Meteor Pack ranks

Rank description:
Jarl- The main leader of the tribe. He gives out the major commands, and is first to breed with a new female.
Viscountess- Main female of the Jarl. She is second in command and hands out the Jarl´s commands to the rest of the tribe, and she may even make a few commands herself, if the Jarl allows it. Only the Jarl is allowed to breed with the Viscountess.
Baron- Third in command, is the one to lead the packs out on larger missions. The Baron will keep an eye on the tribe, to make sure everyone is in good health and behaving well.
Commander- The commander is the main leader of the smaller packs whenever the Baron isn´t around. He controls the hunting.
Warrior- Specially trained in a specific attack. He may carry unique weapons no one else in the tribe has.
Guard- A guard is placed around the territory and is to sit there until the Baron says otherwise. The guard is usually the first one to spot intruders or beasts, and is quick to report to the rest of the tribe by letting out a long loud howl.
Shepherd- The shepherd is usually away from the tribe for many months during spring and summer season, as they have to stay with the herd of cattle to keep them safe and make sure they aren´t walking too far away from the territory. He herds the cattle to new feeding grounds and back to the tribe.
Herbalist- The herbalist collects various plants and berries that are crucial for the survival of the tribe. He may go off on long travels to find a specific herb, and so can be gone for several months at a time. While on his travels, he will also mark out certain spots and memorize where he has gone, and later report back to the Jarl if he saw anything significant on his journey that the Jarl should know about.
Passage Keeper- He is to sit at the entrance of the passage that connects the territory to the outside world. He has to keep the passage fully stocked with branches and fire matches, to ensure that any dog that has to use the passage can walk through it safely.
This job is exhausting and terrifying, as the dog has to sit and listen to all the screams coming from the night beasts on the other side.
