with red and white fabric banners on the sides with snake designs on them, and prominent golden buckles. She has a number of rings on her fingers, and at the back of her belt is a harness for her sickles, which have golden blades and red woven grips. There are also two pouches on her left pantleg, both containing fire 2 firebombs each.
  14.
  15. Her invitation read: "Euryale Gorgon, demi-goddess scorned by human hand, we hereby invite you to the Calling, the festival which crosses all worlds. Should you partake of our offer, you shall have a chance to find company in fellow monsters, hone your skills in preparation for the final mark, and, most importantly, take revenge on the one who so unjustly slew your beloved sister. Sign your name below, and the door shall open for you."
