  1. 'Sup, doods!

  3. HOW DID I DO THAT?! HOW DID THAT WORK?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PULL THAT OFF!
  4.
  5. *deep breath*
  6.
  7. Sigh. I'm still a little worked up. This was the moment I was worried about. Am I gonna be able to show up with my best game while trying to run the broadcast at the same time? Will my attention be focused enough to put on a good show while putting... on.. a good... show...?
  8.
  9. As it turns out, the answer was “yes.”
  10.
  11. It's been a while since I felt this good about V-Hard. On Friday, I had a race at around the four hour mark of the stream where I could have gotten world record. On Sunday, I had a practice run that got within a minute of my best time. V-Hard, remember, often goes sideways between 15 and 25 minutes, but I was getting multiple 12 minute times. I was feeling good with what my best was going to do against Yoschi, but I was not certain I was going to bring my best to the match, especially with having to call the FFRPro vs Tayman match before it. When the first race ended with a sub-15, most of those worries subsided and then shifted to the normal V-Hard concerns about the game cooperating.

  13. For the most part, it worked out. The show was great. I executed fairly well. The drama was at its maximum. My reward for my efforts is a final match in S-Hard against FFRPro. This feels like an even greater obstacle to overcome.
  14.
  15. I would like to thank the changes I have made to my diet for creating healthier habits and keeping my mind sharper than usual. It's not yet clearing the brain fog I'm constantly under, but I am appreciating the weight loss.

  17. Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:
  18.
  19. Goal #1: edit the post-tournament credits sequence. DaVinci Resolve keeps crashing from running out of memory when I load the clips. Not only am I in the market for a 4x16 GB DDR4 memory kit, but I have a bad habit of having live YouTube streams in the background as white noise while I'm trying to do things, such as typing up this update.
  20.
  21. Goal #4: edit my personal best runs. My own projects are really low priority compared to the tournament. There isn't much administrative work to do for the tournament, but I'm not in the mindset to work on any of it right now.
  22. Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts left to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. This will need to be saved for after the tournament.
  23. Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.
  24. Goal #7: maybe make a universal LPS broadcast layout. I have a base, but perhaps I should stylize one for the LPS brand. Let's just say I have plans. Hopefully I wouldn't over-homogenize it like SpeedGaming did.
  25. Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.
