MegaTale (Genocide) Part 2- Your Best Friend

                                                CHAPTER 1: Development Build and World

Rock continues down the path. Soon he sees himself in front of a green patch of grass. Sitting in the middle of the patch lies a robot with shades, a shield, and an arm cannon of sorts. All the color seems to be sapped away from him.

"Howdy! I'm Retro Pikachu! But you can call me Retro." the robot stated, noticing Rock. Under his breath, Rhythm seems to repeat their name for some reason... "Welcome to the Prototype!" Retro continued. "You must be new around here, huh? Wow, you gotta be so confused! Someone has to teach you how things work down here! Luckily, I think I can do just that. Ready? Here we go!"

Suddenly, a heart appears right in front of Rock. For some reason, he seems to be able to control it with his mind, which also causes him to move around himself. "Ah, I can already tell you can see that heart!" Retro exclaimed in an informative matter. "Well, that is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being! It starts of weak, but can get stronger if you gain a lot of LV! What does LV stand for, you ask? Why, LOVE, of course!" Rock didn't really seem interested. Rhythm, on the other hand, seems to be lost in his thoughts and is pretty much not focusing on anything that's happening. "Aww, you want some LOVE, don't you?" Retro said in a cutesy voice. Well, as cutesy as it can get, that is. "Well, why not let me share some with you?" He continued. He seemed to have winked afterwards, though it was barely seeable underneath the dark shades. Suddenly, Retro raises his arm cannon and fires 4 pellets into the air. These seem to float back down and surround Retro a bit. "Down here, LOVE is shared through... little white... friendliness pellets." Retro stated. An obvious lie. "Here, catch as many as you can!" Retro said, sending the pellets towards Rock. Rock wouldn't take any of this, however, so he did the one thing he could do.

"...Hey, buddy." Retro responded after Rock sidestepped the "friendliness pellets". "You missed them. Here-" Retro stated, summoning in more "pellets". "Let's try it again." Retro sent the pellets towards Rock, who sidesteps them again. Retro growled at this. "Are you deaf? Are you braindead!? RUN. INTO. THE. BUSTE- err, I mean, Friendliness Pellets." Now Rock knows for sure, and sidesteps the "pellets" one last time. "..." Retro was in silence as Rhythm went back into reality. "Sorry, what did I mi-" Rhythm started to say before he was interrupted. "You know what's going on here, don't you?" Retro exclaimed. "You just wanted to see me SUFFER." Rhythm was confused about this until Retro surrounds Rock- more specifically, his SOUL- with Buster Shots.

"DIE."
