- Name: Sir Verres
- Race: Corrupted Human
- Appearance: Verres has a straight posture, standing up at around 6'4 in height. He's rather gangly in appearance and lacks much notable muscle, with snow-white skin and a shaven head, his eyes are a purplish hue.
- Age: Around 120 years old.
- Equipment: Cane to assist in walking.
- Verres wears a helm designed specifically for him. Crafted of a dark steel, it appears as a flat topped helmet, with the lower portion of it appearing to be made of segments of steel. The lower part can magically unclasp to reveal the lower part of his face, while the upper remains obscured from view. As a magical piece of armor, it's much more durable than average steel.
- He wears a set of long sleeved robes that cover up his entire body, usually opened up to freely expose the lamellar darksteel vest that protects his torso. Not an inch of skin is revealed; his hands are gloved, and even then, the sleeves usually drape over them.
- Background: Long before Verres was involved with the zombie wars, he was a nobleman who served as what they called 'Grand General'. Unlike most military leaders, Verres strayed away from battle and kept away from the front lines. He always thought of war, adventure, and all that dangerous nonsense as something to be left to the underlings below him. He acted as the mastermind behind the scenes; planning out the strategies and tactics that the army would carry out, and even repelled the Canyonland orcs with minimal casualties. Verres grew to be famous amongst his people; some even wanted to elect him as the new King of the county, and while Verres was willing to accept, it was around this time that Radiel reared his ugly face.
- While out hunting, Verres had fatally injured himself and from a fall. The bone could be seen ripping through the flesh, and the muscular sinew torn beyond repair. Verres limped his way to the closest capital after this, and was taken into Del'Roden with open arms. The doctors were shocked as Verres remained unflinching, answering questions in a cool, calm demeanor as they repaired his leg. When finished, Verres was given a cane to assist in walking about. As the Grand General of a nearby county was sighted within the city, he was offered a position under Radiel. Verres gleefully accepted, knowing that the county was the strongest among all of Exus, and was this appointed as one of the master tacticians behind the undead army's works.
- During his time under Radiel, Verres was given access to powerful dark magics that vastly enhanced his lifespan, but also corrupted his soul. The Grand General however, never lost his calculating demeanor, and simply bide his time behind the waves of soldiers as he orchestrated the tactics they were to carry out through the war. It was when Radiel had turned his attentions on the former county of Verres that he realized he was on the wrong side: After Radiel slaughtered his own people, Verres quickly ran away from the Lich and surrendered to Airene, asking to be pardoned and willing to work against his former enemy.
- This leads to the backstory that fits Verres into the army: Verres' information on the Lich king's army would prove invaluable, and so thus he'd be accepted into the army. After serving for several years within the military he was Knighted; and thus, is now Sir Verres. He now acts as both a strategist whom leads small squads into battle, and also an important decoder of the arcane arts; due to his training under Radiel, his knowledge of the dark arts are extraordinary, making him an important member of the Bellwich army.
