  1. >You wake up with a start.
  2. >Your heart is beating fast enough to bruise some ribs, and your body is absolutely covered in cold sweat.
  3. >Your stomach hurts, you're breathing hard, and your clothes are wet enough that if you didn't know it was sweat, you'd be worried that you wet your bed.
  4. >In short, you feel like shit inside and outside.
  5. >What happened last night?
  6. >God, you can barely remember it.
  7. >You remember your sisters phoning you up.
  8. >You remember very distinctly that all four of them were there, which was always hard to accomplish.
  9. >Pinkie lives three states over; Maud is usually pre-occupied with her job half-way across the country; and Limestone and Marble are always busy on the old Quarry.
  10. >You have no idea how you all managed to free up a couple of weeks away from work and obligations to hang out at your apartment; all you know is that it took literally MONTHS of planning to organize this get-together.
  11. >Right, going back to what happened...
  12. >Limestone and Marble showed up first, early as always; you have to get up bright and early whether you work on an apple farm or a rock farm.
  13. >Next was Maud, who arrived without fanfare and carrying a case of her studies that she wanted to share with you; you didn't understand half of it, but you could tell from the subtle way she blinked a bit faster that was really excited to talk about her discoveries.
  14. >Finally was Pinkie, who took an early train and actually got here first; of course she didn't get here til nearly noon - she wanted to see what the city had to offer.
  15.

  19.
  20. >DONG DING
  21. >Who where?
  22. >You stumble out of bed, frantically groping around with your feet to find your slippers.
  23. >You find one (right where you left it) and the other right around your bedroom door (right where you kicked it).
  24. >You're still half-asleep as you stomp out of your bedroom and towards the front door, and the blurry sleep-crusties are still stuck in your eyes as you accidentally punch the doorknob a couple of times before you remember how fingers work and grab it.
  25. >You throw open the door and squint at whoever's bothering you this early in the morning.
  26. "Whuh - who's - what're you - why?!"
  27. >Two people push past you, and some asshole giggles at you.
  28. >Who are these people?!
  29. >"Nice look, Anon."
  30. >.....Oh.
  31. >Oh!
  32. >Whoops.
  33. >Your sisters are supposed to be coming in today, aren't they?
  34. "M-morning, Limestone," you yawn, "Marble."
  35. >>"G-good morning, brother."
  36. >Oh, Marble.
  37. >Of all of your sisters, Marble is the one who picked up most of Dad's weird way of speaking.
  38. >Who calls their brother, "brother', anyway?
  39. >"Could you put some clothes on already? I didn't wake up at 3:30 this morning just to watch my big brother walk around in his t-tight underwear."
  40. >That's about when your brain finally chugged to life and it occurred to you that you sleep in your boxers.
  41. "Shi-oot, sorry!" you scramble to cover your groin with your hands, unsure if you changed out of the underwear with the hole in the front, "I'll be right ba-"
  42. >"Oi, c'mere first."
  43. >Soft, strong arms wrap around your neck and pull you into a hug.
  44. >The distinct and distantly familiar smell of "Limestone" fills your nose.
  45. >You'd return the hug if your sister's body wasn't keeping your hands stuck in their protective position over your penis-place.
  46. >"More importantly," she whispers in your ear, squeezing you tight, "I didn't wake up at 3:30 this morning to let you walk away without giving me a hug."
  47. >Wow, Limestone's affectionate this morning.
  48. >Today promises to be a good one.
  49. >.....
  50. >...did she just sniff you?
  51. >You return from the bathroom after a quick shower, wearing fresh-ish clothes; just a simple jeans-shirt combo.
  52. >You step out of the humid bathroom and are immediately hit with the smell of coffee brewing.
  53. >The coffee maker clicks and hisses loudly, but the noise doesn't drown out your sister's conversation.
  54. >"-n't believe he stayed in shape."
  55. >>"It's truly vexing. He's been gone for so long."
  56. >Aww. You missed them too.
  57. >"Well, I'm certainly not complaining. I got a good whiff of his neck during that hug, and guess what?"
  58. >>"What?"
  59. >"He smells just as good as he used to."
  60. >Wait, what?
  61. >What the hell does THAT mean?
  62. >....ha! Ha ha!
  63. >B-boy your sisters sure are weird.
  64. >The... the isolation of the farm sure has...
  65. >Jesus.
  66. >Okay, you're going to pretend that didn't happen and that they didn't talk about how good you smell.
  67. >Because that shit's weird.
  68.
  69. -------------
  70. hours later
  71. -------------
  72.
  73. >Pinkie, being Pinkie, broke out the alcohol shortly after dinner.
  74. >Maud almost never drinks, and Pinkie actually went easy on the sauce for once.
  75. >Both of them retired to their beds/couches hours ago.
  76. >This left Limestone and Marble, the hard-working country folk who have to wake up too early in the morning to afford being able to drink, and who have the alcohol tolerance of babies.
  77. >Limestone leans into you and uses you as support as she pokes you in the chest with a finger.
  78. >"N-no! Y'don't un'nerstand, Anon. You don' get to jus' leave the qua-farm withou' saying goodbye first."
  79. >Limestone whips her head around, looking to Marble for support; the girl's fast asleep on her little couch, leaning up against the wall.
  80. >"Dangit."
  81. >Limestone turns around again and grabs you by the shoulders.
  82. >"THIS is how you say 'goodbye' to someone you love."
  83. >And the next thing you know, you're kissing Limestone on the lips.

  87.
  88. >Jesus, what happened after that?
  89. >Y-you mean, kissing your sister isn't THAT bad a thing to do, is it?
  90. >You could think of worse.
  91. >R-right?
  92. >Okay: think, Anon; think.
  93. >What happ-
  94. >The sound of sheets rustling breaks you out of your thoughts and sends terror screaming down your spine.
  95. >You're dead.
  96. >You're literally did; Limestone will kill you, take your body back to the Farm, and bury you deep in one of the mine shafts where nobody will ever EVER find you ever again.
  97. >Two soft, strong arms wrap around you from behind and hook their fingers.
  98. >Your bed shifts and you feel the warm pressure of bare skin being pressed against your equally bare back.
  99. >"Good morning, Anon~" coos the voice of Limestone.
  100. >You feel (and hear) a gentle kiss being pressed into the back of your neck.
  101. >"Sleep well, love?"
  102. >.....you know what?
  103. >Maybe kissing your sister wasn't as bad a thing as you thought it was..
