The reason why the Team was quickly put together and the reason why we stuck together. It turned out we worked together quite well, even Anubis found his new assignment to us not as irritating as he thought it would be. Korra and Asami also became part of the team, living in the Mansion since it's basically our hub and main residence.

>> I Wanna Know What Love Is
So much self-control was needed on this mission, thank goodness for the girls. One night after the Quest, I found myself being visited by Aphrodite herself who came to show just how thankful she was, leaving me with blessing or two plus her girdle the next morning. Best part though is that my Solar Plexus felt so much less vunerable than before.

>> Angelic Oyakodon
This one was a bit of a mess, thanks in part to Eros' kidnapping tipping off that the demons were making their move, which was made evident a week later when we had to go to France to find and rescue a pair of angels, and we had a lot of demons and monsters to deal with in the process. In the end though, thanks to Karima, the pair managed to be secreted away as the rest of us distracted the demons pursuing them. It was decided after everything that the two should stay with Anubis, so that he could protect them far better than we could. What really surprised all of us though was that Brynhildr officially acknowledge my command over her, as she explained it, she really liked what she saw in the way I ran things in our missions so far.

>> The Witch's Isle
I'm not proud of myself in this, particularly since we recieved an urgent missive from Atlantis. Having the Witch drag the members of the team into some "game" of hers where she wanted me to be her plaything...I snapped. The girls do not remember anything of what happened after they were transformed, and quite frankly, I'll like to keep it that way. That relieved and thankful smile she gave me before I killed her was something that I will never forget.

>> Under the Sea
When we finally reached Atlantis, we found that things weren't as bad as we had feared with Circe's interference, but the Kaiju were still incoming. Anubis wasn't with us because he was protecting the Angels in the House of Knowledge, the demonic forces after them were still searching, but we had grown since the beginning, so something like this was definitely something we could handle. At the end of it all the Queen Ariel made good on her promise to join our cause, even swearing to wield her father's trident whenever she was called on. However, she had her own duties so with a whisper of the secret of Aeaea where she could basically be on standby without needing to venture too far from her people, we left.

>> The Gorgon
She looked so tired. I think that was the worst thing really, aside from Annabeth's expressions of naked shame at her Mother's actions. The mission was supposed to be a straight-forward kill the monster, but it was odd how she made herself so obvious to anyone on her trail, so I had a few suspicions. Unfortunately, they were proved correct when I talked with her, she was trying to commit suicide by cop. Luckily, we managed to talk her into signing up with us, going as far as to shelter her under Anubis' protection since the only other truly secure location was an island and she had had enough of dealing with anything to do with Poseidon. All we need to do is to devote as much time and energy as I can to reversing an ancient divine curse...shouldn't be too hard.

My first general quarters mission where I was part of a larger force, it was both awe-inspiring, and quite frankly terrifying, but Bastet herself came to us to give the mission, wouldn't do to disappoint one of the Guardians of Ra after all. We stood alongside other champions and gods, even the residents of the House of Knowledge coming along with Anubis and Ariel along with the new army of Atlantis, to battle some of the worst serpents in mythology in world-wide battle. This was the final straw for most of the old systems of pre-Veil society, such as schooling where everything had to be torn down to be rebuilt anew, but only when the chaos of the Birth of the New Age died down. An even bigger surprise waited for me after everything, when after we got back to the mansion to celebrate our hard-won victory and mourn the sacrifices made, I found both protectors of Ra, Bastet and Wadjet, waiting for me. I had impressed Ra with my growing mastery over Light and Magic, along with my Leadership, and with Apophis' influence incredibly weakened after the slaying of its main body, he wished to see how much further I would go, so he assigned Bastet and Wadjet under my command, while Anubis himself also made it official that he was under my command as well. It was a humbling moment indeed.

>> The Oncoming Storm
It started with a super storm heading to New York City from the heartland of the USA, then an urgent call from Athena to Annabeth ordering her to return to Olympus, the same thing was reported by Ariel, only she had received a missive from Poseidon. A little digging found that all Champions of the Greek Mythos had been recalled by the Olympians and it was making a lot of the other Pantheons nervous. So, for once, I took the first step to contact Horus through Bastet and Sekhmet, and ordered the rest of the Team to contact their patrons to ask for permission to approach the Olympians as an envoy to figure the situation out. A tense week later, we received the approval of our various Pantheons and a carefully written invitation from Zeus himself. On our arrival, we were quickly hustled off to the audience hall of the Olympians.

Athena and Poseidon both recoiled slightly at Medusa's presence, followed by intense, but quickly covered guilt and regret, that Medusa wore Egyptian vestments and stuck close to Anubis certainly sent a clear message to the two of them.

That small interplay aside, the situation was explained and left us all more than a little flabbergasted. Typhon had returned and he was on his way to New York City to finish the job he had started so long ago. Oddly, all of them including Hades, had made the unanimous decision to not involve the other Pantheons with the situation, and called their various Champions to give them all the various tasks that they all held before they left to fight Typhon on their own. While they were certain that they would able to kill him between their concerted efforts, the battle would also definitely kill them. Zeus even had a set of gauntlets made for Annabeth in acknowledgement of her efforts, and just as he was about to send us off, Medusa's rage peaked and she exploded all over the Olympians.

Calling them out on the clear sacrifice for the greater good they were about to pull, she made it clear that the only way that they were going to get the shame from their actions in the past was to continue to work and live long enough to have accomplishments that would stand up to those shames. As one of the few wronged by the Olympians, Medusa made it clear that in no uncertain terms that sacrificing themselves was the coward's way out, the story of their sacrifice was still one action and would eventually be eclipsed by their very many shames once more, and she'll make certain of it herself if she had to. No matter what, they had to live, they had to work hard to have enough stories that would stand up to and eclipse their shames, nothing else would suffice.

With that said, Medusa turned around, not even sparing a tearful Athena a glance before she walked out, and with a wave from the hand of a tired Zeus, we followed. Invited to spend the night on Olympus, we waited for word from the leadership, however as anxious as we were Medusa looked like she had lifted a massive weight off of herself, and from her proximity to Anubis, it seemed like she was finally moving on with her new lease on life.

The evening of the following day had Ares and Athena, both of them looking oddly refreshed and revitalized call a general meeting of everyone on Olympus at Dionysus' stage, where Zeus headed the meeting. There we saw the rest of the main Olympian Gods, everyone looking just as revitalized as Athena and Ares, and an especially active Zeus bade everyone to sit and laid out the oncoming threat along with the options for everyone they recalled; leave without consequence (it WAS Typhon that they were talking about), stay to assist those going to the front lines against the Father of Monsters and his army, or go out with the three Brothers, Apollo, Artemis, Athena, and Ares to battle Typhon and his army. They were not going to force anyone to join them, nor were they going to force anyone to leave against their will, but to volunteer meant that tying themselves to the Fate of Olympus as a whole. Those of the main group remaining were going to do various things to assist the war effort, including evacuating the city, sending regular messages to the other pantheons of the progress against Typhon, healing those evacuated from the front lines or preparing their last rites if need be...a whole host of things that would all but guarantee that they would not be able to escape if the front lines collapse and Typhon reached NYC.

It was...odd, seeing them so unified, but I could not help to be heartened by the entire thing, and from the mass volunteering of the minor god of Olympus, followed by the champions, I was clearly not the only one, however, my team held back, even Annabeth and Ariel, waiting for my decision. I stood asking only one question, if they would accept assistance from champions of other pantheons, as a number of the champions they had recalled all had teammates. The affirmative from the King of Olympus was enough to have me pledge my team's support, even Medusa agreed, and it also had a number of the other champions scrambling to contact their teams to give them a rundown of the situation and the choice that they had been given from Zeus.

By the end of that week, there was an army of champions and their allies following the Olympians into battle, some other gods were also a part of this army due to the fact that Bastet and Wadjet refused to leave my side, likewise Anubis, so more diplomatic missives had to be sent to not only invite other gods, but also to politely ask that the gods who would show up would be placed under the command of a champion associated with the pantheon to make things less awkward.

The scale of the battle to follow was not as massive as the War of Serpents that had happened just a year previously, but this one instead was a concentration of some of the most talented and powerful champions to date, so much so that their identities were broadcast to let the world know of brave souls who stood alongside Olympus in facing down the Father of Monsters.

“Hi mom! Guess I'm following in Dad's footsteps huh?”

...in all likelihood, there were better words, but everything about this situation matched the vision of my death I had when I first awoke. Didn't matter though, I still signed up for all of this, so I'm going to see it through.
