Templo de las Nubes Oscuras - Yuhuang Hall(#8020R)

	El Templo de las Nubes Oscuras - the Temple of the Dark Clouds. This Taoist temple of the Dragon Gate sect is the oldest such temple in Mexico, and provides spiritual services to the assorted and various denizens of Tijuana's Barrio Chino that subscribe to the faith.

	Yuhuang Hall is the first structure on the temple grounds. It is dedicated to the Jade Emperor, who oversees the Celestial Bureaucracy in Chinese religion. It is three bays long with a gabled roof, and is flanked by drum and bell towers.

	Danny is making his way through the temple in the wake of the prior evening's excitement. He's helping with clean up, etc, and checking on how all the various monks are doing.

Grace is sitting in a corner as she softly plucks at a guitar and hums softly. Nothing as formal as a sing. Just something to keep her hands busy.

Lana isn't much for mingling it seems, she is making sure nothing is out of hand and that none of the possible visitors are disturbing the festivities. As she spots Danny she pauses, bows her head and offers a soft smile as she then makes her way over.

Grace smiles as she sniffs the air and then tilts her head as she pauses for a moment. "Miss Lana, Mr Danny it is good to see both of you again."

	Danny gives Grace and Lana a nod by way of greeting. "We had a bit of excitement on opening night." The maoshan shares the details of the commotion from the previous evening - https://pastebin.com/7vJSgZ1q.

Lana beams Grace a warm smile as she then focuses upon Danny as he gives the rundown of what transpired during the previous night and nods her head slowly. "So pleased to hear."

Grace smiles as she stands and then slips the guitar across her back with the strap across her chest as she walks over. It really is nearly unnatural how fluid her movements are for a blind woman as she easily navigates over.

	"Ms. Sasaki, of the Crimson Lotus down in barrio chino, has shared that there seems to be an uptick here in Tijuana of activity from the yomi lords." Danny lets out a small sigh. "We should be extra vigilant. There may be a grander conspiracy afoot in our little corner of the middle kingdom."

Lana furrows her eyebrows, noticing the fluid motion of Grace and seems somewhat proud of the fact that Grace is doing so well. "There has been no whispers as of yet of such a thing among the Hsien or any of the guang." she murmurs softly as she glances around with her silvery shining eyes.

Grace says, “I'm afraid I do not know much of such things. I am told that if I really tried I could enter the world of spirits, but well, it would not be safe for me to do so."”

	Danny nods, "Well, for now, it appears as we'll just have to be vigilant about their presence on our side of the Wall. Ms. Sasaki captured a Demon of Iron and Violence, that I dispatched the other night. Then last night, here we seem to have had a raksha come through. The two events might be unrelated, but either way, they remain unsettling incidents."

Lana stands idly by at this point, she is considering the words mentioned she is after all quite the adept spirit mage and a creature breaking through. Well Lana seems content to hear what the Dragon has to say about it all, but she does finger her belt, which has those jade stones inlaid in it.

	"I'm going to put together an investigation team, I think. It will provide us with an opportunity to get to know our neighbors better, which is always a good thing." Danny pauses as he considers. "At some point, we may need to make our way across the Wall, but for now, we keep our investigations to this side of things. See what shakes loose. Sound good?"

Grace smiles "Well if I can be of any service let me know. I'm not an expert in the denizens of the darkness, but I would love to learn more."

"It's imperative to keep the struggle between the tiger and the dragon in balance." Lana murmurs softly as she places her hands behind her back and nods her head slowly. "I have not dabbled with the elements while in these lands, the loss of the connection to the homelands is strong but I will do what you ask of me, Dragon." she stretches the corners of her mouth. "I will keep a vigil ear to hear what is said beyond the wall."

	Danny looks to Grace, then back over to Lana, and gives a small nod. "I have made the monks aware. Together, hopefully e are able to keep our temple safe." To Lana, "Chinatown in Prospect, however, is another matter entirely. You should makes sure our triad soldiers know to look for the out of the ordinary more so than usual. The last thing we need is our operations on the street to be unduly compromised."

Grace nods her head and listens. Honestly she does not have well any expertise to add to this topic, but is more than willing to be tentative.

Lana nods her head slowly once again, the mentioning of soldiers makes her glance towards Grace once more and then she smiles. "Moashan, I will naturally make sure all are attentive and aware to look for -strange- matters while tending their normal affairs." she keeps her hands behind her back as she stands still in that half bow position. "I will also address the servants of the Qiú to keep an eye out on the otherside of the wall."

Grace says, “Well if nothing else I am immune to supernatural powers that require eye contact?”

	Danny relaxes a little, thankful that his closest confidants are taking the new threat so seriously. A pause, as he pivots to a more pleasant subject. "In addition, we have a new member of our family - I have taken on Misty Masuko, of the hengeyokai, as a personal assistant. She'll be handling matters charitable and cultural for the Wing King Benevolent Association. Please make yourselves known to her, and welcome her into our family."

"Hengeyokai." Lana knows the word, but alas the look on her face tells that she knows not much about them as she nods her head slowly. "Shifter yes?" she eyes Danny and then lets out a soft laugh as she looks back towards Grace. "You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.. Italian Proverb. You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore." she nods. "I am so proud of your positive nature."

	Danny nods in agreement, looking to Grace, "Atta girl. Hopefully your sharpened senses will be an asset against the raksha, who are masters of deception."

Grace grins and hugs the Lana. "Well I also recently created a new enchantment you guys may be intrested in. It sharpens your reaction times and makes you react way faster than normal.

	Danny eyes Grace with interest. "That would be incredibly helpful, Grace. And let me know if either of you need additional potions or shield blessings from me."

Lana accepts the hug, and then decides this is as good moment as any as she makes her way over towards Grace and circles around the blind woman with a scrutinizing look in her eyes. "Still not marked, have you not taken your oaths of loyalty to the Dragon, Grace?" she arches an eyebrow.

	Danny steps back. "I have some events to tend to." EVENTS! For Danny, this could ranger from something as simple as making purple yin tea, to something as large as tweaking one of the yama kings! "I'll see you both again soon."

	And with that? The maoshan master turns and departs, leaving the temple in good and capable hands.
