TLDR: Everything is broken, working on fixing it

With my car getting flooded a few weeks ago, and now the hurricane flooding my neighborhood again, I'm still in the process of trying to catch up with fixing my car and trying to avoid this mess again. I live next to a lake of sorts, and my street gets overflowed even before the lake does, but when it does, my home becomes an island. This is the first time since moving here that I've seen this happen, so I guess when it rains, it pours. I'm getting used to having to bike and walk everywhere, which was very hard at first.

I tried troubleshooting, and I think my Dazzle has finally stopped working. I'm considering either getting a new one, at the risk of wasting money due to it not being the root of the issue, or waiting to get a HDMI capture card. Either way, the only way I can stream right now is directly from my PS4, and I don't have much to speedrun or casually stream from there. Chances are I will wait to continue speedrunning projects until I can stream consistently again.

Splatoon is going well for me. Just last night I got up to S+ 51 during Rainmaker, which was a nice boost in confidence. Also, Special Charge RG is still broken as mess in Turf War. I still have some gear I'm working on getting, so every now and then I might be save scumming, but it isn't anything important to me right now.

My personal project, let's just call it FC for now, is moving along nicely. I'm still in the writing and storyboarding phase, which I want to complete before I even think about the artwork. I'm steadily going through lots of potential files to use and incorporate into the idea. I hope to be done with the plot, or in a position where I can be finished and ready to start putting events into place, by the end of this year. I bought a cheap tablet, which I hope to use solely towards collecting everything into one place to work on. I have lots of time this week, so I hope to get into a habit of focusing on making this come to fruition in all of my spare time.
