[FFXIV] MatPat GameTheorists Theory for Hydaelyn Size

Dear MatPat,

I was wondering if you ever considered doing theories on Final Fantasy XIV, and its planet, along with other things not well-known about it. For instance, there is evidence supporting that Hydaelyn (the planet Eorzea/Aldenard/Vylbrand) is on, is in fact a Super Earth. Why do I think this? Because you can see Western Thanalan / West Coast of Aldenard from the East Coast of Vylbrand (La Noscea's island.) Since the strait separating the island nation from the peninsula of Aldenard is wider than Lake Michigan (Which you can't see across due to the Earth's curvature) this means that Hydaelyn is actually a Super Earth, and thus has less curvature between the two landmasses, and thus allows you to see from one shore to another.

But that isn't all. Because of this, it means the measuring system people use on Hydaelyn has the wrong scaling to Earth (Even though Square Enix has provided equivalent earth measures.) If Hydaelyn was indeed a Super Earth, this would mean those cute, cuddly "lalafells," would actually be closer to Earth Human heights, than anything else.
