Bret Hart took the stage to open the Slammies.

"I'm a man who values respect, and tonight is one of the most important nights of the year. This is the night where we stop and appreciate our sport. We appreciate our skill, and we appreciate each other. And one part of that, one big part, is the award I'm about to bestow. The best match of the year isn't just what's biggest. It's what's best. And the winner is..."

Bret fumbled a bit with the envelope, giving a little smile as he read the card.

"Oh hey! I'm in this one! Bret Hart vs Owen Hart vs Steve Austin vs Vader, Wrestlemania 13!"

Owen, Austin, and Vader all took the stage, and along with Bret argued over who was going to take the statue, before realizing Owen Hart had spirited away with it during the argument.
