[12:04] After sustaining so many injures the Demon wasn't able to do much training the way it wanted...but it would stop Ra for long. After exploring the caverns and crushing and defeating the demons that came to oppose it Ra devoured them gaining their strength and fighting spirit...While it was fairly known Demons didn't need to cannibalize to gain strength as most things of the occultic variety it was a short cut to power.

Testing its new mythril replacements getting used to their touch and feel before finally arriving back in Crafthold...Ra was a warrior throughout its existence the only purpose it had was to claim victory even if injured. That's why it brandished the mythril replacements upon its body with the utmost confidence.

He was still alive. He still had his breath and he still had the desire to fight any foe. Not to mention his talent in creating rifts had gotten a lot better he was now able to sustain a stable rift for about 5-10 seconds without it collapsing upon itself...Of course that was with about 30 seconds of preparation involved....Still his mentors teachings was finally showing some results.

[12:05] The girl tapped her foot on the ground, lips curling into a frown. "It isn't as easy as you think. You have a reason to dedicate. Family. Friends. It is expected of you. I do not have such things."

"I am admittedly rather selfish in this way of thinking. I live for my own sake. I do things for my own sake. I always have. I've been on my own, so it was the only way for me to do things."

Nasira sighed.

"Perhaps that is a wrong way to think. Only recently I've been pushing myself to experience more things out in the world and make friends. And yet I still feel like I will never find something to dedicate myself to beyond continuing to live and just going with whatever happens."

[12:11] Taking steps to approach the Drakanite, Vaan would come to a halt just inches away from her. His gray eyes would be looking into her own as he prepared to speak.

"I feel like...everyone had a purpose, a reason, whatever you want to call it-- you just need to find it. Even if it's something as simple as living for yourself, that's still something to dedicate yourself to."

Vaan was one of the lucky ones to have family and friends. He had purpose, which was to protect and aid them. At least, that's what he wanted to do.

"Words like 'family' and 'friends' are just words at the end of the day. What really forms those ties are the bonds you share with others. You might not have family now, but one day you can. You might find a father-figure, or a mother-figure. Perhaps someone you come to think of as a brother orsister. Just because you don't have such now doesn't mean that you never will-- and when you do find people like that, people who you're able to bond with to such an extent, then maybe you won't have such a selfish outlook on life. Not that I'm saying you're wrong to or anything.

I think that the main problem here is that rather than trying to find something to dedicate yourself to, maybe you should let it find you."

[12:11] Ra sat upon the ground and again began to pull forth darkness to its being surrounding itself in a cloak of virulent shadows because of Ra'Kamel had regained its chaotic heart the amount of darkness it could call upon was even more crude and than it could prior...A swirling vortex of dark magic took shape and the demon made its intention to burn through the lifestream noticeable.

As the swirling portal took shape Ra'Kamel would summon forth one of their lesser demons to serve as a test subject for his experiment after all he couldn't take the risk himself until he was completely sure he could maintain it.

Pushing the demon through the open rift Ra would watch what effect it had. Despite their best efforts it would again rebound the lesser demon back sending a shocking wave of depravity flooding through the area...Which was difficult for anyone paying attention not to notice.

Although this time more or less the demon wasn't injured or harmedin anyway and since the command of their master hadn't been completed the creature stood back up to attempt to enter again.

[12:13] Ra'Kamel says, "Hrm...damn it..."
[12:14] Nasira was going to respond, but very obviously she ended up staring off at what Ra'kamel was doing while Vaan was trying to speak to her. She drifted off from the topic briefly, before looking back at him.

"You may be right. In either case, there is nothing I can do it about it right now. Say, would you like to spar? I think it might be a good idea to show off that spell."

[12:16] Vaan Invidia says, "Honestly...I don't feel like sparring right now-- I finished doing a lot not too long ago."
[12:17] Nasira grabs Vaan and throws him off the cliff. ( Omit )

[12:17] Nasira says, "Alright, that's fine."
[12:17] Nasira says, "I wonder what I should focus on trying to learn next."
[12:17] Nasira asks, "A bigger patch of fire? Dashing while accelerated by flames? A bigger fire wave?"
[12:17] Nasira says, "I did see other spells you could do."
[12:17] Sinael stands by as Vaan and Nasira chat about something he'd soon forget. He looked around the city looking for some Mythril armor, there seemed to be none at all around.

He stood there wondering if he could go and get some ores to create a set through a smith. Suddenly he remembered the vampire who tried to eat him when he went toward that direction.

That was out of the question.

"Guess I'll have to wait for a restock." He said as he placed his hands on his head and let out a sigh.

[12:20] An index finger moved to tap against Vaan's chin in thought. That was a good question-- as an experienced fire mage, surely Vaan could offer the Drakanite decent advise on what to practice next.

Which spells were the most useful for him...?

"Well, I guess it depends on what you need. Do you think you're lacking offensively or defensively right now?

Learn the flame dash for offense, and the technique that scorches the ground for defense. Personally, I always prioritize defense because up-close fighters are super strong."

[12:21] Another attempt and another after that. Ra'Kamel continued summoning forth as many rifts as it was able to swirling dark voids continued to be summoned and opened. Bending reality and warping the lifestream each time. It was obscene to those who could not muster such magics to imagine but the Kaor continued to forge on ahead...Such training wasn't something anyone could master with ease after all. Yet Ra had learned to utilize Riftmancy In combat when its life had been placed in danger it was able to open a stable rift for everyone to evacuate...

The Demon wondered why now that it could focus and concentrate at peace was it not able to create a perfect rift to cross through? Then a sudden click emerged from its mind the reason why it made more sense when they thought of it in simpler terms.

Demons were Demons..They performed the best when they were at risk...When death is approaching they stave it off with their power...They're cells are completelydesigned to be violent, bloodthirsty and overall abhorrent in nature...'peace' was a concept demons could not fully grasp for they were always at war with something even if it was themselves.

[12:22] "Hmm. I don't know if you noticed, but when we did spar I was able to reduce some of the damage you were inflicting upon me. And that patch of flames you created would probably be good even for offence."

Nasira wasn't sure.

"The dash was also pretty useful. Not just for offence but for closing the gap in general. I had.. trouble moving when fighting you due to the gravity spells."

[12:25] "Oooh, I noticed alright-- but against a melee fighter, pssh. That won't really help much." He'd state, giving a dismissive wave of his hand.

"They can be relentless. It's hard to fight against them unless you really know what you're doing-- that, or they're just inexperienced.

What's even more important than learning new techniques are the fundamentals such as blocking and evading. Would you say you've got them down?"

[12:28] Although while calming itself down it had learned to manipulate the ambient dark magic that resides within itself a lot better however now with the change in its mentality it would have to shift that magic into an attack magic format...For the longest Ra'Kamel thought of Riftmancy as a mere method to tear open the rift...While such a method might have been suitable to mortals for a demon it required more finesse…

Ra needed to attack the lifestream itself...Burn a hole through it each time it wanted to create a rift...Instead Ra was merely gently burning through it...but the lifestreams power was far too dense for the creature to lightly scar its flesh...The Lifestream was an enemy...It was the most repulsive force to beings of chaotic nature...It would not accept such a being to enter the lifestream easily...

As Ra continued to pump itself up they decided to attempt their new method of opening the dark gate. The same pattern as before. Concertation...Creating an elaborate portal of swirling shadows...And now that the portal was created there was little time to waste.

[12:28] "I didn't do a lot of blocking against you. But I was.. evading some of your combos when I could. It was difficult though since you slowed me down."

Nasira pondered the situation.

"I might need to work on those basics. I didn't think once I got stronger people fighting up close would be too much of an issue as long as I can turn that against them."

[12:31] "One of the reasons I'm able to defeat a lot of older people despite my age is because believe it or not, I just have more experience than them with the basics."

He could remember it as if it were yesterday, all of those years spent training with his father in which he'd simply work on avoiding Vel's flames and blocking against weak pushes of gravity magic.

"I started that type of training with my dad when I was six, and did it all the way up until I was ten-- then I started working on magic stuff."

[12:34] "Then.. that should be my next goal. I'll work on evading and blocking. I'll see if some people might be willing to help me do training like that." The Drakanite girl gave a nod to Vaan in approval.

"It will take some time, but I'll reach that point eventually. I feel like dodging and blocking won't take a long to learn as some spells do."

[12:35] Vaan Invidia says, "Probably not-- good ol' Sinael here is actually a melee fighter. You should try to practice against him."
[12:35] Nasira says, "If he wanted to help, sure. I can't force him, though."
[12:36] Sinael Anauel says, "I could give you one match, just one."
[12:37] Sinael Anauel says, "I start to feel weird the longer i fight."
[12:37] Nasira says, "Really? I had.. a lot of fun fighting."
[12:37] Vaan Invidia says, "Maybe that weird magic is finally catching up with you."
[12:37] Nasira asks, "Occult?"
[12:38] Vaan Invidia says, "Uh...I don't know what it is."
[12:38] Vaan Invidia says, "He's different than others."
[12:38] Sinael Anauel says, "I think its more so that i don't know what its doing.."
[12:38] Nasira says, "..Huh."
[12:38] Sinael Anauel says, "Nothing.."
[12:38] Gathering dark magic to its fists the demon quickly summoned forth another wave of dark force, Blasting through the portal that served as a door to the lifestream, But more so it meant more than that to the demon. Ra'Kamel had lost pieces of itself scattered within the void and other places upon Agartha...It had ventured to the Archons flying Palace to collect its Chaotic heart, yet there were still more parts of himself missing and without a proper method of riftmancy Ra would never get back what he had lost.

Channeling the force of the Chaos within itself more than mere dark magic was summoned forth. First a burst of intention ' I want to rip apart the world apart with its very own source of energy.' Second came the application. Horrific dark magic swirling upon its hand an invisible force streamed from the Kaor's movements like ribbons and it was more so felt than it was seen.

With his intention clear and his magic being transformed into an entirely new force the demon some released it. A virulent burst of magic or what appeared to be suddenly enveloped the void this was nothing beyond a magic designed to attack...To Kill yet instead of a physical foe the Demon had Challenged the lifestream itself. If Ra'Kamel spoke any words at that moment it would be a clear what its intentions were...' Fight back if you dare...'

[12:40] Vaan Invidia says, "Anyways, if you two do spar then I want front-row seats."
[12:40] Nasira says, "Hmm.. we could spar later, then. Unless he wanted to just get it over and done with now. But, like before, I have to ask he holds back in my case."
[12:41] Sinael Anauel says, "Yea, go ahead and take it."
[12:41] Sinael Anauel says, "Sure, we can go ahead and do it now."
[12:43] Vaan Invidia asks, "Uh...are you coming, Nasira?"
[12:43] Nasira says, "Yeah."
[12:50] The Ripple of magic surged against the dark portal like a spear forcing itself against a powerful shield the powerful blast of pure violent intention throwing itself towards the gate and like unlocking a key the demon forced open the gate blasting through it with some strain...Although Ra'Kamel didn't fathom its power was some how different it's sole focus was upon the rift that had opened...

The lifestream was burned through. An actual hole pierced through the lifestream and stood before the Kaor. Chaotic sparks sending vast waves of malefic corruption pouring through the void. The twisting vortex was some how stable...Although Ra'Kamel would not know this it channeled forth a Chaotic drive of the Arcane that allowed it to force open the rift with perfection.

[13:00] Ra was interested in seeing how much more stable this portal was throwing in another one of its lesser demons the Kaor watched as the creature fell down the wormhole and quickly popped back up hoping around...After all it was one of the very few demons who survived the Kaor's experiments.

Its not as if it was free just yet. A few more trial runs were experimented on watching the demon slide in and out of the portal it had been a few months to almost a year...and the Kaor had finally created a Rift that was passable and safe..

Taking the risk for itself Ra'Kamel decided to jump through itself risking a lot but also testing a lot as well. hoping it would work. As they jumped through it appeared they arrived at their destination flawlessly..Yet creating small rifts was the best it could do as of right now...moving along more people seemed to be impossible at its current level of mastery yet still it found pride in their own abilities.
