  1. There are many types of darkness in the universe. Sometimes it’s barely noticeable, faint wisps of shadow that can only be seen under the closest scrutiny, shadow that may completely shroud before it is ever perceived. Other times the dark is malleable, supple, ever-changing, difficult to master and comprehend. At the same time darkness can be rigid, unyielding, impenetrable, like the utter black of the endless void. And every now and then the deep dark becomes an almost physical thing, a corporeal manifestation that is both impossible to ignore and terrible to behold. But there is one constant throughout, one commonality that all facets of night share.
