Stream Summary: 2020-12-27, Snack Usada

Disclaimer: These have been getting very long lately so I put this here to hopefully prevent someone from misunderstanding.
These summaries are never intended to be 100% of a stream, so regardless of the amount of autism I pour into these don't expect these to cover every topic talked about in a stream, if I didn't include something then it is most likely because I didn't understand the segment enough to confidently write it down or I didn't think the segment was something that would be interesting to others.

>Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora Version
This Snack Usada is the long awaited one where she decided to drink the alcohol that was made in collaboration with 明利酒類(Meirishurui) and Ume-sensei(Madoka, Hidamari Sketch, etc). She has yet to open the one she got herself and at the start is having trouble finding it because she had put it around her desk corner.
She will also be drinking from the Pekora-themed glass that was released as separate commemorative goods along with the alcohol's initial release(https://booth.pm/en/items/2553568), this will be the first time she drinks it.

>PekoMama
The chat is filled to the brim with questions regarding PekoMama's presence or lack thereof and she eventually acknowledges it and says they are being persistent. She says that she didn't intend to call her over to drink together with her since as soon as she is done tasting it Pekora will have her go back as she wants to leisurely drink, and she asks if that is fine then? Chat says they want her to taste it for the first time together with her mother and she says alright and goes away to get her.
She returns and after some apologies for the delay she tells Mama to introduce herself but all that comes out is a quick うん which gets Pekora laughing saying that her Mama is laughing a lot so she goes ahead and starts pouring the drink. She pours into her glass and refreshes her Mama's memory regarding what alcohol it was, showing her the Pekora on the bottle, her Mama calls it cute and finds the whole thing amazing. Pekora hands her the glass and her mother asks; "Only this much?" and Pekora responds with "Of course, it is Pekora's drink after all", she finishes and hands over the glass to Pekora and she Kanpai's and drinks.
Pekora finds it very tasty as well as commenting on how sweet it is, her Mama agrees that it is very sweet as well as easy to drink. Pekora asks if she drinks Umeshu anything and her Mama says she does, then Pekora asks what kind she usually drinks and her Mama says that while she like more dry alcohol the sweet kind like this is also very tasty. Pekora is pleased with that remark and reads the chat and tells her Mama that everyone else also thought it was delicious and tells her to read it, the chat is moving far too fast for her Mama to read unfortunately.
Pekora reflects on that everyone seemed to like it and Mama says that's a relief, then Pekora says; "Well, bye then" and her Mama disappointingly replies with "Ee... Already?", Mama asks if she really only gets one gulp of it, and Pekora says that if there is anything over she'll give it to her, Mama asks her to please leave some for her and Pekora says she understands. Mama tries to sneak in a message for the listeners but Pekora interrupts her quickly so she can only get out a "Minna, Pekora...", she tells her to go back, thanks her and says good night while her Mama, in a coy tone, says "Bye～"
Pekora goes on a rant about how every time she sits here she tries to say something strange, in this case it was the sudden attempt at saying something along the lines of "Please continue to take care of Pekora", and that normally she isn't like this but as soon as she read the comments something happened and as well as when she brought her to her room she was grinning like crazy, Pekora found it scary and wondered what she will do if something happens, but she managed to quickly get the part over with and send her back. In any case she says that since Mama liked the alcohol she is going to save some for her and properly give it to her later after she has had some for herself.
Someone in chat says that she should tell her about the Horse racing from earlier today and she starts whispering, calling him a fool for bringing it up, and says that what if she looks into this stream later and finds out about it? What will she do then? A lot of Bakatare is being thrown at the chat while keeping her voice in a whisper.

>On the rocks kind of girl
She asks the chat if they are drinking it on the rocks and says that she herself went for ice from the get-go. Some in chat says they are drinking on the rocks but a couple also say they are drinking it straight(No ice). She finds that to be impressive since she herself is the type who can't really drink without ice.

>Hyakunen, Premium Umeshu and the results from that present(This is the clip being talked about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6F0IDVIwiE)
She says that roughly a year ago she got Hyakunen, Premium Umeshu as a present from a Nousagi and her first impression of this type of alcohol was that it had a very strong smell, even to the point of being foul(She apologizes for saying this just in case any Meirishurui staff is listening.) She hadn't drank such alcohol before at the time so she was unaware, but when she got it and opened it up on stream she reacted strong enough to the smell to even let out a; "It stinks", but then she drank it and found it be very, very tasty.
She then goes on to explain that it was because of a clip from that stream that everyone spread around Twitter that Meirishurui noticed and contacted Pekora and this collab could become reality, and she says that despite not being someone who is super excited about alcohol in general she was still picked for this and that never in her lifetime did she expect to have her own alcohol version be released.
She then goes on to say that it is thanks to everyone spreading it around and the one who bought her the present in the first place that this connection could be formed and that she's very grateful for it. She goes on to say that leisurely drinking your own alcohol version like this gives you a feeling like; "Ah, so this is Pekora's flavor huh?"
At this point someone in chat mentions that Meirishurui's Twitter account has also tweeted out Kanpai and she checks to make sure and thanks them for the collab. Someone in chat says he is still a minor and Pekora responds that on the day he becomes an adult he should really, really look forward to being able to drink her Alcohol, and goes on to include all those who currently can't drink it, saying that eventually their 20th birthday will come and at that time she wants them to drink it.

>Ume-sensei
Ume-sensei superchats her and the chat eventually gets her to notice it, causing her to go on a long spree of praise and gratitude towards her work, her inclusion in the collab, and also for allowing her to use the Pekora illustration as today's stream's thumbnail, something she didn't expect to ever be able to do. She also gets super happy that she is coming to watch her and when she notices that she is a member. The fact that she was able to do a collaboration with Ume-sensei is something she places high up on her "Happy 2020 occurrences ranking".

>Recently having fun and on a spree to do different things
She says that while she has had some times during the end of this year that has left her a bit dejected, she still says that recently she has been having a lot of fun, especially so in regards to challenging herself to try out different things and she brings up the fact that up until now all she'd think about was games, games, games, but lately she wants to try out different things and describes herself like a Pekora on an adventure.
Chat brings up the clay making stream as an example and she laughs and says that it was a really nice stream and that it was fun and despite her admitting she is bad at handicraft she says that she thought she really enjoys it. She brings up an example from her childhood where during "Art class"(Every country has different names for their recreational classes so I have no idea what to put here, please spare my neck) she'd be the type to ask the teacher to help her more than she'd work on her own, although now she finds that regular handicrafting is a lot of fun.

>Peko-chan cooking
It gets brought up and she says that she actually had plans to do a cooking stream on Christmas where she'd make cake but for some reason wasn't able to do so although she says she wants to do another stream like it in the future, despite it being on the opposite end of her regular game streams.

>The big Mario Kart tournament
She talks earlier a bit about her Mario Kart stream and how she decided to do it because of the unexpected break of Kanatan's stream, and 30 minutes was fine for something like Mario Kart. Her defeat made her get into the topic of the upcoming tournament where she wonder what she needs to do in preparation for it. Her goal this time is number one, so she is going to make sure to practice a lot in January alongside playing Yakuza 0 as well.
She asks among the Nousagi for a skilled trainer that can teach her and asks them what they usually do to train, if it is time attack? The chat confirms that it is time attack which helps in remembering the courses, as well as making sure she remembers shortcuts, and that she can also look at other players on Youtube for example to see how they play.
She remembers back to the previous one which didn't include Yonkisei or Gokisei and at that time she was in the same bracket as Okayu who just got back-to-back 1-2-1-2 wins every time and smeared Pekora, so aside from winning she wants revenge on the cat to get back at her.

>Botan collab
Confirms there will be a collab with Botan next year in January, nothing specific gets said about what it will be but it is planned. She really likes Botan and thinks she is very reliable.

>The Pekoland survey
The topic leading into this is Pekora realizing there are only 3 days left on the year and she wonders if she has anything left undone that needs to be done, she thinks for a bit but doesn't come up with anything until someone says Totsumachi to which she responds; "Yeah well that won't happen next year either" and laughs, but then someone mentions the survey.
She says that the graphing can already be seen but all the free-text fields have yet to be gathered together, she'll try to go through it somewhere between 28th and 30th, so the plan seems to still be this year. She says the data so far is pretty interesting and gives her a fresh view over her fan-base, although she still hasn't been able to properly look at the free-form fields as they haven't been finalized. Roughly 10,000 answered the survey and to her surprise there were a lot of Kaigainousagi.

>A short reflection on the year
She thinks even if something as good as 1 million happened within the year, she has a feeling that it was certainly a year with many ups and downs, for Hololive, Pekora, and the general surroundings, but of course despite all that meeting with everyone resulted in a lot of fun and happiness and for that reason she asks if we won't accompany her into next year again?

>Stream incidents, serious and not so serious
The talk continues into stream incidents in particular rather than the more overarching issues from someone saying that there really wasn't any stream incidents for her this year and she agrees saying that there really wasn't any, until someone brings up the one time she overslept(This stream is stuck in private hell still but it was on 2020/03/20 called 寝坊しましたすみません) she plays up the sadness and tells him that is something he must not say even if it was an incident after all and to please forget it, in the end she says that; "But isn't that roughly all the incidents?" and that far more happy things happened over that. She also reflects on that she hasn't even done a lot of bad things this year, at least not on the level of being chastised for it.
Someone brings up all the Minecraft pranks she has done and she laughs and says that those made everyone happy so it doesn't count as an incident. One slick nousagi says that she has done one bad thing, and that was stealing his heart. She laughs and says; "Peko-chan ended up stealing your heart? peko～ *wink*", then continues to say that is correct, she has charmed various people to fall in love with her.

>Yakuza 0 and New year's stream
She has a date set for when she is going to start Yakuza 0 which is going to be the 2nd of January.
As far New year's there will be a stream although she can't do one on the 31st since at that day there will be a series of streams on the main Hololive channel with various themes, Pekora will be participating in one of them playing ホロかるた(Karuta being a card game and Holo being Hololive naturally, so what I think is that it is just Karuta but with Hololive flair), so the 31st is out of the picture but she will do a stream on the 1st celebrating the new year.

>Fukubukuro(Japanese New year's tradition, various stores making lucky bags filled with random items that the customer can buy for cheap)
She asks if they will even be doing a Fukubukuro sale this year and the chat tells her that you can buy it via the Internet, the topic makes her remember Fukubukuro bags that were video game themed and how fun it was to open those, she then remembers that every year she'd see on Twitter people having taken photos of their bought bags that contained nothing but the same Pro Evolution Soccer game(This was pretty fun to investigate, she names it ウイイレ which is short for ウィニングイレブン which is what the Japanese call the Pro Evolution Soccer series. And probably because the shops never sold enough of these they seemed to make bags filled with nothing but a game from this series and I guess it became sort of a running joke to get one these "lucky" bags. This was something she was confused about but made her laugh a whole lot every time she saw it, although also seeing that made her shy away from buying a bag herself since she didn't want to get a bunch of unneeded things.
She says that she'd like to buy a bag and do a bag-unveiling stream but of course the circumstances behind that might be difficult. She remembers that Fubuki has asked her manager for help regarding buying one and Pekora spins an idea that if she asks her manager to buy and deliver one for her and then she can make a stream reacting to the contents, perhaps, although first she says she has to think about what kind of bag she'd like to buy.

>Free from avarice
The talk leading into this topic is that ジェラートピケ(Gelato Pique, clothing store that seem to specialize in home-wear/sleep-wear kind of stuff), had a collab with Animal Crossing that she missed since she wasn't aware of it and it had a sweater she found really cute, but since she couldn't get it she isn't dwelling on it.
And this leads into her talking about how if she can't get a desired item right away then she quickly loses interest in it, she is the type to give up easily when it comes to this sort of stuff, someone calls her an unmaterialistic rabbit to which she agrees with, and says that if it is something very important like equipment or her PC breaking, for example, then she'll immediately buy whatever it is she needs but in general she is not materialistic.

>Shopping with Miko
This topic follows the previous one where Pekora says that she isn't the type to often think she wants something and starts talking about the other day when she went shopping with Miko after their collab, and while she says it isn't greed but Miko amazed Pekora with her ability to make prompt decisions, this kind of personality trait seemed to really amaze her and goes on to say that it was Miko who said she wanted a scarf and Pekora then recommended a place that has a lot of them, and at the shop she'd see an object she liked and say; "Oh this is nice" and just take it right away.
Seeing that made Pekora think back to her school years since she thinks that was the last time she saw someone with that kind of immediate decision making power.

>Pekora's shop clerk anxiety
She goes on to say that it makes her rather jealous to not have the same kind of power since when she enters a store she'll think back and forth at length about her purchases and then from the rear a shop clerk will generally pop up to try and help her but when that happens all she starts thinking about is leaving, so she'll say something like; "Ah, this store isn't for me bye" and leave immediately. She thinks that she must really come of as the worst whenever she does so, but it can't be helped because she really can't deal with a clerk suddenly calling out to her and if it happens she'll end up leaving the store. She describes scenarios where she'll be approached and she'll think; "Why did you have to approach me I'm even wearing earphones to give off the feeling that I'm listening to something" and while thinking that she'll apologize and quickly leave the store.
She goes on to describe her thoughts in that it is fine to not approach her even if she is looking troubled because she is just thinking on her own, and she reflects on that a typical pattern happens a lot to her, which consists of her inability to decide quickly while looking troubled, which makes a clerk show up, which triggers her anxiety hard enough to make her leave and not buy anything
Hence why she tries to wear earphones to make it seem like she is fine and that they don't have to approach her but after all she thinks she exudes an aura that clerks can easily read since it is their job after all so they aren't as easily tricked.
The chat asks if she ever ends up being made to purchase something(As in the clerk convincing her) and she says no but then explains that she is the type that is bad at refusing someone, so if the clerk starts praising her saying it really suits her and such things she'll end up being persuaded to buy it. The chat then says that is exactly what they meant(She thought they meant that the clerk would literally ask her to buy something) and she laughs at that and continues to describe that she isn't the type of person who'll start an argument with the clerk instead she will just end up believing their words.

>Beauty parlor
Says that she has been searching around for a beauty parlor to go to for "maintenance" and since can't really handle a parlor that will have the beautician speak to you a lot she has been moving from place to place finding one that suits her, until she did a while ago saying it had great affinity with her, although she also says it was several months ago. In any case she got sick and had to cancel it and because of that she felt that it was too awkward to return to the parlor and started roaming again instead of trying again. At a new parlor she went to they asked why she came to their parlor and she responded that she had to cancel a booking for the one she always goes to and she felt that made it awkward. The clerk then says she is too gentle(She says 優しすぎます, and I'm unsure if "kind" is the right interpretation, it feels more like she is saying that Pekora is far too timid/worrying)

>Nousagi Minecraft server
Some talk about if they could make Pekoland in a Nousagi Minecraft server, and Pekora wonders how much a server actually costs and thinks it would be pretty expensive. A Nousagi in chat says that a server like that would probably fall into ruin and Pekora laughs and says that if she visited the server and found it to be in ruins wouldn't that be worrying?
Someone gives her the general pricing and says it would land on something like 3000 yen. That is much cheaper than she expected it to be and thought it would land on something like 10000 yen at least. She asks roughly how many people such a server can accommodate and the chat answers with 10 which she finds is too small of a number. From that she says that she doesn't really want the Nousagi to just be playing around anyways, in her streams it is fine, but outside of it they should be doing volunteer work like helping old ladies over the street-crossings and helping them with luggage instead of shutting themselves inside playing Minecraft all day

>Holosaba update
The topic of the Holo Minecraft Sever having been updated comes up and she says that she is planning on doing a stream on the 29th where she'll do some exciting things in the Nether. Chat tells her that her Iron farm is going to stop working and she gets sad saying she'll have to make a new version of it, she then worries that her TTT will also stop working but the chat thinks it should be fine. Someone else teases her and says that the TTT will also stop working and she says that in an instant Usada Kensetsu has gone under and if such a sad feeling really exists.
Some more people say that it'll change but Pekora says she'll be able to restore it someway or another since there are a lot of Minecraft experts in her chat to help her.

>UsaKen talk
Someone asks if Usada Kensetsu does interviews and she says that her company doesn't do stuff like that instead if there is someone that she thinks looks like a good fit for UsaKen, and while thinking if she should approach them, Moona will approach them on her own, something along those lines is what usually happens. So new members are scouted because of her work on the field. She says that she doesn't know what to think about having a lot of members in UsaKen and seems to rather settle on a select few.
Kiara also gets brought up regarding joining UsaKen and Pekora says that EN has their own server that they seem to play on and  that is isn't the same server. She wonders if it isn't possible to make a world-to-world connection.
Coco gets brought up by someone saying that she said she wants to join UsaKen and Pekora asks if that isn't the person Moona invited? In any case she says she'll welcome her.

>Weak to Alcohol
She is saying she is feeling lightheaded from drinking too much, and says that every time she drinks her face will immediately become very hot and wonders if the chat is as weak to alcohol as she is and asks how they are feeling. She continues and says that Alcohol is strange to her as she wonders why Alcohol gets people drunk like this, and it is the lightheaded kind of feeling that is very strange to her. They ask if she is snacking on anything and she says no, she has only been drinking Umeshu during the stream. Someone else brings up that another reason is because she hasn't properly been drinking water and she reflects on that constantly only drinking alcohol is surely making her body feel worse.
She finds some caramel popcorn and starts snacking but since both Umeshu and the popcorn is sweet, it becomes a bit too sweet.

>Voice training
A very short segment where someone asks if there isn't any voice training scheduled and she says that if there is a good place then she wants to do that next year

>Wants to play new games and general games conversation
The conversation leading into this is her wondering what she'll do tomorrow for the pre-PekoMari stream, she says she wants to do something new, which then leads into her thinking in general that she wants to play new stuff, like she really wants to play a new RPG and also a new survival type game, hence why she finds 7 Days to Die so fun.
And despite their Minecraft server getting updated she sounds like she is a bit burned out on it and would rather have some new survival game to play with everyone.
Someone brings up Terraria and she has seen a bit of it but haven't played it herself but her impression of it is that she don't think she'd get into it since when she was watching it, as a beginner, she just got the feeling like; "What is this?" and "I don't really understand" etc.
She says that for the time being there is Yakuza 0 to look forward to and since it is her first time playing it she is pretty excited about it.
Games like Subnautica, The forest, Fallout, and Rust gets brought up but it doesn't really get any reaction out of her. When someone brings up Raft she reacts saying she has played it before and got really into it although it was a long time ago.
The new Monster farm is brought up and she says that she can't play it until she gets the ok from Koei Tecmo, although she says that she really, really wants to play it.
One of her desires is to play a game where she can do something similar to the ドードー隊(i.e a game where you can raise something up to battle with you, is my impression).
牧場物語(Story of Seasons) gets mentioned and she says it is very nostalgic and it was a game she really loved back then.
Rimworld gets brought up and she remembers that she heard that Marine said she wanted to play it and it is something she also found interesting and has looked at a bit although she wonders if she would be able to play it(Referring to her skill rather than permissions if that was unclear)

>The Horse betting and wanting her own horse
A superchat about losing money on the betting kickstarts the conversation where she states that next year she'll win. This time she understood the way you should bet, although Saraki interested her she ended up not betting on him and she reflected on that a lot, saying that it was her bad for not being able to trust in him, and that you should bet on the horse that you have faith in regardless of bad data regarding the horse. So next year she'll do it again, although she laughs because she can't be sure how next year will look.
Goes on to say that the horses were really cool and that she wants her own named; "Pekora きｔら Impact" or something along those lines. She goes on to say that she wants to be a race horse owner and wonders if she can buy one, then wonders if she and the nousagi can't buy one, she then says that her objective for next year is to enter the race with their horse.
The chat then says that they don't think it is that easy to do, and someone else mentions that a horse costs a ton of money so is it still fine? Pekora reacts surprised and asks if it really is that expensive, then she states that if her own horse managed to win the race she'd definitely cry. Someone responds that the price can range up to even a 100,000,000 yen(They said 億がいる, so I assume this is the meaning it had), she naturally says she doesn't have that kind of money.
Finally someone from the chat knocks her back into reality by saying that this isn't a game you know, and she says; "Alright, lets stop this conversation then"
