  14. I am now opening an Amazon Seller account in Amazon UK as is not as saturated as the US version is.
  15. Then there is always the same question coming to my mind, Private labeling, or Peggiback listings?

  17. Private (or White) Labeling for those who are not familiar with the terminology is when you buy something in China, then you invest in logo, branding etc... And you upload that product in Amazon faking that you have a real company. For example, If I want to sell a yoga mat, and I bought it in China then I print a logo on it like "Yoga Masters". I can sell it for ￡9,99 with no doubt. While the plane version sells at ￡5.99. Good gap.

  19. Peggiback is when you are selling something into the Amazon Buybox, into the sellers listing. For example, If you have a GoPro you can go to whoever is selling GoPros in Amazon and sell your product there for less price, to have a share of the total sales.

If you have a product that is selling cool, and you're above your competitors in terms of sales, then magically someone can come to you, sell your same item, and upload the product in your listing, multiplying the price x2 or x3, and then if they win the buybox, your price will appear as the price they decided. With this strategy they can ruin your listing. And then take advantage and upload their product for less price to be the bestseller.

  23. So here is a thing, What happen if you peggiback a while label seller?
  24. Going back to the yoga mat. You buy 1000 yoga mats without logo, or packaging in china for less than ￡1/unit, Does anybody know what happen if you sell them in the listing for a really cheaper price in the seller listing? The customer will receive the same item but without the private labeling.

  26. Is it something that Amazon can take into consideration this for closing your seller account? I mean, I can see that every item in Amazon have another sellers selling it for less, and for higher prices. But I can't imagine how difficult must be to copy all the logos, and packaging, to make the copy looks equal when frankly is impossible and your Chinese fella won't make it look as good as the original seller.

  28. Does anybody here knows how are they doing to sell private label products for less price? I believe I can just hijack everybody with Chinese copies in Amazon for less and then get shares of their sales. But I need to ask this first to not get into prison. xdd

  30. Also, I want to know how the other strategy works. If I can actually sell something more expensive into the listing, to transform the price in the buybox to kill my competitors.
