  1. i) Why did all people in Orissa and Chattisgarh decide to use red firecrackers, while those in Madhya Pradesh/Uttar Pradesh use cyan? Similarly, those in Andhra Pradesh and Orrisa border seem to like bright green and those in Nepal-Uttar Pradesh border region and Uttaranchal seem to like blue. ii) Why do states using the same color always come in pairs? iii) If this photograph was clicked at any instant then looking at the number of firecrackers at that instant, the total firecrackers used in one evening should exceed the total production. iv) And it can't be a long duration exposure as satellites around in the orbits don't wait in the same spot. v) China is apparently an enemy of ours; but that doesn't mean they'd purposely switch off their lights! vi) From all large cities, the light sources seem to "flow" out. People (afaik) don't use Intercity and Interstate highways only to burst firecrackers. vii) Large parts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand appear to be in dark while mostly all parts rural or urban appear to have uniform lighting on a large scale. viii) What's that red-yellow "thread" cutting through Rajasthan and Pakistan?
