Quess: I only managed to take down two units in the end. Those controls are just too big for my hands.

「ノーマルスーツを着れば、合うさ」
Astonaige: They’d feel right if you were in a Normal Suit.

ハサウェイ
「今度は僕にやらせて」
Hathaway: Let me give it a try next.

アストナージ
「ああ、いいよ」
Astonaige: Sure, no problem.

クェス
「凄いね、前の戦闘で撮影した映像から
すぐにCGを作って、モビルスーツの
コックピットで模擬戦をやれるなんて」
Quess: It’s amazing they can take a video from the last battle and make CG out of it for a simulation in a Mobile Suit cockpit right away.

アデナウアー
「軍事機密なんだから、
他の人に喋っちゃいかんぞ」
Adenauer: That’s a military secret, so you can’t talk about it to anyone else.

クェス
「ふん!」
Quess: Hmph!

アデナウアー
「おい!」
Adenauer: Hey!

ブライト
「…娘さんは、
いいセンスを持っていらっしゃいますよ」
Bright: ...Your daughter’s got great instincts.

アデナウアー
「この子がこんな物に興味があるとは知らなかった。
それより、娘のわがままを聞いてもらって
すまなかったな」
Adenauer: To tell you the truth, I had no idea she had any interest in this sort of thing. At any rate, I apologize you had to listen to my daughter’s selfish request.

「いえ」
Bright: It’s fine.

クェス
(嫌だ、人がいるとあれだ)
Quess: (Ugh, I hate it when he’s around.)

ハサウェイ
「クェス、俺、2機撃墜したぜ!」
Hathaway: Hey, Quess! I shot down two units!

クェス
「ああ、じゃ、私と同じだね」
Quess: Oh, cool, same as me then.

アデナウアー
「もういいだろう。クェス、食堂へ行っていなさい」
Adenauer: Alright, that’s enough. Quess, go back to the mess hall.

クェス
「わかったわよ、いちいち命令しないで!」
Quess: Fine, but you don’t have to order me around all the time!

(Quess storms off.)

アデナウアー
「まったく…」
Adenauer: That girl...

ハサウェイ
「…そうなんだ」
Hathaway: ...Is that right?

クェス
「うん、他の人と同じみたい」
Quess: Yeah, he seemed just like any other guy.

ハサウェイ
「でも、あの人、初めてモビルスーツに乗った時に
ちゃんと操縦して、ジオン軍のザクってのを
倒したんだぜ」
Hathaway: But people say he knew how to pilot a Mobile Suit from the very first time he ever got in one, and even took down a Zeon Zaku.

ハサウェイ
「コックピットに座っただけで、
ガンダムの配線なんか全部わかったって」
Hathaway: Just by sitting inside the cockpit, he totally understood how the Gundam was wired and everything.

クェス
「アハハハ!」
Quess: Ahahaha!

ハサウェイ
「何だよ?」
Hathaway: What’s so funny?

クェス
「ううん、それを[ニュータイプ]って言うんだ?」
Quess: Nothing. So that’s what they call a [Newtype], huh?

ハサウェイ
「そうさ」
Hathaway: That’s right.

クェス
「インドのクリスチーナが言ってたのと違うな。
ニュータイプは、物とか人の存在を
正確に理解できる人のことだよ」
Quess: That’s different from what Christina told me in India. She says a Newtype is someone who psychically comprehends the essence of people and things.

クェス
「それもさ、どんなに距離が離れていても、
そういうのがわかるようになるの」
Quess: And that they’re able to see things happening, no matter how far away from it they are.

ハサウェイ
「ああ、人間って地球だけに住んでいた時は
頭の細胞の半分しか使ってなかったんだろ?」
Hathaway: Yeah. Back when humans only lived on Earth, they weren’t able to use more than half of their brain cells, right?

ハサウェイ
「それが宇宙に出て、残りの頭の部分を
使うようになれば、テレパシーだって、
予知能力だって高くなるよな」
Hathaway: But when they went into space, then people started to use the other half, so they improved their abilities in telepathy and precognition.

ハサウェイ
「じゃないと、地球とコロニーで暮らしていたら、
家族だなんて思えなくなっちゃうもん」
Hathaway: Otherwise, families who were split up by living on Earth and in the Colonies would start to forget each other.

クェス
「あんたんとこの家族はわかり合ってんだ?」
Quess: I can see that your family gets along pretty well then.

ハサウェイ
「親父、いつもうるさいけどな…」
Hathaway: Yeah, but my dad still gets on my nerves...

クェス
「…うちなんか、家族で地球にいたんだよ」
Quess: ...Well, with me, our family’s always lived on Earth.

ハサウェイ
「クェス…」
Hathaway: Quess...

クェス
「ね、ここにいてもしょうがないからさ、
艦内を探検しようよ」
Quess: Hey, there’s no sense sticking around here. Let’s go explore the ship.

ハサウェイ
「勝手に出歩いたら、怒られるよ」
Hathaway: But they’ll get mad if we leave without permission.

クェス
「少しぐらいなら大丈夫よ。行きましょ」
Quess: It’ll just be for a little while. Come on.

「先程、オクトバーさんから連絡がありました。
物はラー・カイラムが[ロンデニオン]へ入港する
翌日に到着するとのことです」
Chan: I just heard from October. He said it’ll arrive at [Londenium] the day after the Ra Cailum does.

アムロ
「上出来だ」
Amuro: Excellent work.

チェーン
「すぐ使います?」
Chan: But did you need it right now?

アムロ
「シャアの出方次第だな。
ロールアウト時のデータを
俺の端末に送っておいてくれ」
Amuro: That’ll depend on what Char does. Have the data for the rollout time sent to my terminal.

チェーン
「既にやってあります」
Chan: Already done.

アムロ
「さすがだな。じゃあ、俺はブリッジへ行く」
Amuro: That’s what I like to hear. Alright, I’m heading to the bridge.

(Amuro leaves.)

リナリア
「質問。
アムロ大尉の新しい機体の話?」
Rinalia: Question. Talk about new machine for Lieutenant Amuro?

チェーン
「あら、立ち聞き?」
Chan: Oh, you overheard?

リナリア
「近くにいたら、聞こえた。
興味ある。エンジニアの性分」
Rinalia: Anyone near would hear. I have interest. Engineer’s nature.

チェーン
「新しい機体ってのは正解よ。
もう1つのνガンダムとも言える物で…」
Chan: Well, you were right about it being a new machine. You could say it’s another Nu Gundam--

クェス
「あ、また格納庫に来ちゃった」
Quess: Ah, now we’re back in the hanger again.

チェーン
「あなた…民間人が入ってはいけないのよ」
Chan: You’re... Civilians aren’t supposed to be here.

クェス
「前にもここには入ったわ。
あなたこそ、何でここにいるの?」
Quess: I’ve already been here before. What are YOU doing here anyways?

チェーン
「え?何でって…
自分はこの艦のメカニックマンよ」
Chan: Huh? What am I doing here...? I’m a mechanic on this ship.

クェス
「大人の言いそうなことね。
あたしが聞きたいのはそういうことじゃないわ。
アムロ・レイとの関係よ!」
Quess: You adults always seem to give the same kind of answer. And that’s not the question I was asking. What’s your relationship with Amuro!?

チェーン
「関係って…私の尊敬する上官よ」
Chan: Relationship...? He’s a senior officer that I respect.

クェス
「そうじゃないって!」
Quess: That’s not what I mean!

ハサウェイ
「ちょっと、クェス…」
Hathaway: Hang on, Quess...

クェス
「あたしはインドで修行したのよ。
人類がみんな共感し合える
ニュータイプになれるようにって」
Quess: I studied in India. About how all of humanity can become Newtypes and feel deeply for each other.

クェス
「だから、あたしはニュータイプだって
言われているアムロに興味があったのに。
何であなたは邪魔するの?」
Quess: That’s why I’m interest in Amuro, who’s supposed to be a Newtype. So why do you keep getting in the way?

チェーン
「邪魔?」
Chan: Getting in the way?

クェス
「あんた、あたしにとって、そういう人よ。
あんた、この艦から降りなさいな!」
Quess: Well that’s the way I see. You should get off this ship right now!

チェーン
「出来るわけないでしょ、そんなこと」
Chan: There’s no way I could do that.

リナリア
「エキセントリック…」
Rinalia: Eccentric...

クェス
「でないと、あたし…!」
Quess: Then, I’ll...!

ハサウェイ
「食堂に戻ろうよ、クェス」
Hathaway: Let’s go back to the mess hall, Quess.

クェス
「うるさい!」
Quess: Shut up!

アスカ
「うるさいのはあんたの方でしょ。
子供はさっさと出て行きなさいよ」
Asuka: You’re the one that needs to shut up. You kids should go run off somewhere else.

クェス
「あんただって、そうじゃないの!」
Quess: Then that goes for you too!

アスカ
「私は任務でここにいるの。
親の威光でわがままやられるのは迷惑千万…」
Asuka: I’m here because it’s my job. I’m not just running around being a nuisance because my dad’s enough of a big shot I can get away with it...

アスカ
「守られてる民間人の分際で、勘違いしないで。
立場を弁えなさいっての」
Asuka: You’re a protected civilian, sure, but don’t go getting the wrong idea. You need to learn your place.

シンジ
「アスカ、言い過ぎだよ」
Shinji: Asuka, you’re going too far.

アスカ
「正論よ、正論」
Asuka: I’m just saying the truth.

クェス
「ふん、何もわかってないくせに!」
Quess: Hmph, you don’t have any idea what you’re talking about!

ハサウェイ
「クェス!」
Hathaway: Quess!

(Quess storms off and Hathaway follows.)

シンジ
「アスカ、どうしてあそこまで…」
Shinji: Why’d you go that far, Asuka...?

アスカ
「ああいう手合いにははっきり言ってやった方が
いいのよ。同じ七光りでも、やることをやってる
あんたの方がいくらかマシだわ」
Asuka: You just have to be blunt with people like that. Both of you might be riding your parent’s coattails, but at least you actually do what you’re supposed to. That definitely makes you better than her in my book.

シンジ
「え?」
Shinji: Huh?

リナリア
「褒めた」
Rinalia: Complement.

アスカ
「違うわよ!あくまで比較の話!」
Asuka: No, it’s not! I was just speaking comparatively!

シンジ
「でも…あの子、お父さんとは
上手くいってないんじゃないかな」
Shinji: But... I don’t think that girl actually gets along with her father very well.

チェーン
「どうして、そう思うの?」
Chan: What makes you say that?

シンジ
「何となくですけど…」
Shinji: I just have this feeling...

アスカ
「ま、典型的なトラブルメーカーね、あの子。
行く先々で問題を起こすわよ、きっと」
Asuka: Well, she’s a stereotypical trouble maker either way. Where ever that girl goes, she’s gonna end up causing problems, you can count on that.

Torres: We have visual on Londenion.

アムロ
「アデナウアー・パラヤは
俺達ロンド・ベル隊の膝元で
何をやるつもりなのか…」
Amuro: I can’t help but wonder what Adenauer Paraya has planned here in Londo Bell’s home territory...

ブライト
「地球を寒冷化するなら、
大きな隕石を落とさなければ無理だ」
Bright: Freezing Earth won’t be possible without dropping something like a large scale meteor on it.

ブライト
「しかし、廃棄コロニーも月軌道内の石っころも
全て連邦軍が管理している」
Bright: But, all the abandoned colonies and rocks orbiting around the moon are under Federation control.

アムロ
「仮に強奪しても、地球まで移動させるのに
時間が掛かり、阻止される」
Amuro: Even if they tried to take one of them by force, it’d take time to move it to Earth, and that’s when they’d be stopped.

ブライト
「だからさ、スウィート・ウォーターを
[ネオ・ジオン]の領土に承認させて…」
Bright: But if Sweetwater becomes recognized as [Neo Zeon] territory...

アムロ
「その交渉にアデナウアー・パラヤが来たのか」
Amuro: So that’s what Adenauer Paraya came to negotiate.

ブライト
「ああ、そう思えるな」
Bright: Yes, that’s what I think.

アムロ
「それをロンデニオンでやるつもりなら、
ナンセンスだ。俺達がいるんだぞ」
Amuro: But doing that here in Londenion is just ridiculous. We’re here, after all.

ブライト
「さすがにネオ・ジオンの連中を
ルナツーに来させるわけにはいかんだろうさ」
Bright: Well it’s obvious they can’t let Neo Zeon’s people come to Luna II.

(Adenauer approaches.)

アデナウアー
「ブライト大佐、ご苦労だった。
おかげでロンデニオンまで無事に辿り着けた」
Adenauer: I have to thank you, Captain Bright. It’s because of you we’ve arrived at Londenion safely.

ブライト
「…交渉のご成功を」
Bright: ...Good luck with your negotiations, sir.

アデナウアー
「交渉?誰と?どこで?」
Adenauer: Negotiations? With whom? Where?

ブライト
「あなたが散歩のために
宇宙までいらっしゃったとは思えませんので」
Bright: I can’t imagine you came all the way into space just for sightseeing.

アデナウアー
「…私がここに来たのは、連邦政府から
発表があるまでは内密だぞ」
Adenauer: ...No one must know that I’m here, unless the Federation Government makes an official announcement.

ブライト
「はっ」
Bright: Sir.

アデナウアー
「シャトルの乗客はロンデニオンの入港管理局に
引き渡してくれ。ただ、私の娘と君の息子は
その範疇ではない」
Adenauer: Have the shuttle passengers transferred over to the Londenion port administration bureau. Excluding my daughter and your son, of course.

ブライト
「…ご配慮、ありがとうございます」
Bright: ...I thank you for your consideration.

アデナウアー
「すまないが、人を手配して
娘をホテルまで送ってもらえないか。
私は大事な用事があるのでな」
Adenauer: I apologize, but I’ll have to ask you to have someone escort my daughter to a hotel. I have important business to attend to.

アムロ
(やはり、ロンデニオンで…)
Amuro: (So that IS why he’s come to Londenion...)

アムロ
「では、自分が行きましょう」
Amuro: I’ll handle that.

ブライト
「いいのか、アムロ?」
Bright: Are you sure, Amuro?

アムロ
「ロンデニオンで用事がある。
それに、ハサウェイも送って
行かなきゃならないだろ?」
Amuro: I have business in Londenion myself. And you want to send Hathaway back home too, don’t you?

ブライト
「ああ、頼む」
Bright: You’re right, thank you.

アムロ
「ボディーガードとして、カミーユも連れて行くぞ。
彼なら、入港審査もすぐに済むしな」
Amuro: I’ll take Kamille along as a bodyguard. We should be able to get through port inspection in a flash with him.

ブライト
「わかった」
Bright: Understood.

Koji: So why can’t we go into Londenion?

カミーユ
「きな臭い状況だからな。
この世界に戸籍がある人間ならともかく、
そうじゃないとなると…」
Kamille: It’s a bit of a tricky situation here. If you have a family register in this world, that’s one thing, but if you don’t...

「ロンド・ベル隊の拠点だっつーから、
融通が利くのかと思ってたけどなあ」
Koji: I guess I just kinda thought Londo Bell’s base would be more flexible about this kind of stuff.

さやか
「しょうがないでしょ、甲児君。
ラー・カイラム以外の艦は、
入港すら出来ないんだから」
Sayaka: There’s nothing that can be done about it, Koji. All the ships aside from the Ra Cailum can’t even dock.

甲児
「じゃあ、土産物はカミーユに頼むか」
Koji: Well, guess it’s up to Kamille to get the souvenirs then.

カミーユ
「俺だって遊びに行くんじゃないんだよ」
Kamille: I’m not going out there to have fun, you know.

観光したいって頼んでたぜ」
Koji: Actually, that Quess girl asked Lieutenant Amuro to take her sightseeing around Londenion not too long ago.

「ああ、お守りをしっかりとな」
Koji: Yeah, so I’m thinking something like a good luck charm.

Char: Pardon the intrusion.

Adenauer: !

Cameron: (Char Aznable!? He’s going to be part of the negotiations...!?)

アデナウアー
「よもや、総帥自らお出ましとは」
Adenauer: I hadn’t expected the Commander-in-Chief himself to be in attendance today.

シャア
「不服かな?」
Char: Is that a problem?

アデナウアー
「とんでもない。
事前に話を聞いていれば、
場所を再考致しましたものを」
Adenauer: Not at all. It’s just if I had known prior, I would have reconsidered on the location.

シャア
「今日の交渉は、
我々が地球連邦政府に礼を尽くす立場だ。
こちらの都合を押し付けるわけにはいくまい」
Char: In today’s negotiations, we’ll be asking a favor from the Earth Federation Government. I didn’t want it to appear that we were imposing on you.

アデナウアー
「総帥のご出席で、我々も心底安心できます」
Adenauer: Your presence indeed puts our minds at ease.

シャア
「それは結構。調印書は本物かな?」
Char: That’s good to hear. Now, I trust the written treaty is genuine?

アデナウアー
「もちろん、公の効力を持つ物です」
Adenauer: Of course, this is an official document.

カムラン
(何の調印書だ?)
Cameron: (What treaty?)

アデナウアー
「当方の条件を承認していただければ、
小惑星[アクシズ]をネオ・ジオンに譲渡致します」
Adenauer: If you accept the conditions set out in this treaty, we will hand over the asteroid [Axis] to Neo Zeon.

カムラン
(何だって!?)
Cameron: (What did he say!?)

シャア
「我が艦隊の投降の件は、承諾する」
Char: We will agree to the condition to surrender our fleet.

アデナウアー
「ただし、アクシズをスウィート・ウォーターへ
移動させるのは、ルナツーでの艦隊投降後で
お願いします」
Adenauer: However, Axis can only be moved to Sweetwater after your fleet has surrendered to Luna II.

アデナウアー
「それを認めていただかなければ、
和平話はなしですな」
Adenauer: Unless we are able to come to an agreement on that, I can see no peace between us.

シャア
「その前に、これを。アクシズの代金だ。
あなた方にも心付けを用意してある」
Char: Before that, I’d like you to accept this. This is our payment for Axis. I’ve also taken the liberty of preparing a gratuity as well.

カムラン
(金塊…!)
Cameron: (Gold bars...!)

アデナウアー
「会計局の者は彼です」
Adenauer: This man here is with the Audit Bureau.

カムラン
「あ…はい、確認します」
Cameron: Ah--Sir, I’ll review it at once.

シャア
「我が艦隊の者が職を失っても、失業手当を出せない
現状でな。アクシズをスウィート・ウォーターへ
移動させる仕事は、我が艦隊にやらせたいのだが」
Char: When the fleet crews no longer have jobs, we won’t be in a position to grant them any severance pay. Therefore, I’d like to ask that you allow our fleet to handle the transfer of Axis to Sweetwater.

アデナウアー
「職のことでしたら、
連邦軍への再就職を考慮しますが?」
Adenauer: If unemployment is to be a problem, have you considered having them work within the Federation?

シャア
「自らの手でけじめを付けたいのだよ。
無論、主力はルナツーへ向かわせ、投降させる」
Char: This is something we’d prefer to handle ourselves. Naturally, the main force will travel to Luna II to surrender.

アデナウアー
「そういうことでしたら、構いません。
私共へのお心付けにも感謝致します」
Adenauer: In that case, I don’t see a problem with it. And of course, we offer our sincerest gratitude for your gratuity.

「シリンダーの中にこんな街があるなんて…!」
Quess: I can’t believe there’s a city inside a cylinder like this...!

アムロ
「ああ、500万人ほどが住んでいる」
Amuro: There is, and there’s about 5 million people living in it too.

クェス
「こんなのを見れば、
人が革新できるって信じられるわ」
Quess: It’s seeing things like this that make me really believe people can actually evolve.

ハサウェイ
「ザビ家が独立宣言をした気分が
わかるような気がする…」
Hathaway: I think I can kind of understand why the Zabi family fought to declare their independence...

クェス
「でも、ザビ家の[ジオン]は地球に負けたんだよね」
Quess: But, the Zabi family’s [Zeon] lost to the Feddies, right?

ハサウェイ
「そうだけど…」
Hathaway: Yeah, but...

クェス
「お父さんはこんな物を知らずに
地球から宇宙に住む人を支配しているのよね」
Quess: My father doesn’t know anything about these colonies, and yet he rules over the people living here from Earth.

ハサウェイ
「だからさ、シャアは一度は地球の味方をしたけど、
地球を潰してしまおうと思った」
Hathaway: You know, Char used to side with Earth, but now all he’s focused on is destroying it.

カミーユ
「ハサウェイ、それは…」
Kamille: Hathaway, that’s...

アムロ
「間違っちゃいない。シャアは俺達と一緒に
[エゥーゴ]で戦ったが、あれで地球に残っている
連中の実態を知り、嫌気が差したんだ」
Amuro: He’s not wrong. There was a time Char fought alongside us in the [AEUG], but once he realized the truth about how the people remaining on Earth are, he couldn’t take it.

クェス
「その話、わかるよ。
地球の人って、頑固で変わんないくせに
自分の奥さんや旦那さんだけは変えるでしょ」
Quess: I know how that is. People on Earth are so stubborn and conservative, but they don’t have any problem when it comes to changing wives or husbands.

カミーユ

Kamille: ...

「だから、シャアは色々やってみせてさ、
人の可能性を見せようとしてんのよ」
Quess: That’s why I think Char’s trying to do whatever he can to bring out the potential of mankind.

ハサウェイ
「でもさ、そんなことで地球を寒冷化していいの?」
Hathaway: But, does that give him the right to plunge Earth into a deep freeze?

クェス
「それは…」
Quess: Well...

カミーユ
「地球にいる全ての人が、愚かなわけじゃない。
クワトロ大尉…いや、シャアは極端過ぎるんだよ」
Kamille: Not everyone on Earth is as foolish as what you’ve seen. Lieutenant Quattro—I mean, Char--his measures are far too extreme.

クェス
「だけど、彼を支持してる人は多いわ」
Quess: But there are so many people that support him.

アムロ
「…そこまでだ。
この向こうに湖があるから、行こうか」
Amuro: ...That’s enough of that. Let’s go have a look at that lake over there.

クェス
「ええ、見てみたいわ」
Quess: Sure, I wanna see it!

「ナナイ、交渉は上手くいった。
作戦を次の段階へ移行する」
Char: The negotiations went very well, Nanai. We’ll move the operation into the next stage.

「了解しました、大佐」
Nanai: Understood, Captain.

シャア
「ロンド・ベル隊の動きは?」
Char: Have Londo Bell made a move?

ナナイ
「今のところ、ありませんが…
ご帰還の方法を変更する必要があります」
Nanai: Not as of yet... However, you’ll need to find an alternate means to return to us.

シャア
「ああ、さすがに宇宙港から
シャトルで堂々と出るわけにはいかんな」
Char: Right, simply waltzing out of the spaceport certainly isn’t an option.

ナナイ
「大佐にはギュネイのモビルスーツで
ロンデニオンから出ていただきます」
Nanai: Gyunei will come to exfiltrate you from Londenion in a Mobile Suit.

シャア
「ヤクト・ドーガではあるまいな?」
Char: I assume it won’t be in the Jagd Doga?

ナナイ
「民間に払い下げられたハイザックで。
合流ポイントは後ほど連絡致します」
Nanai: He’ll be in a civilian issued Hizack. I’ll contact you later with details for the rendezvous point.

シャア
「わかった」
Char: Understood.

ナナイ
「それでは」
Nanai: Excuse me.

(Nanai ends the transmission.)

「…アムロ、私は阿漕なことをやっている。
近くにいるのなら、この私を感じてみろ」

「この辺りは眺めがいいんだ」
Amuro: There’s a pretty nice view around here.

クェス
「ホント、とっても綺麗!」
Quess: It’s really, amazingly pretty!

アムロ
「白鳥か…」
Amuro: A swan...

クェス
「あれを追い掛けるわ!」
Quess: I’m going after it!

ハサウェイ
「あっ、クェス!」
Hathaway: Hey, Quess!

アムロ
「クェスの後を追うぞ」
Amuro: We’d better go after Quess then.

ハサウェイ
「は、はい」
Hathaway: Y-Yeah.

(The party moves one space over.)

クェス
「あそこに誰かいる…!?」
Quess: Who’s over there...!?

アムロ
「あれは!」
Amuro: That’s...!

シャア
「アムロ…!」
Char: Amuro...!

カミーユ
「あなたが何でこんな所にいるんです!?」
Kamille: What are you doing here of all places!?

シャア
「私はお前達と違って、
パイロットだけをやっているわけにはいかん!」
Char: Unlike you both, I’m more than just a pilot!

アムロ
「何だと!?」
Amuro: What’s that mean!?

クェス
「あれが、シャア…!」
Quess: That’s Char...!

アムロ
「俺達と一緒に戦った男が、何で地球潰しを!?」
Amuro: We fought together, Char, so why do you want to destroy the Earth now!?

シャア
「地球に残っている連中は、
地球を汚染しているだけの
重力に魂を縛られている人々だ!」
Char: The people who remain on Earth do nothing but pollute it, because their souls are weighed down by gravity!

クェス
(ああ、だから、夫婦でも
いがみ合っていられるんだ)
Quess: (Right, that’s why married couples fight with each other.)

シャア
「地球は人間のエゴ全部を飲み込めやしない!」
Char: The Earth can’t live with all those parasites!

アムロ
「人間の知恵は、
そんなもんだって乗り越えられる!」
Amuro: Human wisdom can overcome our problems!

シャア
「ならば、
今すぐ愚民共全てに叡智を授けてみせろ!」
Char: Then grant all those ignorant people your so-called wisdom now!

クェス
「そうだわ、それが出来ないから…」
Quess: He’s right, it can’t be done...

(Amuro takes out a gun.)

アムロ
「貴様を殺ってから、そうさせてもらう!」
Amuro: I’ll do what you say, after I get rid of you!

(Gyunei appears in the Hobby Hizack and rushes over to Char.)

カミーユ
「ハイザック!?」
Kamille: A Hizack!?

ギュネイ
「大佐、掌に乗って下さい!」
Gyunei: Captain, climb onto my hand!

アムロ
「逃がすか!」
Amuro: You aren’t getting away!

(Quess knocks the gun out of Amuro’s hand.)

クェス
「アムロ!あんた、ちょっとセコいよ!」
Quess: Amuro! You aren’t fighting fair!

アムロ
「そこをどけ、クェス!」
Amuro: Stand aside, Quess!

シャア
「行くかい?」
Char: Shall we go?

クェス
「えっ?」
Quess: Huh?

アムロ
「シャア!」
Amuro: Char!

クェス
「ええ、行くわ!」
Quess: Yeah, let’s go!

ハサウェイ
「クェス!!」
Hathaway: Quess!!

(Char and Quess board the Hizack.)

クェス
「ハサウェイ…」
Quess: Hathaway...

シャア
「ギュネイ、頼む」
Char: I’m counting on you, Gyunei.

ギュネイ
「はっ!」
Gyunei: Sir!

(The Hizack leaves the map.)

ハサウェイ
「クェス!行っちゃ駄目だ!クェス!!」
Hathaway: Quess! Don’t go! Quess!!

アムロ
「シャアめ…!」
Amuro: Damn that Char...!

カミーユ
「アムロ大尉、ラー・カイラムに連絡して
ハイザックの追跡を頼みます!」
Kamille: Lieutenant Amuro, we need to contact the Ra Cailum and have them track that Hizack!

アムロ
「ああ、俺達も艦に戻るぞ!」
Amuro: Right, we’re going back to the ship!

「カムランさん、
会計監査局のあなたが何の御用でしょう?」
Bright: Mr. Cameron. What would someone from the Audit Bureau want with me?

カムラン
「ミライ…いえ、奥様はお元気でしょうか?」
Cameron: How is Mirai--I mean, how is your wife doing?

ブライト
「しばらく会っていません。
彼女はずっと地球なのです」
Bright: I haven’t seen her for a while now. She’s been living on Earth this whole time.

カムラン
「そうですか…」
Cameron: Oh, yes, I see...

ブライト
「それで?」
Bright: Is something wrong?

カムラン
「どなたにお話をしたらいいか、迷いましたが…
シャアがこのロンデニオンにいるのです」
Cameron: At first, I wasn’t sure who I should inform about this... It’s Char. He’s here now in this colony.

ブライト
「本当ですか…!?」
Bright: He is...!?

カムラン
「はい、シャア・アズナブルが
連邦政府の高官と会ったのです」
Cameron: It’s true, Char Aznable met with Federation Government officials just a short while ago.

ブライト
「アデナウアー・パラヤにですか?」
Bright: With Adenauer Paraya?

カムラン
「彼だけではありません、他にも数人。
連中はシャアと和平が成立したと考えているのです」
Cameron: He wasn’t the only one, there were many others. They seriously believe they’ve reached a binding peace agreement with Char.

ブライト
「和平…?」
Bright: Peace...?

(An alarm sounds.)

カムラン
「な、何です?」
Cameron: Wh-What is it?

ブライト
「敵襲警報です。
あなたはすぐに艦から降りて下さい。
お話の続きは、後ほど」
Bright: It means there’s an enemy attack coming. You need to get off this ship right away. We’ll have to continue our discussion later.

カムラン
「わ、わかりました」
Cameron: A-Alright.


(Scene changes to a map screen of space outside Londenion. The four ships, the player’s team, Kamille, and Banagher are deployed. Jerid and several enemy Barzams are on the map. Amuro can’t be deployed.)


カミーユ
「このタイミングで
[ティターンズ]の残党が襲って来るなんて…!」
Kamille: What are the [Titans] Remnants doing attacking us at a time like this...!?

アムロ
「カミーユ、俺はシャアの捜索隊に加わる。
そちらは任せるぞ」
Amuro: Kamille, I’m joining the search party looking for Char. You guys handle this.

カミーユ
「了解!」
Kamille: Roger!

ジェリド
「ふん、さすがに対応が早いな」
Jerid: Hmph, should have known you’d be quick to respond.

バナージ
「狙いはユニコーンか!」
Banagher: They’re after the Unicorn!

カミーユ
「前に出過ぎるなよ、バナージ!」
Kamille: Don’t overextend yourself, Banagher!

バナージ
「わかってます!」
Banagher: I know!

ジェリド
「ロンド・ベルの気を逸らせとの命令だが、
それだけで終わらせるつもりはないさ。
各機、仕掛けるぞ!」
Jerid: My orders are to get Londo Bell’s attention, but there’s no way I’m stopping at just that. All units, move in!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when either Jerid’s HP falls below 60% or 7 enemies are defeated.)

ジェリド
「まだ退くわけにはいかないんでな…!」
Jerid: I’m not packing it in just yet...!

カミーユ
「押しが弱い…。
わざわざロンデニオンまで来て、
牽制が目的だとでも…?」
Kamille: They’re not hitting us very hard... Did they come all the way to Londenion just to test our strength...?


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off.)

「艦長、アムロ大尉達も
ティターンズ残党のモビルスーツと遭遇!
交戦を開始しました!」
Torres: Captain, Lieutenant Amuro and the others have also encountered Titans Remnants Mobile Suits! They’ve begun battle!

ブライト
「コロニーの反対側でか?」
Bright: And they’re on the opposite side of the Colony?

トーレス
「はい!」
Torres: Yes, sir!

ミサト
「敵の目的は、単なる牽制ではなさそうですね。
しかも、このタイミングでとなると…」
Misato: The enemy’s goal is definitely more than just checking our battle strength. Especially considering the timing...

ブライト
「まさか、シャアをロンデニオンから
離脱させるために?」
Bright: They couldn’t actually be trying to help Char escape Londenion, could they?

ミサト
「でも、ティターンズの残党に
ネオ・ジオンへ荷担する理由が
あるとは思えませんが…」
Misato: Except, I can’t think of any reason the Titans Remnants would be willing to assist Neo Zeon...

ブライト
(となると、裏で糸を引く者の意志か。
ティターンズとネオ・ジオンの双方に
関係があるとなると…)
Bright: (Could it be the work of someone pulling the strings behind closed doors? Someone with a connection to both the Titans and Neo Zeon...)

ブライト
(アナハイム?いや、もしかしたら…)
Bright: (Anaheim? No, if it was...)

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends when Jerid is defeated.)

ジェリド
「くっ、ここまでやれば充分だろう!
カミーユ、この続きはいずれな!」
Jerid: Tch, I should have already done enough anyways! Kamille, we’ll settle this later!

(Jerid and the other enemies leave the map.)

カミーユ
「ジェリド…!」
Kamille: Jerid...!

トーレス
「残存敵機、現戦域から離脱していきます」
Torres: The remaining enemy units have withdrawn from the combat zone.

ブライト
「追撃は不要だ。
各機にシャアの捜索を再開させろ」
Bright: There’s no need to pursue them. Have all units resume searching for Char.

トーレス
「了解」
Torres: Roger.

ブライト
(もっとも、時既に遅しだろうが…)
Bright: (Of course, it’s probably already too late for that...)

(Bright is in a transmission with Adenauer.)

ブライト
「…あなたはシャアの本性がわかっていませんよ」
Bright: ...You have absolutely no idea about Char’s true nature.

アデナウアー
「アクシズを売った金で、連邦政府の福祉政策が
充実するんだぞ。でなければ、シャアは
コロニー潰しをかけると言ったんだ」
Adenauer: The money we’ve gotten from selling Axis will allow the Federation Government to fulfill its welfare policies. Besides, if we hadn’t, then Char claimed he would destroy some of the colonies!

ブライト
「シャアはコロニー潰しはしません。
地球に居残ったあなた達を潰すだけです」
Bright: Char would never harm the colonies. His only goal is to wipe out the ones who remain on Earth.

アデナウアー
「私はルナツーに行って、
武装解除の受け入れ準備をさせる」
Adenauer: I’m going to Luna II to prepare for Neo Zeon’s disarmament.

アデナウアー
「ネオ・ジオンの戦力は、
異星人との戦いで有効に使えるだろうからな」
Adenauer: Neo Zeon’s forces could be put to great use fighting against the aliens.

ブライト
「武装解除は我々ロンド・ベルにやらせて下さい」
Bright: Please allow Londo Bell to oversee the disarmament of their fleet.

アデナウアー
「和平を結ぶ相手に
貴官らを差し向けるわけにはいかん。
こちらの誠意が疑われる」
Adenauer: We can’t send your forces to conduct peace with them. That would bring our own good faith into question.

アデナウアー
「それに、ロンド・ベルには
ネオ・ジオン以外の敵と戦う役目があるだろう?」
Adenauer: Besides, I believe Londo Bell has other enemies their tasked with fighting.

ブライト
「では、我々は独自の行動を取らせていただきます」
Bright: In that case, I ask that we be allowed to act independently, sir.

アデナウアー
「当たり前だ。
貴官らが地球の危機と判断したら、
いつでも動け」
Adenauer: Yes, of course. Whenever you deem the Earth to be in peril, take action immediately.

(Adenauer ends the transmission.)

ミサト
「…言質を取りましたね、艦長」
Misato: ...At least you got him to agree to that, Captain.

ブライト
「だが、事態が大きく動くまでは静観だ。
そこが歯痒いな」
Bright: Yes, but it means the most we can do is keep an eye out until something dire occurs. That’s the irritating part.

弁慶
「しかし、ネオ・ジオンもルナツーでの
武装解除の約束を破るわけにはいかんでしょう」
Benkei: But this also means Neo Zeon can’t break their agreement to disarm at Luna II.

ミサト
「それを違えたら、地球連邦軍との全面戦争に
なりますね。それだと、シャア派とハマーン派に
分断されている今のネオ・ジオンに勝ち目はない」
Misato: Because if they go back on their word now, it means all out war with the Earth Federation. And with Neo Zeon already divided between Char’s and Haman’s factions, they wouldn’t stand a chance.

弁慶
「もし、シャアがアクシズを
地球に落とすつもりだとしても、
移動に時間が掛かる」
Benkei: And even if Char wanted to drop Axis on Earth, it’d take them time to move it first.

隼人
「アクシズの核パルスエンジンが
生きていたら、話は別だ」
Hayato: Of course, if Axis’s nuclear pulse engines are still operation, that’s a different story.

弁慶
「まさか…前のネオ・ジオン抗争でも
アクシズで相当なドンパチをやったんだぞ」
Benkei: There’s no way... There was a ton of fighting on Axis during the last Neo Zeon war.

ブライト
「その通りだが、
核パルスエンジンの状態については定かじゃない」
Bright: You’re correct, but that doesn’t mean we can be certain the nuclear pulse engines aren’t operational.

ミサト
「エンジンが生きていたとしても、
使えないようにしてネオ・ジオンへ
引き渡すのでは?」
Misato: Even if they were still usable, wouldn’t they have been rendered inoperable before handing Axis over to Zeon?

隼人
「危機感を持った軍人なら、そうするだろうが…
あのアデナウアー・パラヤはどうかな?」
Hayato: A military officer that could recognize a disaster waiting to happen would do so, certainly... But what about Adenauer Paraya?

「地球を嫌うとは、余程嫌な思い出があるんだな、
クェス・エア。何で私に興味を持ったのだ?」
Char: I gather you must have some pretty terrible memories for you to hate Earth as you do, Quess Air. You seem drawn to me. I’m curious to know why.

クェス
「あなた、人の魂は地球の重力に引かれるって
言ったでしょ。あれ、あたしに実感なんだ」
Quess: Before, you mentioned how the souls of people on Earth were weighed down by gravity. That’s exactly how I feel.

クェス
「でもさ、それがわかる人って、
不幸な人じゃないかって気になったの」
Quess: But you know, I can’t help but think that people that really understand this stuff are kind of tragic.

シャア
「私は信じる道を進んでいるつもりだ」
Char: I’m just walking the path that I truly believe in.

クェス
「あたし、白鳥が飛ぶのを見て、追い掛けたわ。
そしたら、あなたが現れた」
Quess: I saw a swan flying earlier, so I chased after it. And right after that, you appeared.

シャア
「それでアムロ達を裏切ったのか?」
Char: Is that why you betrayed Amuro and the others?

クェス
「アハハ…あの人達とは偶然知り合っただけ。
まだ友達にもなっていなかったわ」
Quess: Ahaha... I only met those people by coincidence. I mean, we aren’t even friends or anything.

Takuya: You are freakin’ kidding me...

「シャア・アズナブルと実際に会って、
強く惹かれたんでしょうね」
Four: She must have been intensely charmed by Char Aznable after meeting him in person.

カミーユ
「そうだと思う。
彼女はセンシティブ…いや、それだけじゃない。
ニュータイプとして、あの人の本質を感じ取ったんだ」
Kamille: That’s what I think. She was sensitive to--No, it was more than that. As a Newtype, she must have perceived his true nature.

アスカ
「それでシャアについて行ったってわけ?
思った通り、とんでもないトラブルメーカーだわ。
こっちの情報が漏れるじゃないの」
Asuka: So now she’s tagging along with Char? I just knew she’d be one hell of a troublemaker. And now we have someone leaking information to them.

アスカ
「それどころか、人質にされたら…」
Asuka: In fact, now they can even use that same someone as a hostage...

カミーユ
「あの人は、そんなことをしない」
Kamille: He’s not going to do that.

アスカ
「元上官を庇護するってわけ?」
Asuka: Sure you aren’t just saying that since he’s your former superior?

カミーユ
「違う。
正確に言えば、クェスを人質にする必要がないほど
緻密に作戦を練っている」
Kamille: No. Actually, it’s that his tactics are so well-crafted that he’d have no need use Quess as a hostage.

カミーユ
「俺達は、もう後手に回ってしまっているかも
知れないな」
Kamille: We’re probably already a two steps behind him without even realizing.

「カミーユ…」

Chan: (Of course... He’s like this because of meeting Char Aznable again.)

俺が必ず阻止する)
Amuro: (Char... If you want to bring all this to a close, then I will stop you.)

From:		Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam

A base on an asteroid from the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, built by survivors from the Principality of Zeon that fled the Earth sphere after being defeated by the Earth Federation Forces during the One Year War.
It can also be used to refer to the military force stationed there.

They were heavily oppressive towards Spacenoids.

An organization opposing the Titans' plan to take possession of the Earth Federation Forces.
It is an abbreviation of "Anti-Earth Union Group".
It was founded by EFF Commodore Blex Forer specifically to stand up against the Titans.

　一年戦争で地球連邦に敗れたジオン公国を指す。
　一年戦争の終わりにジオン公国はジオン共和国へと
変わり、地球連邦との休戦を締結するが、

Zeon

This refers to the Principality of Zeon, defeated by the Earth Federation in the One Year War.
After the One Year War, the Principality of Zeon turned into the Republic of Zeon and signed a truce with the Earth Federation; however, many remnant forces refused to acknowledge this fact.


ネオ・ジオン

　シャア・アズナブルを総帥とする軍事組織。
　宇宙移民者の自治権確立を実現するため、

"Humans that have adapted to life in outer space and have thus expanded their capabilities", or so many people believe, though there is actually no clear definition.
One one hand, they are known to particularly apt at understanding their peers due to their high awareness and perception skills; on the other hand, Newtypes are often revered as some of the greatest ace pilots due to their exceptional talent.
