Internship canned rejection/hybrid

Hi {{Candidate first name}}!

Thanks for your interest in WebFX!

It was such a pleasure chatting with you, and discussing your skills and experience! You've accomplished so much in the last few years, and gained some awesome experience throughout your education and experience so far. While we were all super impressed with your credentials, I’m sorry to let you know that we will not be moving forward with your application at this time.

I wanted to let you know that we often fill our internships with recent graduates who are trying to get a foot in the door with WebFX. So the position you applied for might end up going to a college graduate, and it doesn’t have anything to do with your credentials - we only wish we had space to add more talented interns such as yourself!

 Thus, you look like a great fit at WebFX, and I wanted to encourage you to apply with us for a full-time position as graduation nears for you. We typically hire 15+ recent grads each year, and start our process ~9+ months prior to May graduations, so I’m sure a number of positions will be open at that time. We'd love to reconnect with you then!

We’ll do our best to keep things growing so that we can hire as many good applicants like yourself as possible in the coming years.

Sincerely,

~ {{Your first name}}
