The Problem of Multiship.

Lamb was putting on a fancy black bowtie in the back of her store when sher heard the front bell ring. It must have been her lover, Evelynn. She truly loved the woman with her heart. But she wasn't the only one. She had her elven lover, Sera Nevis. She quickly walked out, greeting Evelynn with a small kiss to the cheek. She let the other lead them out to their car. Evelynn would kiss Lamb before she started driving. They spoke with each other on the way to the bar they were going out for drinks at, just as a small date. They quickly arrived, getting out of the car and entering the dim lit bar as the sun was setting.

She walked in the bar after Evelynn, slowly following behind her. She soon spotted a familiar face in the crowded bar. She wasn't very religous, but she prayed the woman didn't see her. The timing was horrible, that Sera had been at this exact same bar at the same time they had. She quickly hurried towards the bar, Ordering a drink quickly. She had felt the other's glare burning into her back but didn't dare turn around and make eye contact.

"Hey, come one. You awake?"

Evelynn would say, trying to pull Lamb out of her blank expression. She looked like she had just seen a dead body, and it was freaking her out. Lamb quickly snapped back to reality, looking into Evelynn's eyes as she had heard the soft approach of Sera's footsteps. She tried to ignored them, but couldn't. They were closing in fast as Lamb made conversation with Evelynn, just random things about the shop. She felt Sera's soft touch on her shoulder as she turned to face her, with her mask on of course.

L: "Hello Sera! What're you doing here?"

S: "Well, I came for a drink while you were at work. I thought you said you worked late tonight, babe."

E: "Woah, easy there. She's mine. Don't go calling her babe while I'm here. Or any other time. Got it?"

S: "Lamb, who... are you... cheating on me? After all I did for you, you just go to someone else? Someone who can replace me?"

Sera started tearing up, torn that Lamb had been seeing someone else than her. Her mind raced, wondering why her lover would cheat on her. She started running off and out of the bar, quickly leaving the two behind. Lamb couldn't do anything but watch as Sera ran. A growling tone from Evelynn snapped her back though.

"So, when did you plan on telling me about her? Or did you want to keep it a secret? You wanted to love someone else? You know what? Fuck you, Lamb. I didn't think you were like this, but I guess that's what I get for stepping away from what I usually do. Sleeping with others then killing them. I thought I'd be happy with you, but you... I never want to see your fucking face  again."

Those last words devasted Lamb. She went to apologize to Evelynn, tears flowing from under her mask. She was too late as Evelynn was already in her car, leaving Lamb to walk back. She quickly ran back to the store, seeing Evelynn take her things and starting to leave. "Evelynn, I'm so sorr-"

She was interuptted by a shove to the ground by Eve. The other looked into her eyes with pure hatred. "Get the fuck out of my way, you slut. I'll be glad never seeing you again." Evelynn simply drove off furious, leaving Lamb on the ground torn. She was broken. All she had left was her store. That's all she was holding onto as she cried herself to sleep that night, apologizing to both through the tears, hoping she was heard by one. She soon fell asleep, waking up terribly late in the morning, rushing to her register.

There was a yellow slip on the front door. Curious, she went over and picked it up, reading it before crumpling to the floor. The note simply read:

FAILURE TO UPHOLD PAYMENT
PUNISHMENT: REPOSSESSION OF THE LOT.

She... She had officially lost it all. She grabbed her bow and arrow and ran, not to anywhere in particular. She soon found herself deep inside of a forest, tears and sobs pouring out of her. She sat and thought for a long time before standing. She quickly pulled out her bow and readied an arrow. She wasn't pointing it forward, but rather backwards, at her own chin, hoping it'd pierce through her skull and end her life. She'd only say one last thing while standing there.

"Farewell Sera. Farewell Evelynn. I'm... so sorry. None of you deserved what I did."

A snap, followed by bright lights as Lamb felt her body fall limp to the floor, the sky coming crashing down onto her, seeming to absorb her into the afterlife. She no longer had to deal with the stress. The pain. The heartbreak. She was finally done. She had ended it all.
