["TIMELINE"/LORE]

Jessica and William met and started dating in high school, they were both fairly popular and even managed to be crowned prom king and queen. Continuing to date throughout college, Jessica found out she was pregnant about a year after graduating and William married her a month or two after the announcement. 9 months later their son Zachary Hall was born.

Jessica, heavily intoxicated from a girls night out, ended up cheating on William by having a one night stand with a hunky deer she met at the bar and, to her dismay, found out she was pregnant. Unable to bring herself to terminate, she lied to William and said they were having another baby. When William saw the baby wasn't his he walked right out of the delivery room, filed for divorce, and didn't speak to Jessica for many years.
Eventually feeling guilty for abandoning his child William reconnected with Jessica and now the two of them are on much better terms, though they never re-married.

Zachary lived a relatively normal childhood up until puberty when he started to develop breasts. He developed self-esteem issues, depression, and had difficulty making friends thanks to the stares and teasing he got because of his chest. He taught himself to cook and turned to food to cope with his feelings. When this was combined with the stresses of college he had managed to put on a lot of weight and thanks to his condition, a very feminine figure. Zach eventually came to be comfortable and even love his body, then decided to present as feminine and go by Zoey, with the support of her family.
By sheer luck Zoey met Catherine DeCatte at a restaurant after one of her shows, and thanks to a bit of alcohol and a LOT of food, they hit it off. After the meal Catherine invited her onto the tour bus and they started dating. Catherine was the one who encouraged her to try modeling and even set her up with her own fashion line, propelling her into stardom. She uses her career and platform to promote body positivity.

Drake struggled with feeling "responsible" for the separation of his family for quite some time, even though Jessica never blamed him for what was her mistake. His relationship with William is still somewhat tense, though they no longer actively avoid one another.
Drake did not go to college and does his best to remain self-sufficient. He currently has a day job, which he tries to keep people he knows from seeing him working at, as he feels like it'd ruin the rich bitch persona he's built for himself. Despite this, most of his income comes from his OnlyFans and camming.

Jessica and Zoey both love Drake unconditionally. They spend time together often, either shopping for designer clothes or simply enjoying each other's company. William is predominately active in Zoey's life, but has come to accept that Drake is blameless for what happened to his marriage.

At the moment the Halls all live separately, but try to remain active in each other's lives and get together whenever they can.

Jessica and William both preformed in their high school's rendition of "My Fair Lady". Jessica was so smitten by William's performance of "On the Street Where You Live" that she asked him out on a date after the show. William would sing the song again before proposing to her, as they considered it "their song".

Being raccoons (Procyon Lotor), a majority of the Hall family shares a compulsion to eat edible looking food out of the garbage. While most of them don't have issues curbing this impulse, Zoey is particularly guilty of indulging in this bad habit, occasionally going "dumpster diving" for the thrill of it.

@Day_Tripper_Guy's Isaac:
Isaac is one of the very few people Zach would call his friend. The two bonded over a shared love for music, even though their tastes don't always align. Despite their insistence they're "just friends" their relationship seems to lean more towards "friends with benefits".

@nyanillart's Cake DeCatte:
Despite breaking up, Zoey and Cake still maintain a "on-again, off-again" relationship that isn't always just a publicity stunt. The two are borderline inseparable, with most of their major disagreements ending in passionate sex. Zoey remains Cake's favorite booty call.

@CourageTheCat_'s Courage:
After meeting online through her sex work, Zoey helped Courage transition to a career in modeling and marketing her OnlyFans. Even though they're no longer dating, the two keep in touch and even occasionally work together.
