yeonju is a shy girl. she prefers not to be in the spotlight. funny, as idols are supposed to be widely known to be considered sucessful. whenever she had to do partner work, she’d always be the odd one out. many boys liked her, but no one could successfully communicate with her. yeonhee and her parents communicate the best with her.

yeonju is extremely anti social. you’d have to take the initiative if you want to be friends with her. she had one friend when she was 16, and that was only because that friend took the initiative.

yeonju is a perfectionist. she wants her dance moves to be absolutely in sync with the music. she prefers to train alone, as she thinks that not everyone can keep up with her perfectionism. she is afraid of people finding her troublesome.

yeonju is very emotional once she forms strong bonds with the trainee. she will cry every elimination, mark my words.

yeonju has no confidence. she tries her best to stand on stage, but she can’t do it alone. if she’s with someone else, she wants the other person to be out of the spotlight.

BACKGROUND:; yeonju was born in daegu on 4th november 1999. five years later, her younger sister yeonhee was born. yeonhee is also taking part in idol discovery. her parents co-own a barbecue place with their friends, so yeonju grew up eating a ton of meat. yeonju’s parents were against her becoming an idol trainee at first, but they soon relented and let both yeonju and yeonhee become a trainee.

TRIVIA:;
- she kinda regrets focusing so much on vocal and not training her dance
- she could have joined produce 48 but she got rejected at the audition and she almost was in cherry bullet’s final lineup but was dropped at the final stage. in fact, she’s friends with all the cherry bullet members.
