Amelia Rowsdower is a Schenectady, New York native living in Baltimore, Maryland, with a job as an assistant librarian at a satellite branch library. Her first Jeopardy fun fact is that at age 18, she won a pie-eating contest, and the woman she won against became her long time girlfriend until they were married in 2012. Her second Jeopardy fun fact is that she once took a pigeon to the face while trying to take a Titanic (her favorite film) themed selfie with her wife on the Staten Island ferry. She voted for Hilary Clinton in the presidential election, but there was a moment where she hovered over the button for Trump.

In her Jeopardy episode, she came in with an early lead by answering the question "Potatoes were first cultivated in this South American country 7,000 years ago by the Incas." with "what is Peru?" and almost gave up her streak by forgetting the "what is" on "This large country is the world's leading producer of bananas", but ultimately went for a downturn when she failed to answer "what is eyeballs" to "This human body part stays the same size from birth, however, our nose and ears never stop growing."

He fate was sealed however when she lost half her money on a double jeopardy of "E.D. (Eric Donald) Hirsch educated us with his book this type of "Literacy: What Every American Needs to Know", missing the answer of "what is media literacy".

She failed to correctly answer the Final Jeopardy question of "What is the name of the "fancy" pigeon breed shown here:", answering "what is Jacobin" instead of "what is Lahore".
