this is used to tell the server required game version change the value "1.0.0" to what ever you want it just have to match each patch you put in your client that a show for your players.
Like :

"Admin I have a problem my client crash here cause of that and I have that version : 1.0.1"
"Then try to update we're in version 1.0.5"
 :)
That maintly used for this it doesn't have real tracking as the launcher compare files size.
